During open play, there is teacher-led music and play. Then the kids can run around the playroom for the rest of the session. There are houses, small toys (like trains, cars, dolls, action figures), ride in and ride on toys (tricycles, bikes, wagons, Lil Tikes big red car, roller coaster), a reading corner, and a tree house/slide combo that kids can climb and then slide down. The entire room is closed, so parents can sit in one place and still be able to keep watch on their kids. When you book a birthday party, you get the entire venue to yourself. You get 30 minutes for setup in addition to your session. Miss Karen helped with the balloon arch and the backdrop, which helps A LOT! I only had to bring in our food, desserts, and supplies, and everything came together seamlessly and quickly. She also curated a kid-friendly music playlist and set out toys that catered to our party theme: race cars! She really went above and beyond for welcoming our guests and making our party a success. I highly recommend bringing your little ones to K Peas Place. It's a wonderful place to bring your kids in inclement weather and need some time outside your house. I pulled her and put her in private school and my daughter never needed the IEP not to mention she is now making A's and B's, never made a grade as low as a C since she has been removed. Instead of demonstrating understanding or support, the director was condescending and dismissive. What was especially concerning was that she took it upon herself to diagnose my child as autistic based on her "20+ years of experience." I found this extremely inappropriate and unprofessional, as she is not a licensed medical professional and should not be labeling children in this way. As a parent, I was hoping for compassion, patience, and partnership in helping my child grow, especially since this was his first time attending daycare and he needed to adjust to social interactions. Instead, I left feeling judged and disheartened. I would not recommend Oak Crest Preschool to families who value inclusivity, empathy, and professional boundaries. I paid $225 for the registration and curriculum fee non-refundable, which I worked hard to afford, yet it was clear that the curriculum was never applied to support my child. After only 1 day, my child was judged without a fair chance.

From my experience I can say it is in a safe and convenient location and the owners daughter who was there when my last child was briefly enrolled is lovely to deal with but the actual owner and face of the facility is passive aggressive, and condescending at the very least. Every-time there was a request for anything she refused to accommodate it. For the cost it is not a deal and does not provide adequate services. My last child was attacked and this was the third time in three days, he was left with a deep scratch in his face that is now a permanent scar a year later. He also "fell" into a bookshelf that left possible fracture in his skull and permanent calcification and dent in his forehead. The doctor said it will Most likely never go away (happened 19 months ago) The first two requests on the injuries that had occurred previous to the serious one were dismissed despite my son telling me another kid hurt him. Additionally my son had a medical emergency (seizure) and requested to see footage per the doctors request and they refused to help me obtain this. Lastly to these isolated incidents, I have never felt more unwelcome in a place that I spent thousands and thousand of dollars at. We have switched to a different preschool and it is like day and night compared to Oak Crest, I didn't realize until i switched how terrible my experience over a 4 year period actually was. They really could improve how they treat staff and families and ultimately the care they provide kids.

It took a great deal of courage for him to speak up, and instead of taking his concerns seriously, the administration did the exact opposite. When I brought this to the principal's attention, I was met with excuses, dismissal, and a clear effort to minimize what my child experienced. Rather than investigating objectively, she essentially told me my son's perception was wrong and defended the teacher at every turn. As a parent, it felt like my child was being labeled a liar simply because it was more convenient for the school. To make matters worse, the school refused to move my son to a different class, forcing him to remain in an environment where he felt unsafe and unheard. This was incredibly damaging and showed a complete lack of concern for his emotional well-being. My son does not lie. He is intelligent, thoughtful, and had absolutely nothing to gain by telling me something so upsetting. The way this was handled showed a complete failure of leadership. A school should protect children first--not protect adults or sweep serious concerns under the rug. If your child ever comes to you with a difficult or uncomfortable truth, ask yourself whether this is a school that will stand with your family or silence your child. Based on our experience, I would not trust Dayspring Academy to do the right thing when it matters most.

The staff of Pitter Patter truly cares about each individual child and they make sure every single one of them is seen and heard. At the end of the year when they did their last round of testing to prepare the kids for kindergarten my son tested at a first grade level, I think that there speaks for itself. This really is the best place for your littles.

She said they were short-staffed and her staff was "on breaks," so they couldn't accept my daughter--despite the fact that she was fully enrolled. To make matters worse, they require full payment for the month upfront. I paid over $1,100 and was left with no childcare and no refund. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told she was out of town for a wedding and unavailable. I insisted, and eventually spoke with Heema, a 27-year-old who is listed as the owner. Unfortunately, Heema offered no real resolution--because it's clear Ashlee is the one truly running the center, and she's doing so with an appalling lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability. This experience has been incredibly stressful for our family. I would strongly caution any parent considering this location. Reliable care and respectful communication should be the minimum standard--this place fails on both.
