Chili relleno are my favorite I've ever had. Great hot salsa and loved the cheese dip. Fast and fun place.

We stopped here while traveling; it was a bit off the interstate but we were looking for something more than fast food. The restaurant was older looking although clean inside. We got seated promptly and given our complementary chips and salsa. I ordered a chicken fajita burrito that came out hot and was very good. My husband ordered a chicken quesadilla which he enjoyed. I had lunch at this restaurant on a whim. Upon entering it appeared to be very well maintained and they had plenty of staff. I was handed a menu that was full of amazing entrees and photos. Dishes I've not seen before and so many options. It took me a long time to decide. I finally opted for the Gorditos Texas. Man! Talk about amazing! It had steak, chicken and shrimp perfectly seasoned and well cooked. Will definitely return to discover the many other delectable items on the menu! My wife and child visited the other day for lunch. The staff were nice. After sitting down, we were quickly taken care of. After ordering the food, the meals came quickly. Shortly afterward, the check came and that was the last we saw from anyone. We were there for another 20 mins and no one came to refill our drinks or check in on us. read more

We love this place. Service is great. They have a chicken salad that is my favorite. It's chopped, seasoned chicken on a bed of lettuce with steamed broccoli, drizzled with cheese. Terrible service. The host just sat our menus on the table without seating us. The server was slow. I ordered a chicken and shrimp fajita. I've NEVER seen a fajita that wasn't sizzling...mine was cold and nasty. The server said it wasn't his fault because he didn't know the food had been in the window for a long time. I ordered and then waited 45 minutes. I spoke with a second waitress about my order. The first waitress came back to give an excuse about other parties. Waitress number 2 returned to say my order would be right out. The 2nd waitress then brought out some food that was not what I ordered. I ate a little of the food, paid and left. This was the only poor experience I have had at a Mexican restaurant in 50+ years of life, so there is that. A one hour wait for the wrong order and a disappearing waitress is probably not worth the one star that Senior Garcia is getting. read more

We almost walked out but were glad we didn't. The menus were sticky and dirty, and the salsa tasted like the can it came in. The only reason we did not leave was our friendly, sweet server. She steered us toward two entrees- the seafood fajitas and the shrimp Diablo. Both were very good, though the Diablo was hot enough to take a layer of skin off. The fajitas were excellent and big enough to share. My husband used my fajita filling to damp down the fire of the Diablo, and that worked perfectly. This restaurant is doing itself a disservice on the first impressions front, but made up for it with good food and great service. read more
