I am currently dealing with their "Client Concierge team", 2 to be exact for the past 2 days now regarding a ripped pipping by the tongue area of the mini maestra bag and it is now splitting (see photos). The original price of a mini maestra a is $695. I purchased this bag during their revival sale for $521 during April of last year and only been gently using it. I was offered to bring the bag into a local cobblers to have the item fixed with a reimbursement as the company does not have anyone who could fix it. I find this clearly inconvenient to consumers. After multiple emails, they finally admitted it was a defected item therefore a reimbursement repair was offered to me. If an item is defected, shouldn't the company replace it? Not to mention, the company changed their "lifetime warranty" to "2-year limited warranty". I was also told that revival items does not fall under any warranty as they are only making an exception for me. So does this mean the company purposely sells defective items to consumers at a small discounted price? The brand claimed to be "made in Italy, handcrafted by artisans". This makes me wonder, If any cobblers could do the repair job, then why the hefty price tag? I do think it is generous for Senreve to offer me a reimbursement repair. However, it definitely devalues the brands. In one of the emails-you could see that they knew how much the repair was going to be. This makes me wonder this may not be the first time they have came across this defects. If you are considering buying this brand. BUYER BEWARE. This company's customer service has really gone down hill recently. I own two bags from Senreve - one Maestra and one Aria. Recently, I reached out about replacing the strap on my Maestra bag which they do for $95 + shipping + tax, and it has taken 2 months from my first outreach to getting the replacement strap. Cheng from client services is SLOW to respond and take forever reviewing the details of my request. After 2 months, they sent me the WRONG COLOR strap. I made sure to confirm with them the color they're shipping but a totally different color arrived. After telling them they made a mistake, they are now requesting that I first return the incorrect strap before they're willing to ship the correct one...adding even more delay to this ordeal. Please Note: This review is for the Forest Green Doctor Bag that I got earlier this year!! I have been using my Doctor Bag religiously since I first received it in the mail about 6 months ago. The bag is very durable and well-made and has traveled with me to different cities across the nation, withstanding both rain and shine. With each wear, the straps of the bag get softer and more comfortable! It's rare to say that a bag ages well, but the leather really does on the Doctor Bag! I typically use the bag on a weekend trip out or even to carry and store my gym clothes and rock climbing gear. The long shoulder sling strap is adjustable for length as well for people of all heights and sizes. I think what I love the most about the doctor bag are the front and back pouches that allow for easy access storage like tissues/napkins, earphones, and phone because it saves you the hassle of zipping and unzipping the bag. Even though those pockets do not have a snap, button, or zipper, they are fairly deep and secure, so I feel very comfortable putting my phone in it. A lot of great new colors for the Doctor Bag have rolled out since I got mine, and I am tempted to buy the Cream, Blush, or Ice colors! read more

I don't even know where to start! I honestly can't say enough positive things about Senreve! I was introduced to them through Instagram and I thought the bags were fun but pretty pricey for a relatively simple design. Unfortunately my first bag didn't make feel all the things but I was able to exchange it for the Dragon Aubergine color and that's when I fell in love. Well actually before. To not make this super lengthy, I will say that I have now secured 3 bags with this brand and 2 needed an exchange for a different color. I probably had the most interactions with Kay but everyone was just phenomenal. My latest bag is the Mini in Mimosa Chili and that was a whole experience but once she arrived, I was STUNNED!!! The color is perfect and usually things look better online, but this was the reverse. This bag is a jaw dropper!!! I can't wait to break it out! If you're on the fence with this brand, do it!!! What backpack style handbag fits flush up against the back? I've owned a few other brands and they don't. I did order from big name retail store, bag had slight issue and store was sold out. Updated: I was offered to return for a full refund and I repurchase a new one. Hopefully I had bad luck with the previous one and the new one would be fine. I will update if anything I'm so sad and disappointed. I wanted the aria bag for some time and my husband surprised me with a brand new one for my early birthday gift. It was purchased online but when I received it, I noticed marking on both side of the front stress points but it wasn't bad. Three weeks later and I only used it 4 times, one side of the stress point rubbed raw and I didn't rub it against anything. It was mainly in the dust bag which I think may be the contributing cause because the material on that dust bag is not soft and kinda rough. I contacted customer service only to hear back that it's not covered under warranty because I rubbed it against something rough which is not true. I would say 3.5 starts overall, wish Yelp would let us do half stars. After seeing Senreve all over social media, I was curious enough to make a trek to SF and see the bags in person. Here's a quick summary of my thoughts: Pros: 1. Customer service is great. They are responsive, helpful, friendly, do a good job making you feel welcome, etc. I think they have free shipping, returns, so that's all a plus. 2. Lots of beautiful colors, various types of leather (pebbled, mimosa, dolce, croc-embossed). 3. Living in silicon valley, I can appreciate the hustle of a start-up. I can see the hard work and grit they've put in to grow the company into a brand in just a few years. 4. Nice vegan leather bags and accessories. Sounds like they have more of this in the works, so I'm excited to see what the new items will look and feel like. 5. They have special sales on display bags and offer promotions throughout the year. Cons: 1. Some of their bags are multi-purpose, so they can be used as a: crossbody/shoulder bag/backpack or a clutch/belt bag/sling bag. The versatility is great for some people, but sometimes when you do lots of things a little bit well, you don't excel in any one design. 