This gym is so nice and clean. It's got a ton of space. Never had to wait for access to anything. There's a great workout section. The bathroom amenities were nice and clean as well. The staff greeted us immediately and we had a great time doing some top rope and bouldering here.

We happened to be the area and wanted to get a climb in so we went to this new location. Very nice looking gym! Facilities were very clean and staff were friendly! It was easy to sign the waiver and get started even as first timers at Sender One gyms. The bouldering difficulty is definitely softer than our usual gyms down in San Diego, but that may be due to newness of the gym. There seem to be a lot of climbs suitable for children so maybe this is better for families too. The bouldering area is a bit smaller than I imagined from the pictures but there's a lot of rope climbing available- we just are boulder only. We still had a really good time and the 5 stars is really for the service received throughout our time here. All the guests were also very respectful of space/climbing etiquette.

I was walking around Aliso Viejo town center and discovered this huge climbing gym. I wish they had an elliptical climb! I can definitely get my steps in here climbing all of the various walls! This is a brilliant idea for the adventurous people who enjoy challenging themselves and building confidence! They have kids camp so you can drop off the brats and go shopping in the area!

Such a great indoor climbing spot for the whole family! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. After taking the intro training class, my wife and I have been loving coming back every week to climb together. It's also super family-friendly--kids have plenty of fun activities and entertainment options to enjoy, and there's even a small fitness area as well. The whole place has such a positive and encouraging vibe. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try indoor climbing and get into an awesome sport!

Another Sender One opening, this time in South County. I've been a member since day 1 in Santa Ana, and I will still make that my primary gym (was closer to home) but the Aliso gym is going to be in the mix on weekends. Like Lakewood, Aliso is a smaller gym, but it has everything, including leading, bouldering a kids climbing center (Birthday Parties!) and crack climbing.

Compared with the Santa Ana location, the Aliso Viejo Sender City feels better suited for older kids or kids with some climbing confidence. Some of the kids' climbing elements are a little trickier, and the setup can be less forgiving for younger kids who still need help clipping in or getting comfortable. The staff at this new facility are great. We're happy this location opened and will come back, but parents with younger elementary kids may find Santa Ana a bit easier.

This location has only been open for a few weeks, but we're so glad it's here. We've had a few meetups with friends, and my son has gotten to climb at Sender City (kids area) boulder and rock climb the tall / vertical walls. Came home drenched today, new obsession unlocked. A fun healthy activity, great exercise and the staff is really friendly and helpful. There has been nothing in this area for kids, and we're always driving 30+ minutes to other Sender One's and climbing gyms, and or other indoor activity places. So this is refreshing, beats staying home and certainly beats video games. Obviously the place is brand new and really clean, but also very spacious with a lot of variety, a few exercise machines and yoga. We're also looking forward to the youth and summer camps, and of course a new Birthday party spot.

A beautifully designed and gorgeous new fully fledged climbing gym in south OC? SIGN ME UP! I can't tell you guys how excited I am to finally have a Sender One in this area, because the drive to Santa Ana unfortunately was just too far to make regularly besides the kids climbing camps or the monthly events here and there. My daughter loves the kids programs they offer, and I love the ease of having a healthy option to the traditional gym with climbing. But they have a fitness area and yoga too so Sender One really ticks all the boxes anyway! This gym is such an amazing community addition to the Aliso Viejo Town Center.

This gym is worth checking and putting your membership in since you have access to all their other branches. In comparison to the Santa Ana branch which is the closest to this one, it may seem smaller, but it's not like you're going to climb all the routes they have in a day anyway, so it's not really an issue. Also, it's a new playground so I like the vibe of it: high ceilings, good ventilation, and bright atmosphere! I was reading the earlier reviews, and as someone who's been there in their early days, I feel like we need to give this gym some grace since it just barely opened and there's still so much to improve on. I can see that the staff (kudos!) are doing their best, especially now they have their full hours. There are also lots of bouldering routes now, beginner friendly ones, too, that are technical, and not just the ladder-like type ones which I think is great if you want to grow as a climber. I also liked their yoga class and they have new quality mats and equipment! I just wish the studio had mirrors so you can see your form. Their regular gym is spacious and bright as well. Their restrooms are well-maintained and the cubicle doors have good privacy (number 2-friendly! Lol) I like how they try to bring people together by having different kinds of event. If you wanna climb hard and try more routes, their other branches are accessible, but I believe that this is enough to get your daily grind and that's what matters. It just really depends on your preference.

