Had a chance to grab a quick dinner here last week. We got…read morethere around 7pm on a Monday, and we're able to get a table, but can see that you would probably need a reservation during the weekends or busier seasons. We were seated right away, water was provided, and menus were also provided. We weren't that hungry, so we ordered a main to share, a starter, and a side. Our steak came out perfectly rare. It definitely didn't need the shishito butter. Their homemade ketchup for the fries was delicious though. All the sauces for the Arctic Char Croquettes complimented the fish very well. The Broccolini was also good. Although if you aren't a fan of sour/tartness like we are, you might not enjoy these particular starter and side. Service was very good throughout our dining experience. Our server even had a nice little conversation with us about road tripping across Canada since she had done it a few times herself. It's very stylish and upscale-looking inside, but didn't feel pretentious or uncomfortable at all. Looks like a great spot for cocktails if you're into that.

I'm a cheesecake fan, and I have had some good cheesecakes, including The Cheesecake Factory. This one was perfection. The main cheesecake was super creamy and soft. It was lightly sprinkled with gram crust. This was a great idea, no thick crust ruining the cheesecake to crust ratio. Then they topped it off with fresh blueberries and a blueberry sauce. Plus they added a tasty stained glass candy to make it look cool. Delicious....

When you first arrive there are two parts to the restaurant. One part is just for food and the other is for cake and desserts. We knew we wanted food so we went to the entrance on the right. The menu is quite simple and they specialize on French pastries/breakfast items. I got the Westcoast Montreal Bagel. They really nailed it. I love the smoke salmon in it along with the alfalfa. The bagel was made the Montreal way. It was nice and chewy. It had the right texture. I loved it. B had the large poutine. It was a bit peppery but that was very tasty. They were very generous on the cheese curd which was really nice. Seating can be hard to find given the restaurant isn't very big. There are seatings outside as well. Most people eat and then leave. We ended up sitting on the sofa with the fireplace which was not bad. We do prefer a normal table that was ok for us. I tried a piece of my friend's sticky bun and that was very tasty as well. It is kind of messy to eat. So far the items I tried were tasty. They do have street parking and parking lot dedicated to their customer.

If you get the BLT make sure you get it all dressed as the tangy from the pickle elevates the Sandwhich. Services was good, staff were friendly and prompt. They have a nice patio outside along with lots of inside seating.

Started with the soup of the day, tomato - tandoori soup, followed by entree of the steelhead trout with local mushroom, roasted pistachios, roasted potatoes all over a puree pea & mint. We were over the top thrilled with these flavors. Our other friend had braised beef (8 hrs) which as fabulous. Started with roasted Brussel sprouts, bacon, celery root, turnip root - blown away with how these flavors worked together, delicious. Our server was wonderful & went over and beyond to make sure we had a great evening & wonderful dining experience. Charming corner restaurant, lovely decorations, art and light throughout. We highly recommend.

It had really fresh crunch kale with all kinds of roots. Beets, yams, carrots. Roasted pepita seeds added a nice little flavor. The charcuterie board was impressive. Home made tapenade, several cheeses, mustard, chorizo, dried fruit, home made pickled veggies, and once again the roasted pepitas. Sad they were out of the braised beef shank that night. Reportedly the ribs were pretty good. The stuffed chicken was also reportedly pretty good. The salmon was cooked nicely but I'm not a big fan of pureed pees. Should've remembered that before I ordered it. The pesto pasta was very creamy, to the point it made me think of alfredo. The star of the pesto was the mushrooms though. We were too full to try desserts.
