I had this company out to treat some obnoxious little ants that came out of no where. As expected it took a little time, a colony doesn't go away in a day, but they were gone very quickly. The service was outstanding. Communication was kept through the whole process. I will continue to use them for all my pest issues and recommend them to everyone i know. I had them come out spray for ants and spiders. The date was May 7 the price was 300. The perimiter was sprayed and inside around base boards. Ants came back on June 10. I called them they stated it would be another 125 to spray again then I would have a 3 month guarantee. I asked why they werent killed the first time they explained it was policy.I told them their policy did not make sense. They kept trying to sell me a package.Beware read more

I have heard for years Yakima was built on an anthill, I have currently lived in my house for 2 years and have tried everything to get rid of my ant problem. York's came to the rescue. Not only do they have professional and friendly service, their prices are affordable. I will definitely be using their services again in the future. The tech seemed to know his job, he arrived on time and even called to say he was on the way. My problem is: we paid cash, tech was unable to give us a receipt, said it will be mailed. One of the many questions I had-- How long will it take to see a decline in these little bug? Up to 45 days was the answer... And if we still see evidence, York will return FREE of charge and re-spray. Well I still have the little bugs and haven't received my receipt to this day. I have called twice on the receipt and was told they will mail it. Yesterday I called to inform they I still have bugs just not as bad and was told to have a tech return, there would be a $75 charge for a re-spray....told her that is not what I was told. She stuck to the 75 and I hung up. I would NOT recommend them. read more

So my parents had issues with a wasp nest inside our attic. After trying to take care of it ourselves (which we failed) we went through York's Exterminating. Needless to say, they took care of it right away. I know I'll definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

This company is exceptional. The dispatcher/coordinator was very professional, helpful, and extremely efficient and sincere. When the tech was running behind, he took the time to call and let us know he would be slightly late (which was really only 20-30 minutes) but I reallyappreciated being advised ahead of time. The tech was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The price quoted was the actual price. I can't really say enough good things about them but I would highly recommend them and know they are excellent! read more

Established in 1977.

Bob York began working in Pest Control Tulsa, Oklahoma in the late 1960s. With experience at renowned companies like Terminix and Orkin, Bob's passion for pest control led him to establish his own business in Yakima in the early 1970s. Working alongside his wife, Linda York, who managed the office and phones, Bob poured his heart into the business for the first 15 years. Their son, Marty York, joined the team at just 15 years old, eventually transitioning to a full-time role after graduating in 1993. Taking the reins in 2010, Marty assumed management responsibilities and later acquired the business from Bob in 2017. Marty's commitment to excellence continues to drive the company forward, with Tyler York also joining the team in 2014 and now serving as one of the managers. Today, Yorks Pest Control remains a family-owned and operated business, delivering friendly and professional pest control services to the Yakima community.

Do not trust this business there are better options.

The guy came over and did a big look around the property and I showed him where I saw all the ants. He spent time following trails to the sources while I lounged inside. He then got suited up and sprayed the sources (that weren't on the neighbor's property, but he had a separate solution for that.) Afterwards he answered my questions and gave some light education on preventing further infestations. What keeps it from being a full 5 stars was that I had a lot of trouble getting in contact with them at first and actually had to show up to their HQ in person to initiate contact. In addition I had to call them back because there was a spot he missed in the kitchen where the ants had a colony set up (not completely their fault, as I assured them the infestations were outside.) The kitchen colony was taking a long time to clear up after the second spray, while the outside colonies were gone within 3 days. Eventually got some ant bait and it seems to finish them off.

Tyler came to help with a stopped up drain in my 85 year old farm house, that turned into a much…read morebigger job upon realizing that the drain was not routed into the septic. Instead, it was draining into the ground...something that was acceptable in 1940 when it was built. Over 85 years, the drain pipe had eroded and likely collapsed, causing the sink to stop draining. Tyler went to great lengths to figure this out, and was 100% ambitious, positive and reassuring in stating that it would be fixable. Two days later, he returned to perform the work and succeeded at rerouting the pipe to the septic. Tyler was extremely hard working and represented his company in an exemplary manner. It was not an easy task and he should have been supported with some help, or the job assigned to a smaller plumber. He gave 5 star effort. I would not, however, rate the company as high, due their lack of concern for his safety.

Rachel and bre were very helpful working with my grandma's case manager she was very uncomfortable with here living condition and was embarrassed but all the staff that work for The York's company made her feel like it is completely normal and understandable that at her age and disability that she is unable to do the things she once was. They made a huge impact on her daily living and prevented her from having to go to assisted living without this program. This would have never been possible. They came in and solved her roach problem and decluttered and cleaned and organized and removed all biohazard. Now my grandma gets to stay home and I get to keep my job as her caregiver. I am tremendously thankful for all the hard work and communication and teamwork that took place in order to get this job completed.Family over and beyond and I couldn't be happier with their services . She is now back to her old self inviting family and friends back over. And she is spending less time in and out of the hospital and feeling so much better now.
