I've had my fair share of Korean BBQ all over the city. There's some places that have crazy line ups and yet they fall short. If your looking for the best Korean barbecue this is the spot. Tables are set far enough apart to social distance and all health measures have been taken to make sure you have a fun and safe experience. The menu is large and all orders are done over an iPad. We had to order a bit of everything. We got tons of bulgogi beef which was beautifully seasoned and cooked so quickly. We also got chicken, shrimp and almost all of the veggies. Everything was seasoned in some way, which doesn't always happen at other places I've been to. We also ordered some sushi, we were happy to see that order come in by two pieces so you can try lots of stuff without having to worry about leaving some food behind. They have a a nice selection of warm plates including one of the best sesame beefs I've ever had. My favourite however would have to be the bibimbap the egg was fried perfect and when mixed together the yolk and rice taste so gooood! The food is tasty and gets to your table so quickly, the staff is friendly and the decor is really nice. Stop waiting in line for the other places and get over here instead

I am really impressed with this restaurant. This is an all you can eat sushi and grill. You have a grill at your table and can order the meat and shrimp to grill right there. It's such a fun concept! And in the meanwhile, have fun ordering sushi, dumplings, rice, calamari, general Tao, or anything else you wish! I was so pleased with the excellent service. The staff is welcoming , and are super quick to bring the orders, take away the empty plates, replace the water bottles, and anything else you need. The food is absolutely delicious, and fresh. They also have bubble tea and cocktails for an extra cost. What I also really appreciated was how spacious the place was. I didn't have to squeeze in between tables to get up. I will definitely return soon!

I had a recent visit for a fellas night of revelry, good eats and laughs. During these expeditions we try to hit up some different delicious eats in the MTL area. We felt like some K BBQ and having eaten at a few places N of the St Lawrence river we decided to venture to the S shore to hit up this highly recommended place. Upon entry on a Friday night it was busy. The smell of sweet smoky soya sauce filled the air. It's a large place where they grill your food at a booth with parchment paper over the grill. During COVID times they have mastered an online ordering platform. More restaurants should take note. You scan a QR code on your phone and one person performs the ordering. Very important. Then shortly thereafter someone from the restaurant hustles and brings out your order. It's quite impressive as there is little delay. Service is quick efficient and exceptional. Onto the food. There is a huge assortment of Korean, noodles, meat, veg and what I was delightfully impressed with the sushi. You can get fried food, soup, various meats and most anything you had your mind on and then some. The highlight d'or me was the soosh. Let me preface this that I was not expecting sushi here. You could easily come here for the AYCE sushi alone. The meat I found a bit sweet and slightly over marinated salted. However other hungry carnivores in my group were graciously satisfied. Definitely come here hungry. As it is AYCE you typically leave here a bit I we stuffed and needing to un-notch that belt buckle one or possibly two notches. Overall the quality is excellent and the price to value ratio is on point. Probably where I would return for just the sushi. As mentioned in other grilled meat places don't wear your Sunday best. Also if you have hair that absorbs smoky smell expect that you may need a shower after dining here. Clothes and hair will smell like grilled meat soya sauce if you have hungry carnivores in your group. Overall it's a feast and delight. Eat on.

AYCE Koran BBQ and sushi. Prices are pretty decent and the service as well. I've had better food when it comes to AYCE BBQ. All the meats tasted pretty much the same and overly sweetened. Maybe it's done on purpose so we don't order too much of it. The fried items were very good but beware of the scallops. It's not. It's more like surimi shaped like a scallop. There's so much I can say about this place. Would I come back? Probably not. I just tried this place out because I didn't wanted to wait 1/2 hour for a table at the restaurant across the boulevard. Next time, I'll wait ;)

The food is great. The vibes are mid. The music low and the music taste... questionable. The service is quick too

I could not beleive that they did not have better reviews especially from the last year or so as the head waiter Peter goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and takes a lot of pride in his work, Jeffery who is there less often is also very pleasant. We usually start with a house salade that has a ginger dressing you can't get enough of even though the portion is huge, especially if you go often ;) thanks Peter, then we get 2 orders of kamakazi's $4.99 each 5 big pieces and they are tasty.... the best i have ever tasted! and 2 avacado maki rolls $3.99 each for 5 big pieces I love these as the have the rice on the outside with black and white sesamee seeds, then I either go with a deep fried kamakazi that has a tempura batter these are really good try it! or if we are really hungry we order the Sushi Pizza 9.99 the plate is huge and very tasty. A few years ago for a few months they had a waitress that was pretty rude but now that they have Peter and staff the service is the best, so friendly and polite and you can tell the whole staff really have a lot of pride in their food and service. Once you try Okanne Suski you will have found your new favorite Sushi restaurant. Sugestions: ask for spicy mayo to go on the sushi pizza or any of the sushi. ask for green tea with the popcorn in it.

