I've been trying out a few pool places recently as I get into it and I can say this is one i definitely wouldn't come back to. We came late on a Monday night and were treated extremely rudely, and based on past reviews I definitely believe it has something to do with us being a group of women. We were the only ones in there and the owner and his friends stared us down every time we played. He also started the timer as soon as we walked in and said we wanted to play before we even got the table. He came over to ask us to turn down our music (which was so low he didn't notice for 30+ mins) despite us being the only people in there with radio station ads playing. The tables were $15 an hour and cash only which I personally hate considering it's 2026 and I believe it's outdated. $15 an hour felt especially steep when there is no real music, no drinks, no snacks and no nothing but rude service. I've played pool at dive bars in nicer parts of LA at billaird places for $2 an hour. The owner and his friend mocked us as we played in front of them so I would not say it's beginner friendly. Also I previously came here on a Saturday night when it was packed and because there is zero ventilation there is a certain smell that sticks... We understand that he probably forgot but it was quite embarrassing since it felt like a walk of shame. Everyone was just staring at us. I had an incredibly frustrating experience. I came here hoping to enjoy a night of pool, but left feeling dissatisfied. While I was waiting outside, the owner assured me he would secure a spot for us, but that promise was far from fulfilled. I've been to this spot a couple of times. It's a really chill space and there's plenty of tables for the traffic that frequents this establishment. The rate is $15 per hour to play, there are individual timers per table that clearly display how much time has elapsed, and THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH (for the record, I'm not trynna yell. It's just if y'all read nothing else, I wanted you to know this) The atmosphere it self is a little stale. Like there's usually some kind of sports on the TVs but it's not like there's any atmospheric music, or even sports commentary.. but in my opinion, that makes great for just random conversation with your company. My favorite spot. The owner is nice, remembers you when you come back, and always cleans up when people leave. He brushes the tables and wipes down the balls when a table clears up, which is why everything is so neat. The fact that they have Carom tables tells you how legit this place is. The man running things seemed friendly enough, smiling. Language might be a barrier so people who think he's standoff-ish, give him a break. He takes great pride in cleaning the tables as soon as anyone is done. I loved playing Carom here. Totally laid back place! This place has more than 2 pool tables (contrary to other "tips") and is not expensive at all! Whoever put the "$$$" as the rating was SO WRONG. This is definitely "$" inexpensive! This is a really casual place that has a lot of fun to offer. We were greeted when we walked in and offered a free non alcoholic beverage while we were playing a game of pool. When we mentioned that this was our first time, the associate let us know how the pricing and timing worked for the games. It was really simple and helpful to have someone greet us as we came in! We played about 4 games in one hour, which cost only $12. If you want to play for only half an hour, you can pay $7. Half an hour is the minimum. If I were with more people, we could have easily played longer and split the bill! Think about it, with four friends playing two hours; you're only paying six bucks each! Great deal! There is a TV with the game on, which is nice if you're into sports. The only suggestion I would have is to maybe have a little background music somewhere; however, this doesn't seem like a party type of atmosphere. It's pretty much just pool tables and great lighting. So music isn't really a must. Another small suggestion would be to get a few pictures of how to properly rack up the billiard balls. I probably didn't even say that right! Or maybe even some cool charts. It would be cool for newbies like me to learn a little bit of proper terminology and just to know that I'm doing it right. I love Seoul Billiard! I don't know any other billiards around town and this one is very close to home. It's located in a plaza with lots of asian restaurants which is convenient. This place charges 12$ an hour with a minimum of 7$/30 min. I usually can squeeze several games including breaks for that hour. Speaking of hour, happy hour is couple bucks less before 5pm I believe. This place has great quality billiard equipment which are all well cleaned and polished. Chalk is provided for the pool cues. And lots of cues to choose from the rack for each table. There's a small vending machine but I'd rather just grab a bite to eat by just walking a couple feet outside. (Or go to Volcano Tea House next door) Along with lots of seating, there is also a well cleaned bathroom. I highly recommend this place and bring friends for great games of billiards. read more

There is also a really cool dart machine, it has plenty of games you can play. Everyone here is friendly especially the owner Pete. He's one of the nicest guys I know. Their felt is perfect, and there's enough light to see what and where you're shooting, for all those who are serious about practicing. The staff here are wonderful, courteous, and hospitable.
