Pretty good for afternoon snack and drinks with friends. I ordered pineapple green tea with green apple jelly. I asked for zero sugar. The cashier told me it's already sweet. Yes it was. So, it's a little sweet. It's perfect. The pineapple flavor tasted artificial and the jelly was hard to suck them through the thick straw. I like my drinks to be on the sweeter side. I don't really stray from honey green tea with extra honey. I think I have never had a drink here with my preferred level of sweetness even if I told them I wanted 150% sweet. This last time it was like 50-75% sweet at most other places. A very out of the box review for me to travel a good amount of distance but could not help myself for a special event to celebrate the 3 year anniversary of Seng Seng Cafe. I made it a goal to visit the business because it all lined up nicely, my birthday week, weekend end of the month and a Lion dance to celebrate. But first initial walk in, I was very surprised. It is spacious and seating is well spread out and was greeted by the co-owner. I was not very sure what to pick but decided to get 4 drinks: Earl grey milk tea, strawberry cream blend, electric lemonade and strawberry matcha latte. I did not have an opportunity to try them all but the strawberry cream blend was great in flavor and the right amount of sweetness. Also the ear grey milk tea is balanced in flavor as well. Both had boba, right texture and chewiness. Overall it was a very unexpected and surprisingly great experience. I say this because I am more local to the Chinatown area where it is very concentrated for boba shops. Seng Seng cafe will be a stand out for me from both the friendly staff and also the owner Mr. Seng for asking while I wait for the lion dance performance, would I like to have my drinks to be kept in their fridge? It maybe something very small of a gesture but it is memorable. I just wished Seng Seng was not a distance for me but I would heavily consider another trip to visit again if I find myself in the area. Congratulations again for your anniversary! read more

Trying to find a good restaurant/drink place for a quick bite on my long roadtrip and found this on Yelp. Did not disappoint and glad I came! It is located on 1960 between Walters Rd & TC Jester Blvd. Not difficult to find since it's right in the center in a big plaza. Huge shared parking lot so parking is no issue. Came on a Thursday evening and did not have to wait at all. Ordered the Oolong tea to get maximum caffeine for the road as well as the popcorn chicken plus the sweet potato fries. The Oolong tea is on point with amazing flavor. Popcorn chicken is very well made and piping hot, crispy basal leaves and tender meat. The sweet potato fries are also extremely flavorful. Couldnt leave the house so i chose to have something delivered. I Ordered two passionfruit and cream drinks, one with mango jellies. They were delicious!! I also thought the sound of stuffed crab claws sounded really good as a snack. Let me say I was VERY disappointed. Tastless Imitation crab rolled around a small crab claw, battered and fried. Typically when you call something stuffed, it has something inside. PIease remove the word stuffed from your menu, that is very misleading. I'll stick to the drinks. read more

Lovely Vietnamese goodies, Banh Mi and drinks, and exactly the kind of little cafe that you hope for when you're up here in North Golden Sun Plaza close to Cypress, Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball and Jersey Village. It's along 1960, where they have a lot of good food and good cafes. This one is unheralded and not a lot of people know about it, but we like to stop in here whenever we can because Barbi thinks they have some of the better Viet sandwiches and snacks in the Northtowns, and Vietnamese coffees here (Cafe Sua Da) are excellent. She gets along well with the girl that usually serves her. I agree the food and drinks are awesome here. And I totally agree that the service is really nice too. read more

Pictured here is this black sugar boba and the galaxy lemonade, both were delicious in their own ways. The boba was chewy and the the coffee was great. The lemonade was so refreshing on a hot day! I only bought calamari because I saw on the reviews that it was good, and they were huge! They're the biggest ones I've ever seen, the size of onion rings. The sauce that it comes with is great too.