First off it's not a BYOW and many of the dishes were bland and disappointing. The tempura shrimp were made differently and when we bit into them they squirted a liquid (we assumed it was water) out. Quite literally when I bit into my piece it squirted water across the table The Pad Thai was just noodles and sauce and was dry The Dragon's Eye sushi tasted very fishy The ambiance was nice and the wait staff were friendly but the food wasn't very good We won't be going back! Just a note: The Mitsuki in Saint Hubert has changed ownership and name but food was still amazing and it's still a BYOW the last time we were there over 3 years ago.

The reason I can't give 5 star is the selection. The selection was so bad you have no tuna in your option. The maki was almost one of the only sushi I could get. Maki with cucumber, maki with avocado, or maki with salmon. They had one I believe in speciality that was avocado cream cheese and goberge. The other option all had shrimp tempura or deep fried. I like avocado and salmon, pretty simple but not offered on the menu. The sushi are good and the water service was really quick. I just wish I could have had a variety of choices. Most sushi place have a different lunch option. It might be a good option to come later for dinner instead.

I came back because I really did miss their sushi and that hubby convinced me to give this place yet another chance. If you haven't read the last review, let's just say that it wasn't because of the food, but rather the service. This time around it was a completely new staff and it was great!!! It used to be an all waitresses but now it was only waiters. They were so polite, professional and so helpful! The sushi, like all the previous times I've came here, was delicious!!! So in my opinion, if the owner can have consistency in the service, this place will become once again my go-to sushi restaurant in the South Shore. So happy that it's all good again like it was before my previous BAD service experience. The sushi and the quality/freshness of the dish is amazing!

We were out on the south shore around dinner time and we followed the 4.5 star review this…read morerestaurant gets on Yelp. We took a chance. Once seated, I followed our waiter's advice to try the chef's choice. I was served a litany of finger food, sometimes served on the strangest of vessels, the mixture of flavours in each dish so complicated that I couldn't really identify what it is I was eating. The shape changed - and was sometimes pretty - but the taste stayed pretty much the same: cloyingly sweet, and bland in a bizarre way. I ended the meal with sticky fingers and a nauseating feeling that i had been taken for a ride. The decor reflects the same lack of direction as the kitchen, with Thai buddhas cohabiting with classic izakaya lanterns (some are beer adverts), Chinese windbreakers, and various vaguely asian trinquets and prints on the wall. The chopsticks are not even Japanese. On the glasses and the sleeves of the waiters you'll find a "勝" proclaiming, I suppose, the "win" this restaurant is aiming for??? It reminded me of those people who get a Chinese word tattooed on their arm or chest thinking it was a wise and ancient one-word proverb only to find out later it actually means "water" (or worse). "Win" indeed... The only somewhat bright side was the ever enthusiastic server who was singing the praise of each plate as he was serving them. I was at first on the verge of finding him annoying, but at least he was entertaining. In the end I kind of felt a pang of guilt for his efforts as I was going from one disappointment to the next. I think he knows what he is serving. The first and only star of this review is for his hard work (also, you can't give a zero star review). All in all it was disgusting, heavy on the stomach and the wallet (150$+ for two once all was said and done, no wine, as it is a BYOW), and I'm definitely never going again. Nor should you. Now, I'm not sure what's wrong with people who think they can call their place a sushi restaurant when all they serve is a mishmash of pretentious ... let's stay polite and call it "stuff" ... slathered with some kind of spicy sweet mayonnaise, and served on or with something crunchy in a cocktail glass. I understand the need to attract people who are still not quite comfortable - in 2022 - with the idea of eating raw fish, but this is extreme. Oh, and spare me the maple syrup to try and appeal to the "eating local" crowd. Sushi is about the fish, if you're not able to serve good fish, and insist on serving that Americanized crap, spare us and just call your restaurant something else. I hear "fusion" is a popular word.
