They offered a service over the phone for $150. When they showed up they performed the wrong service which I did not discover until they showed up again to do the same wrong service. They said they could do the right service this time and comp me the $150, but it would still be an additional $75. Then the charged my credit card $550. read more

Had aeration & over seeding service done. They stated that if seed didn't take in all areas, they would come out and redo it. It didn't take in all areas. Messaged through the website with no response. Called in four different times and they said they would notify a manager to call and get this taken care of. Nobody ever called. Called again and finally spoke to a manager who said he would take care of the issue and he would call me on Friday to schedule an appointment. That call back never happened. Called the billing department and got a refund for the service and canceled my maintenance plan. Never again! read more

We bought a new house with a few sprinkler issues so we called up Senske to get a quote. The office staff was nice and the tech showed up when they said they would. That's where is all went downhill. I got home from work and my wife handed me the quote they left. It was roughly $900. That seemed like a lot but we figured it would be a good investment for our lawn. I had a question about the quote because something we talked about was not listed. I called Senske to get an answer. The office staff can't answer any questions so they send a message to a tech to call me. Two days later I haven't heard anything so I call back. Same routine, they can't answer questions and they message the tech and his manager. Two days later still nothing. I called and went through the same routine a 3rd time. Now it's almost 2 weeks from the quote and 1 day before the work was scheduled to happen. I called the office and said I can't authorize the work unless I get this question answered . They assured me it would be. Of course the next day rolls around and the tech calls me to let me know they are 5 minutes out. I asked him why he never called me and he stated he had no idea I had a question of any kind and stated they were having some issues with staffing due to Covid. I say that fine because that's completely understandable. The following day I go outside to test the sprinkler system and I see my back yard and patio is completely flooded. One of the sprinkler zones won't shut off so I had to cut off the water supply to the whole system. I go around and test every zone before turning off the water. There are multiple broken sprinkler heads pouring water right at the head, multiple heads not rotating, and one spraying directly at a wall. There are now more issues than before they got here and I am holding a $900 bill. After 2 more calls and one email, I finally got the tech to come back to check out the issues. He said all of the issues are due to low pressure and says he can fix it for another $1200. I ask for his manger because this is completely ridiculous. The manager says he will work with me and see what they can do. He says he needs to run a few numbers and he will get back to me with a solution. One week later and this may be shocking....they have not contacted me. I'm done with this company. Please avoid them if you can. read more

I just got a call from a Senske representative who wanted to schedule me for a deep root watering for my trees. Yeah - injecting water into the ground so that there would be plenty of water there for next spring. What a scam. I have a hose and when I want to deep water my trees I will leave the hose on the tree for a bit. The soil here is pretty well drained and whatever is done now will have no effect next spring. I was very happy with the first service but now we are on number three and I'm very UNHAPPY! I have weeds everywhere and it looks like it has never been fertilized at all. The service person was very rude trying to tell me a certain kind of weed I pointed out was not weeds it was grass. I'm 65 yrs old....don't piss on my arm and tell me it's raining. I know my yard. I contacted Senske to give me an estimate for cleaning up my backyard in preparation of an upcoming party. My request included pulling weeds ( not a massive amount) defining the flower beds and laying bark. As we were walking through the yard, I was told I could do this work myself, that this would be really " expensive" and that it would be better to have the party at a park. My yard was not that bad and I did find another company to do the work. I would not bother with contacting Senske. They seem to not want to do the work they advertise with the exception of spreading fertilizer on a lawn. read more

Frequent missed appointments. And when missed you go to end of line rather than next! Day after them doing sprinkler check I found 13 sprinkler heads out of adjustment. Obvious spots of dead grass. What was the guy doing? Billing dept clueless. Sent billing for pre-paid services on two occasions. I work in a medical clinic where a patient came in with bed bugs. I called the office and requested someone come out (we had used them in the past) I was told they would have to make an appointment to come give an estimate I explained we were a medical clinic with patients coming the next day for surgery. Still stuck to the same story. I called York and they made a special trip out to help us. I will never call Senske for anything again. I would not recommend for anything. read more

