I've been to Bambu a few times, and unfortunately the experience has been really inconsistent. The first visit was great, which is why I came back. But on a later visit, the customer service was disappointing. The employee taking our order was distracted and chatting with coworkers, and our order was entered incorrectly. When we politely pointed it out, there was no effort to fix the mistake or even acknowledge it--just pushback and a lack of professionalism. Another visit closer to closing time was even more frustrating. The floor had just been mopped with no warning sign, which is a safety concern. When we tried to order, we were told multiple items were already put away, and it felt like we were inconveniencing them just by being there--even though it was still well before closing. Overall, the atmosphere feels unwelcoming at times, and the customer service doesn't match what you'd expect. It's disappointing because the drinks themselves are good, but the experience makes it hard to want to come back. read more

Always know what you'll get here-- pretty good variety of Che, coconut drinks/dessert, and recently I realized they have sugarcane drinks. It can be on the sweeter side, but if you grew up eating Che, this is a pretty solid place to pick some up if you want dessert! It's tucked away in a little parking plaza, but once you know where it is, it's hard to forget! There are some tables and sofa area for seating, but every time I've gone in there's hardly anyone that stays to eat there although you certainly can. #6 drinks were great. The tarp balls not so much. Seems a bit stale/ not fresh. We did come later ate night, so maybe it was sitting out all day? I'd say it's not worth it for $1 per ball when stale. A good selection of teas and desserts. I've tried a few different things and they've all been good so far. I love the waffles. They come out warm and chewy. Both the taro and pandan flavors are great. The service has always been friendly. Order usually only take a few minutes. They have board games you can play at your table while you wait or if you eat there. So far, all the times I've been, there's been maybe a couple other people there, but never packed or crowded. I give it 1 star for packaging and trying to say it's real Thai tea but it was just orange die with powdered creamer you get from members mark brand it should renamed as the orange creamery boba drink , if you do a blind taste test basically you can only taste tapioca starch with a cheaper version of instant Thai tea mix, nice try girls they hire here think we could be fooled with your statement that was why you never handed a receipt for your false advertising "real Thai tea version stay clear and stick with only the beans dessert because they are no experts at putting your boba drinks together. When I asked where was the taro that was supposed to be in it, the lady who made it came out of the kitchen and argued that everything is made with taro so it's in there by default. They take their time making your drink (took several minutes for mine--good!) and I have a feeling they don't waste many edible ingredients. I got the Lime Berry smoothie and it kinda tasted like they blended the lime rind as well. I wasn't even mad; it was delicious! Very clean establishment. And quite comfortable, surprisingly. They have a few futons set up (as couches, not beds) with tables and they have games in the corner. When I visited, there were a few people drinking their drinks and playing Uno. I always go here during the day and always enjoy the taste of a fresh mango smoothie that tastes like REAL mango and was expecting to get the same flavor tonight, yet here we are. I was excited to find this place on Yelp because Bambu is popular in California, so I knew it had to be good. It was a 15 minute drive from where I was coming from, but worth it. My GPS wasn't working correctly so I was sent across the street where Dominos Pizza is. Bambu is in the same plaza as the Asian Supermarket and the Jimmy Chan. Nice and clean little shop. There's several tables so you can dine in or take out. They have a large menu so there's something for every taste bud - milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, coffees, and desserts. I've visited this place a few times. Pretty unassuming in a shopping center they do not fit it. Upon entry, the place is very open and inviting with bright colors. The menu options can be a bit daunting if you are not familiar with the culture. I attempted to make a concoction and get a strange look, like "are you sure"? Immediately, I know to ask questions. My visit to Bambu has turned into a semi-ritual each time I am having to work in Spring, TX. It's not good for me, but it's SOOOOOOO good on a warm day or after a stressful day where I just need "something" to get back ITL (inside the loop). The staff is super nice here. Since I can't have regular milk products, I know that takes out most of the menu, I go for a smoothie. They are able to replace the regular milk with coconut milk, and it's delicious! Due to my mind need for control, typeA personality, OCD, or whatever you want to call it, I've decided to try every smoothie on the board. If you want to calculate how many times I've been to Bambu, the last drink I had was Lime Berry (I've had all the others prior in the Smoothie list). I love this place, and I recently got a "loyalty" card, but I forgot to use it last time. Oh well, more delicious smoothies for me in the near future!! read more

I love that this place is very close to me. The guy is very nice, and i've talked to him a few times but there is a language barrier. They usually have some Vietnamese show or movie playing which doesn't really bother me since they have free wifi. I usually go, order my drink and just hang out for a while. Finally a clean and delicious tapioca spot up north! Drinks and desserts are so flavorful and they are not stingy with quantity! The tapioca is well made and not powdery/chalky like other tapioca spots. I usually get jasmine milk tea with tapioca and it's always had just the right amount of sweetness.
