Will never use this company again! Install of a preowned tub went fairly well. First repair, a ten dollar part, less than an hour to repair and seasonal supplies, a six hundred dollar charge. Second repair, a pump and filter change and another six hundred dollar charge. Should have filed multiple complaints but chose instead to never deal with this business again! read more

My Dad passed away and I went out of town. After the long drive back I just wanted to jump in my hot tub and relax. When I opened up the cover my tub was at 46 degrees!!! I called Sensational and they sent Travis and his crew. Travis went way beyond expectations and did an awesome job saving the day my week and my tub before it froze. He also gave me tips for if this happens again! It's Five Stars for Travis in Service and Jeff in Sales as well as Troy as ALL were in communication the entire time. BEWARE!!! I moved into a house with a hot tub in 2009. When I tried to fill the tub, it leaked. I called "Sensational Spas" to come out and look. They came out when I was not around and gave me a call to give me the report. According to them, it could not be fixed at my house. They would need to send out a truck, at my expense, bring it into their shop, and there was an outside chance they could fix it. Most likely the would not be able to fix it, and I would need to pay them about $300 disposal fee. My brother in law, who has no spa experience but is handy, visited the next weekend. He took off the side in about ten seconds, diagnosed the problem (a crack in the draining PVC pipe) in about five more, and fixed it with plumber's putty in five minutes. More than a year later and I am still enjoying the hot tub. Stay far, far away from "Sensational Spas" unless you wish to pay $300 for them to take your hot tub, after which I imagine they will be perfectly willing to sell it back to you after a five-minute repair. read more

This is the worst customer service I have ever received in my whole entire life. They had an agreement to open my pool in the beginning of the season came in May took the winter cover off. Did not return promising they would come and finish the job then at the end of July told me they were too busy to come back. Never use their services or purchase their pool supplies. read more

They've done a great job explaining the problems and fixing them with no surprises. As a small business owner myself, I often refer clients to them for their spa & pool needs. I would give a negative if i could! I scheduled an appointment for service and clearly stated the problem and the name and brand of the hot tub and they said yes they service those. I also told them i would be down the road at work and they said that is fine to just leave the door unlocked to where the hot tub is. So i did. They come in the morning, look at it and run it, even with it half full of water because i tried to get to a part myself, then leave. I never received a call that they were there or that they were leaving or any follow up. When i call to check on what is going on basically the guy tells me they wrote up a ticket for no charge for a "courtesy visit" because they don't service or cant get parts for the hot tub brand! Also they said it was empty so they couldn't test it...not true and i know for a fact they ran it and the hose is literally hanging next to it. I said well it would have been nice to receive a call or something notifying me that nothing was going to be done or that they left or what the issue even was! He said well what your telling me and what they wrote is different...so basically calling me a liar! This place and its workers are a joke! DO NOT GO HERE! A courtesy visit...for what...so angry and disappointed! So much for staying local and they said they wrote down an online place they recommend to order parts...well how would i be getting that recommendation with ZERO follow up! read more

This business serviced the rental home we rented on new years. We used the hot tub in a very normal and appropriate manner, once. They charged the owner of the property for many services which are uncalled for and seem to be more routine maintenance. We are now being asked to cover the charges. I do not recommend that anyone stay at a vrbo or air b and b that is serviced by them they are scamming the owners and passing it on to the renters read more

We have always had a great experience with Sensational Spas. We've purchased 2 hot tub covers in the past 10 years and they always come out, measure and provide a superior cover. Called Sensational about our hot tub not heating and within 24 hours they came by the house and checked it out. We didn't even need to be home. Determined that pine needles clogged the motor preventing it from heating. Cleaned it out and the hot tub heated right back up. Called to ask how much we owed and there was no charge. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. We will NEVER buy or deal with this company. We visited their show room yesterday, and their greeting was: "what is your address"? Not a hello, welcome to our store just a nasty request. We started to browse, and the salesperson came over and told us that we lived to far from their store (Niles, Michigan. 25 minutes away) they serve Buchanan which is 5 minutes away from Niles but not us, and then we were escorted to the door. We were not doing anything other than looking at their selection. We were shocked, and somewhat dumbfounded. Never in our lives have we been treated so badly for living just 5 minutes out of their service area. The only other question we were asked once again in a nasty tone was "have we looked for hot tubs in South Bend"... We did go to South Bend and bought a Hot Tub. If we could give ZERO or Negative stars we would. read more
