Came in around 9:40 am. The place was dark and looked shabby. Still decided to give this place a try because you can't judge a book by its covers. Should have walked out... The lady who was working, was sitting on the sofa, listening to her phone. I came in and she got up and turned on the tv which had the menu. I placed my order and waited. And waited. And waited. It took forever. The scene from behind the counter was bad. Did not clean. Things looked unorganized and just plain messy. The lady finally had my drink ready. I took one sip and it was awful. Just horrible. The "barista" offered to fix it so I gave her my drink. This is the part that ticked me off... The straw which I had put my mouth on, she removed it when her hand and kept it on the coffee machine. That same straw, she picked it up- after attempting to fix my drink- and was about to place it back into my drink. I told her that I am suppose to be getting a new straw. Got my new straw and took another sip. It was crap again. At this point, I just wanted to get out. Got out, and tossed the drink. A lot of changes need to happen here before I come back. read more

A Christian ladies group that I am a part of used this business for an event on Saturday November 1st. We paid to have the entire coffee shop closed for the private event. Our decorations spruced up the place but it is really shoddy and run down. We had to do it a lot to make it acceptable. Furthermore, I have never in my life been treated so abominably or abusively by any business owner. The racism and sexism was intolerable. The owner kicked out my group before our time was up, ranted and raved, cursed, and gave the middle finger to several of the ladies. There's never any reason to treat customers the way we were treated and he ruined our event. I hope that nobody patronizes this awful business. You've been warned. read more

We took a trip to the Spring area to check out used bookstores. Saw this interesting coffee shop & decided to stop by. The owner was a very friendly young man that made us two of the best frappes that we have had in a long time. They also have hot coffees, americanos & more. What a nice surprise. Passed this up for a year and then decided to just stop by and read. The owner is very friendly and the place has hosted events, a Nintendo 64 with 007 Goldeneye, Halo, painting parties, and baked goods. They have a legit espresso machine and good prices. The mom-and-pop sentiment here is strong. Very personable place, when you first get to the puerta, it's like you're walking through a kiddy playground with the chalk painting on the sidewalk and then on the next step you have been transferred to somebody's living room that has a coffee bar into it. Not really easy to find unless you are really looking for it, I believe it's across some kind of school but it's a strip center so don't blink or. You fast when looking for it. Very clean place. There are a bunch of soap was here to sit down as well as some comfortable bean bags which I would imagine one could almost fall asleep in. The walls are painted with trees on them and there is a television to watch. Free WiFi here especially if you have Xfinity it automatically connects to you your device. The menu is kind of small but who wants to choose out of a thousand items, keep it simple stupid. I came in all sluggish (allergy meds) and Newton made me a Carmel Macadamia latte and it was so bomb. It went from sluggish to perked up and ready to start my day in no time. Nice little spot; came here for a birthday painting with a twist for my cousin. It was a somewhat confusing to find since I was looking for a sign advertising that they did the painting classes, but all I found was the coffee shop. I ended up having to put two & two together to figure it out. Inside is really snazzy, nice lounge chairs and games to play to kill time if one partook in the drinks and snacks. I however did not since I was just expecting a BYOB painting class, and I had already eaten. Im giving 3 stars (would give 3 1/2 if I could) because it was kinda hot. Initially I thought it was just me, but others in our group said the same. The instructor was cool and helpful. The store owner was quiet and just smiled and watched. Overall we had fun; it was a nice intimate setting for just us girls. The unhatched instructor even played songs at our request, so that was nice. O.M.G. So I was minding my business one Saturday afternoon, going to the local park with bestie to walk, when a lady gave us a flyer for Klein Coffee Lounge. I just had some trash coffee from some other place so we both immediately went. The place is amazing! Ok, so the ambiance is soooo zen! I immediately went into a happy place. Its so cozy and welcoming! The owner, Newton spent a great amount of time chatting with us and made us the MOST amazing fraps! It trumps St-----ks which was our current fav. This is going to be my new hangout spot for the summer. I am already planning some writing sessions in my head. Hidden gem! My husband and I stopped in on a whim and were pleasantly surprised to see a high-end Lavazza espresso machine. The person working suggested the cappuccino so I tried it, it was fantastic! No sugar or chocolate needed. They use a specific coffee bean that gives a soft and creamy mouth feel. My husband ordered an Americano with an extra shot and was more than happy with it. I recommend staying at the shop to enjoy your brew, coffee tastes so much better served in ceramic than a paper/plastic to-go cup. Service: Friendly and helpful Ambiance: Very chill. I have just had the strangest, not to mention most offensive, experience this afternoon at Klein Coffee. I walked in to get a cup of coffee and get about an hour of work done - the store was completely empty of customers. I was immediately accosted by the man behind the counter about coming in to sell him something. I told him that "No, I was just here for a cup of coffee and to work." I then ordered a black cup of coffee - to which he complained about "just getting coffee." When asked if I wanted room for cream, I told him just artificial sugar - which he then started telling me how bad it was for me. Finally, I got my coffee and logged on to get some work done. After a few minutes, he asked if my internet was working - which it was. Then, he announced that he was shutting the store down to fix the Comcast signal. As I collected my laptop to head out, he starts haranguing me about my sunglasses and car. Even as I sit and type this, he comes out and asks why I'm still here. I have no idea who this is or what medications he is taking, but this is my last visit here. read more

Found this little place on yelp. The owner is very nice. They have a regular Nintendo. I don't know if anyone that attends Klein high school would know what it is, but it was a nice surprise, she let me try to take the controllers and set it up to play but couldn't figure it out. Large tv, some couches, bean bag chairs, great chill music playing to set the mood and the coffee was good too. Only thing was was with the menu. Just by going off of what was posted, you wouldn't know they did iced drinks, though it's probably safe to assume they do iced drinks. I asked and they do iced drinks and she mentioned they needed to adjust the menu to show that. Hopefully the next time I go in, or when any of you go, you can get your old school Mario on and take some pictures to post it. read more

Great coffee spot! I happened upon Klein Coffee while I was in the neighborhood and figured I would rather give my business to a locally owned business than a big chain. So happy I did! The coffee was fantastic and I had a nice conversation with the owner (great guy!). Really nice, open space with several places to sit or do some work if you need to. I love trying new coffee shops / cafes whenever I have the opportunity. This is a really cute and unique place! There are beautiful paintings on the wall from their paint nights (ask the owner about them!), the drinks are delicious (I've only tried the cafe mocha with coconut flavoring and chocolate on top, but wow!) They've got lounging areas, a couple of tables, ports to plug into (if you're into working in coffee shops). I had a iced coconut vanilla cold brew and it was really good. A touch sweet but the flavors were really strong which I liked. There was no doubt that it was a coconut coffee. Ok so I've seen this place open up by my ortho office and I never got around to trying it. So glad I did though!! It's like this cute cafe style coffee shop you find downtown, but in the middle of spring tx. Came here with half of the debate team and it was an amazing place to just hang out. I ordered an iced americano with almond milk, less sugar, and a shot of caramel that was only $3.75. This is wayyyy better than Starbucks, because the coffee itself taste so good.