I'm hoping that at this point they resolve the issue in a professional manner instead of chewing us out like they did before. The quality of service will determine the outcome of their business at this point. Called them for Pest Control, the dude that came out was as friendly as can be so it's not his issue. We were supposed to have service today at 8am. Apparently it was never scheduled by their department AT ALL. This was after it having to be rescheduled twice and one time they just randomly showed up out of nowhere. Called this morning and was told " We have you scheduled for Friday." No, it was for today. We're still awaiting a call back from the Supervisor which was supposedly put in 4 hours ago. Still haven't heard a thing. Going to cancel our service and go elsewhere. If this is how you guys run a business I can see why your Facebook page is tore up with client complaints. A BBB complaint is going to be filed as well. Again the actual tech that came out was as nice as can be, I hope he's already looking for work elsewhere so he can get away from this dumpster fire of a company. EDIT: I've reached out to you by email. One of your Sups called and pretty much told my girlfriend to go elsewhere then she said she just wanted it done as soon as possible so it was scheduled for this upcoming Wednesday. Two days from now. This wasn't rescheduled because of weather either. It's not like we're in the middle of nowhere, we're in town 5-10 minutes away from your office. He mentioned that you guys take your reviews seriously, I really hope that's the case because if we get rescheduled again with zero communication as to why then we will and my complaint won't be with you at that point. I used Senske to Winterize my back yard sprinkler system. It is a small yard with only one station and I was told it would be $65. In Union Gap the taxes are around 8.1 I thought, not sure how the bill got to $89. The guy was nice enough just shocked about the price when it took maybe 1/2 hour. Simple, turn the water off, hook the compressor up, blow out the water, disconnect the hose and done. At this price I just might buy my own compressor. Just make sure of the price before you have the work done. I will have my own compressor next year or call someone else. read more

I finally was able to get an appointment to get my yard sprayed but it was hard to get through to them. I spoke to someone who called himself a manager at what he called their corporate office but to be honest he was just as argumentative and single minded as the salesman that canceled my appointment on his own volition. I would not recommend This company to anyone for anything. I am only getting this one service completed because I signed the contract to do so. FYI this alleged manager at the "corporate office" then informed me that the spray would only possibly get rid of up to 75% of the problem plants in my yard. This was quite a contrast to what the salesman told me when I signed up for the service. I pointed out that if they would've sprayed on time when the thistles we're just starting to come up there probably would've had a higher kill rate and that I understood it would weigh more difficult now that they are 6 to 8 inches tall. Please take heed and you can tell by the other comments this company cannot be trusted, seems not to want our business. The funny thing is as a business owner I will go above and beyond for my customers, if one has a problem I do everything I can to make them happy so they come back Senske acts as if they don't want our business. I will update this as soon as they spray my yard this next Tuesday and I will update everyone a third time to let you know how good the spray works. James was our pest control technician and he was so friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed having him and are hoping the next guy will be just as good since we moved to a new area. I have not had a problem with Senske for their home pest control services. The price was reasonable for the quarterly sprays especially considering they guarantee their work. Which makes it worth it in my opinion. And we truly did rarely find any pests inside. My only complaint with Senske is their vegetation management program. I paid almost $500 for a initial ground sterilant program with 4 additional maintenance sprays of $90 each spray. It got off to a rocky start. There was some company issue with employees that left the job so we got put on the back burner while they fixed their scheduling issues. Which I understand, things happen. But eventually the weeds were so tall they had to send people to cut them down with weed eaters and then apply the sterilant. It was handled after some back and forth but we were given 2 free sprays to make up for all the trouble and I felt that was showing an effort to make it right. So I was fine with it. But the next year I found out you have to pay the "initial startup" annually. I cancelled that part. Said if the sterilizer was doing its job there was no reason to pay $500 annually. It should just be a pre-emergent maintenance spray in the spring. Honestly, I didn't touch that area all this year and it hasn't sprouted even one weed. So their product clearly works! But I am not going to pay for start up costs. That's just an upsell. read more

Twelve hours after spraying for these little nasty bugs that come in from outdoors, the house still has a serious problem. When I called because I found 5 bugs crawling on me, first they said oh it takes a few hours. When I said it's been 8 hr they said oh it may take 3-5 days and that those bugs were already in the house! Yet there weren't that many before. I say don't waste your money on this company. Our experience with Senske has been terrifying. The gentleman that came to give us an estimate was very nice, but ultimately Senske didn't provide the services we needed for our property so we did NOT schedule anything beyond the estimate. A week later a man comes to the door, and even after telling him several times we did not schedule any lawn/spray services he would not leave and kept saying "well I don't feel comfortable leaving without scheduling you in the future".