2. I find the signature opening/closure of the bags to be fussy. Again, some may say it makes the bag more secure, but I would personally not want to flip a tab, pull another tab away from a magnet and then up, pull up a flap, (potentially unzip another compartment), just to get to my items. 3. The sizing: there are mini bags and larger bags, not much in the small-medium size front. I'd love to see more bags in this space. 4. Pricing. They have priced themselves to be in between a contemporary brand and a luxury brand. I noticed they have already had price increases; for example, a wallet has recently increased from $95 to $115. 5. Not a true con, more of a question, as I'm not super clear on their target audience. Overall, my favorite item in the was actually a prototype bag. It was a larger version of a cross between the aria and coda bags. They could consider shortening the length, slightly increasing the depth, and attaching a top handle that slides flat. I'm interested in seeing what the future holds and hoping they can focus a bit of their attention from the growth curve to design and R&D. read more

I own a marine mini Maestra. I love the color and the quality of the bag. I honestly think the material is the highest in quality (I own bespoke leather bags from Italy and LOVE companies with a deep commitment to craftsmanship). I do not enjoy wearing brands that everyone else wears and considering the quality, Senreve bags are affordable. Whenever I wear my mini Maestra, I get a lot of compliments and questions regarding the bag; I believe they are curious about the brand since Senreve is fairly new. While I absolutely love the quality of my mini Maestra, the bag itself is not the most practical for business use. Unfortunately, the bag tilts while you wear it and the metal clasp does not close easily (the metal should be larger so that you can quickly & simply clasp it). So the bag stays open (when you are in a rush) tilted, which is not the most ideal situation. If you are the type of person who zips up the bag and rarely open it throughout the day, it'll be fine. Another problem I had with the bag was how the strap fell several times while I was wearing the bag. Recently I went into the pop up shop at Nordstroms, Senreve reps informed me how my bag is missing a loop that surrounds the long strap, making the bag fall easily. I emailed Senreve and received immediate support. Even when you hold the handle of the bag, the bag tilts. I wish I was able to read honest and realistic reviews from real consumers (not sponsored fashion bloggers) before purchasing the bag. I was thinking of purchasing the Maestra for work but I am not very convinced that it'll be a sturdy, practical and functional bag. I am still shopping for a high quality work bag! Update - I ended up getting the maestra and after unsung it less than 20 times, the front tab split -- it is simply glued, not stitched. Still love the idea of the bag an the style but serious design and quality flaws. One added design flaw - when carrying the bag on your forearm, the hardware on the back of the bag smashes against your leg. Add a 3lb laptop to the bag and walk thru and airport and I have bruises! Old review : I have to say that I loved the look of this bag but found it to be completely annoying. Got the large maestra and hated that I had to completely close it before grabbing the handle or risk everything spilling out. Also, handle opening is so small that it gets caught on my watch and I have to use two hands to get it off my wrist. Strap closure on front also requires two hands and I was constantly scratching myself on the zippers when reaching into the bag. Just completely not usable for someone like me who, especially when traveling, is reaching in to the bag frequently and can't take the time to ensure everything is fully 'locked down' before grabbing the bag. It's important to note that this was before she saw my review (I reached out to her myself via email). Even though she received my email out of the blue, she was immediately receptive to my issue and didn't hesitate to start the free repair process. I was incredibly relieved and happy to have my concerns addressed so warmly and efficiently. Unfortunately, when I received my repaired bag, there were some lingering issues with the straps. In the meanwhile, Wendy had read my review and reached out to me via Yelp. I let her know that I was the same person she spoke to earlier and had received my repaired bag but wasn't entirely happy. I was surprised and incredibly pleased when she wrote back and told me that she would send me a replacement bag. I truly get the impression from Wendy that this is a company and product that she cares deeply about and that her customers are of the utmost importance. The Senreve Maestra is the best bag I've ever owned. I been through Gucci to LV and by accident discovered Senreve and will never go back. First off the quality of the bag is amazing. Have seen these bags floating around social media for quite some time now, and finally decided to take the plunge and bought one for myself - and I must say, it was not overhyped at all!! I got the large Maestra bag in the Cream color and I was immediately impressed by the feel of the leather and the minimalist design. I ordered the bag a couple of months ago and it's still holding up really well. I'll admit that a white bag is a bit high-maintenance (I do see some dark marks sometimes) but I do wipe it a lot and it comes off easily (I usually use a make-up remover wipe). I've also walked through light rain with it without noticing any issues. I love wearing the bag as a backpack - super comfortable and spreads the weight nicely between my shoulders! The feet does scratch a little - but hey, at least the bag has feet unlike my Balenciaga City Bag or Celine Bucket Bag. AVOID!!!! I received the crossbody bag as a gift and it is slowly falling apart! The strap material is sooo cheap! While you can adjust the length, the holes get stretched out over time so every month you have to change which hole you will use for the strap. Otherwise, the strap will fall apart and you'll end up losing your bag. I reached out for a replacement and then wanted to CHARGE ME $95 FOR A STRAP!!!!!!!!! Plus $25 shipping. Senreve ruined Christmas. I spent several weeks in Oct/Nov researching their brand for a Christmas gift. Everything looked great and I ended up ordering a Maestra in late November. The website says delivery in 5 - 9 business days. After a week without any update, I contacted customer service to ask when the order would ship. I was assured that my order would ship within a few days. I kept contacting them about every other day for the next two weeks, each time the response was the same "we're shipping it now, and we'll update you asap."