The owner is as kind, humble, and genuine as they come. People have been recommending this studio to me and I finally found out why. As far as classes, I love that they offer a 'Restorative' class that many other studios overlook. If you're really stressed out, sore, lower back pain, upper middle back and shoulder and/or neck tightness. Give the 'Restorative' class a try. It's also not super hot in that class. I talked to everyone a little longer after class, and I've hear from friends they have really good vinyasa flow too. I do a TON of yoga, and my first experience at this studio was genuinely exceptional. The owner made such a difference in my Sunday for the better. That's why you're reading such a long review. Barre3 is a fitness studio with a few locations and I happen to have a location in Laguna Niguel in…read morethe same plaza as Whole Foods. I had meetings in the area so I used my classpass app to book a Barre3 class. When I arrived to the studio, their front desk and day care staff were both waiting outside since one of them had forgotten their key. We were unable to get into the studio until the instructor came in. This means less time to settle in before class. Per the first timer usual, there was a waiver to sign for the studio. This waiver was on paper and lengthier than standard. I prefer the more efficient digital waivers and it would be more efficient to fill this out prior to class, like other studios on classpass can do. They have lockers but I'm not a fan on the size of their lockers. It was tall but not wide. Not good for fitting my purse. I had to rearrange my belongings. For all the parents out here, you would love that they have a child care area which services you can reserve ahead of time. I don't have kids so I don't care too much for this feature. Also their parents had to take them to the restrooms before class started so I was unable to use the restroom before class. The studio was cutely decorated. These extra touches... I also don't care too much for but I imagine some folks enjoy it. I like that the studio space was wide at first but upon entering the studio I immediately felt the graininess of their floor. It was a cork like tile that might be old or not placed down well to begin with because you can feel the transition between tiles. Not smooth like the wood flooring or carpet. Also my feet were clean when I came in but all dirty upon my exit. Our instructor for the class was Jessica and she was nice, positive spirited, high energy throughout the class. She kept shouting out instructions and motivating us throughout class. Props to her for being able to speak the whole time while mostly doing the work out with us also. Unfortunately I didn't feel like the work out was intense enough. The Barre3 classes combine barre, pilates and yoga concepts but most of their classes are 45 minute formats with a few 60 minute classes. The 45 minute class was not intense enough for me and I felt like a lot of that time was the warm up and end of work out stretch. The one nice thing is that after class Jessica asked us to set aside our equipment to the front and that the studio would take care of cleaning it. That saved me a bit of time to finally be able to use the restroom and run off to my next meeting for the day. Even if Barre3 was more local to me, I would still choose other work outs over this one.

The check in process was very easy and the front desk staff was very welcoming. The class itself used a mat, ball, light hand weights (5lbs) a booty band and the ballet barre. Every move was shown with a modification for the complete newb to the advanced. As I looked around the room, I noticed so many different types of women were taking the class and I think that is so cool. It's easy on the joints and yet you will still sweat and feel the burn.

This was my second full yoga class in my life…read more I took one a week ago and on that Saturday 8/16 felt out of sync, a spectator and wanted to quit at the 26 and 34 minute mark. I did finish that hour long class but not till today, till I experienced Corepower Yoga Mission Viejo's 11 am Community Flow with heat did I get excited, understand it better, connect with what the stellar teacher Danica was saying, moved better, was pumped , was happier and loved the entire 60 plus minutes of sweat and movement. I loved that Danica repeated " at your own pace and do move as far as you can for eg; She was so authentic and kind. She spoke from the heart and connected the class's theme and message to real life using her own example. This stiff 405 pound bench pressing, 1/2 marathon and 5 K running, 3 hours of racquetball playing wanna be muscle head moron found himself starting to get the leg up in certain positions, actually touch my toes without screaming , move better with the stretching and the heat. I felt the crunches today. I mean having a leg up and then going across with the hand behind the head left to right and vice versa was work but lovely! I am hooked. I loved this. The studio was beautiful. They had cleaning supplies and ample wipes visibly available. The lobby area was clean and inviting. The men's locker room was modern with showers and nice lockers. This CPY location has showers (approx. 6 stalls), restrooms, and a small store selling yoga wear in the front. You have to bring your own yoga mat, towel, and water bottle when you come, but they also rent them (yoga mat is $4, towel is $2 i think) at the front. Set in a slightly heated room, it's a combination of CP2, but with weights. CPY ranks this class as an advanced class with medium heat. During this class, we focused on full body (exercises like static lunges, squat to shoulder press, planks, etc.) and also held vinyasa flow poses with weights. I really enjoyed how it was progressively more challenging each time we returned to a sequence. The instructor (Wendy Black) was really energetic and had an upbeat playlist, which was perfect for the class type. I'm glad to have tried this class, and I'll definitely try this format out again!
