After getting my bill with a 20% service charge on it for a $35.00 dinner with no signage. When I questioned where it was noted they admitted it was no where posted. Then they proceed to tell me that the 20% is 10% for the server and 10% for the rest of the staff. 20% is ok for my server who makes less than minimum wage but to give a tip to the kitchen and management is unacceptable. Tortillas were not hot, refried beans were too salty to eat, no salsa or chips served. Salsa was extra $3 and so bad we couldn't even eat it. 20% tip automatically included or I'm sure the waitstaff would quit as nobody would tip this poorly run establishment. She did correct this issue but by the time his new order came out everyone else's was cold. We never received a refill. We didn't even see our waitress. It wasn't overly busy and I saw her frequent all her other tables frequently and regularly. The portion sizes on kids meals. they get like four potato wedges. I think this is a one and done for us. Eat there at your own risk. Oh and for those who have loved ones who are overwhelmed by loud sounds, make sure to bring ear coverings or maybe pick somewhere else. It's extremely loud. read more

The food was good so no complaints there but it was extremely overpriced! They bring you a small bowl with about 10 chips and about a half cup of salsa for free. If you want more chips and salsa it is $15! I ordered the mahi-mahi tacos which comes with 3 rather small tacos with a little mahi-mahi on them. If I wanted rice and beans with my tacos it was an additional $5.99. I also ordered the corn ribs which were delicious but you get 4 ribs which equals a medium size corn on the cob and they were $11! My Husband got a chicken and cheese quesadilla and it was good but nothing spectacular. Our bill including a $12 tip was close to $100! The service was great and the $15 salsa was really good but I can get really good chips and salsa for free at just about any Mexican restaurant. There are a lot of funny tags on some chairs and the lighting and decorations was nice but could be a little much for some people. Now like most popular beach side eateries in tourist towns this is a pricey establishment. However the vibe and the food itself here make it worth it. Me and my entire family of 7 all had a fun time. Loud music boasting popular hits from the 80s and 90s sets a party like vibe as well. My 1 year old was grooving and dancing the entire time. The wife and I started off with a Caribbean daiquiri that came In the huge souvenir cups. It had a nice kick and great flavor. Entree wise being such a large party we sampled the menu well. We got the kids cheeseburger, kids quesadilla, Grilled chicken burrito and my oldest got the very cool looking Pineapple shrimp legit served in a open face pineapple. My personal entree of the Grilled chicken burrito was very good and had nice flavor. My only wish is if they would of had a more traditional salsa to dip it in. Everyone else loved there meals as well. My oldest was in love with her pineapple shrimp. Not only did it look cool she said it tasted great. Overall a pricey but very fun, vibrant and tasty place with good service. The oldest two also loves there merch stand and talked us into buying them both shirts as souvenirs. read more

Reminiscent of our visit to SF's in Playa Del Carmen back in 2005. SF offers a mix of Mexican dishes, typical bar food and has a well stocked bar. We sat in the back area with a superb view of the Gulf of Mexico. Our server was Ms. Lily and she took good care of us. The natcho platter was so large that we had to take 1/2 of it with us. We seated ourselves in a corner table then waited for a long time for someone to wait on us. We got waters - no free chips and salsa. we ordered when the water arrived. Ordered supreme nachos, mahi mahi tacos and enchiladas. Food delivered-no silverware. Got silverware and one set was two knives . Asked for additional silverware. Food was mediocre at best. Waiter didn't check on us. Had to stop him to ask for more water. When check came, automatic 20% service fee added. $72 for nachos, mahi mahi tacos and enchiladas plate. Just another franchise that doesn't care if you come back or not. We won't. Lots of other places to try in PCB. read more

Well, here I am in Panama City Beach, Florida, looking to enjoy a nice meal. Against my better judgment, I decided to eat Mexican food instead of seafood. I should have listened to my better judgment. I ordered the corn ribs to start. They were EXCELLENT! The chipotle ranch dip was fantastic! So I'm thinking, let's keep the momentum going. Good so far. I ordered the rib/chicken/shrimp combo. Oops! No bueno. The ribs and chicken were bone dry. Some of the meat on the chicken was so tough I couldn't eat it. The ribs were stuck to the bone. Even the sauce didn't moisten it. The shrimp, so over done it would've bounced if I had dropped it. On a positive note, the order came with grilled corn, cole slaw and wedge fries. The corn was tasteless. Nothing sweet about it at all. The fries and slaw were good but not nearly enough to redeem this disaster of a meal. That's $25 I'll never see again. I started to order a margarita, but I asked the table next to me if they could taste the alcohol. They said, "NOPE!" So that was money saved. I guess the moral of the story is this: don't order non-Mexican food at a Mexican food joint. And I need to start listening to my better judgment more often. The service was so-so. Not very attentive, but did check on the table a few times. Over all... just barely 2 stars for the corn ribs and slaw. And that's really being generous. read more

Should have known by the fact that there was only 2-3 people in there since people had gotten up and LEFT, Was in there and people were getting up and leaving should have been my clue that the place was no good, so moving forward, the cheese dip tasted like it came out of a cardboard box. the rice and beans, the beans were so greasy there was grease sitting on the beans, BAD BAD place needs to be SHUT DOWN. everywhere else we went while on vacation was STANDING ROOM only except every time we passed by this place.
