Just had my daughter's quiencienera at Sepan. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The hall was very elegant and clean. The food was delicious and the portions were big . The owner, Arthur, was accommodating and made sure everything was running smoothly. He always checked in to ask if there was anything else we needed help with. Bartenders made the drinks we requested. The male bartender noticed I was the person who hosted the party and that I hadn't had a drink and went up to me to ask if he could make one for me. Arthur was very accommodating with our party planning process. The space was beautiful and the food was plenty and overflowing! He was also very nice to allow us to utilize the bigger hall even though we had at least 30people less than what was required to utilize that room. Not to mention the price was reasonable and we all know this is half the battle when throwing a big event. The bigger space made that much more convenient for all the other activities we had during the party for example; DJ space, Photobooth space, dessert and gift table as well as a comfortable space for all our performances. He also allowed us to bring some of our decorations and drinks a day in advance which made setting up a breeze. Arthur also made sure to test all of our digital pictures and videos in advance to make sure there were no issues the day of the party. I would first like to say thanks to the organizers, staff, and everyone who helped! I had my daughters Quinceneara here and it was the greatest venue I've been at hands down! The process to book the place the real easy and the price is reasonable like they were not out trying to rip people off to throw a party. They had valet parking for 10 bucks a car which isn't bad and the staff were really nice! Oh and don't make me start talking about the food. For what they charged us, they brought out soooooo much food and it was sooooo good! Everyone of my friends and family were asking me how much I paid for the service food and venue cause they thought I dropped an arm and a leg! Don't get me wrong tho, it did cost a good amount but it was average. They definitely hooked it up tho. And when I had more then 150 people that arrived, they were nice enough to make another table with food, for a fee Ofcourse but they did it soooo quick and were very nice about it! I had a wedding event that I coordinated here last June 28. The hall was just perfect for a 120ish guests that the bride and groom had. We also had a bar and photobooth set up just outside the hall. Armen the owner was so accommodating, his stuff were amazing, very helpful, professional. I definitely recommend this place for any event. This review is for the catering, which was great. We ordered food to go for 10+ people & couldn't be happier. The chef who greeted us (I think he said his name was Hezra) was a really nice humble man with good vibes (so important who's handling your food). The food came out on time, was packaged neatly with all appetizers in a big tray which made driving with all of that easy, and it looked and tasted great. Our guests were quite impressed and we will definitely order again from here next time. P.s. there is a parking structure right by the entrance where you pick up the food so you don't need to carry it much. read more

Recently visited this hall for a quinceañera here, at the upstairs hall and I realize this place is amazing for small events or birthday party occasion. Staff is extremely friendly. Waiters serve with courtesy, at entry gate you are being greeted. There is no other place beautiful than this. Menu, staff and services; everything was ditto perfect and lovely. Husbanf and I got merried at Sepans banquets halls, in a beautiful nAtwater village, Los Angeles. Right off 5 Freeway, close to Dodger stadium. Arman, was honest and friendly. He hooked us up with extra plates, and Champaign for our guests. We have had 270 people, with limo, photobooth and seven course dinner. Our family and friends were so full, they didn't want to leave. So we extended our party for additional 1 hour with little extra fee. But believe me it was unforgettable experience. There is a nice funtain on Los Feliz Blvd by the park for wedding photos, Cross street Riverside. I do, recommend Sepan banquets for your wedding. You will fill up the guest and got more money back than it will end up costing you with Sepan. read more

I am beyond impressed by the service provided by the staff at this banquet hall. From the service provide by the manager with just 4 weeks to plan, the service provided by the waiters to maintain the food coming and cleanliness during the wedding and the amazing food. I have never been to a hall in which you are served so much and such good food. They truly follow the motto of the more the better. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Let me start with the manger, absolutely wonderful to work with. This was my first formal party, and I had no clue where to start. I only have 1 daughter and we were having her sweet 16/Quinceanera birthday to combine her cultures. The manger was very helpful and made the process so easy and the price was amazing. I thought it was going to be 2 to 3 times the amount, but Sepan Hall is very affordable. Everything I needed was included in the price, the hall, tables, chairs, food, wait staff everything I needed. I was very nervous, and the manger was very reassuring to me that my daughter's special day would be perfect, and it was. all of the halls there are beautiful. We were in the large hall, and it was gorgeous and immaculate, it sparkled and shined. The wait staff were wonderful and very helpful. All my guest were very complimentary about the staff, the food and the hall. Now the food, oh my god it was so delicious, and my guest were stuffed there was so much food. It was Mediterranean and it was delicious and for the price there was so much I luckily brought some to go containers for my guest and they had plenty to take home and were full from all the food too. If I need to host another formal party, I would defiantly go back and recommend to all my friends as well. If you choose Sepan Hall you will be very happy. It's a gorgeous place, the food is excellent and the manager is very friendly and providing. They have very good service, I had my daughters quince there and it was really nice. The only thing I'm concerned about is that they only give you an hour and a half before the event to set up, and I don't find that enough time to decorate before an event. They should give more time to set up at least in the morning, but besides that everything was good. read more

Had my little sisters Quinceañera here, at the upstairs hall. I didn't communicate much with the owners as my mom and sisters took care of that so I'll speak only if the location and it's services. The location was beautiful, good size for 100+ people, the decor was great and the space was too. The restrooms were clean, the waiting staff was nice and there was endless food. I think that you most definitely get a bargain if you book this place! My sisters quince this past weekend ended up being a success. I will say that they have stairs with no elevator for the second floor but we managed to make it work! If you'll have people running up and down or elderly people who need assistance, you may want to reconsider and get the downstairs hall but... my father is handicap and we made it work. Thank you, Sepan for your hospitality. Oh, & before I forget... valet! You'll pay $8 but if you park on the street you can get free parking after 8PM. So keep that in mind as well. read more

I had my wedding here this past Saturday and let me begin to tell you this place is WONDERFUL! I don't even know what to begin with. The staff is AMAZING! They really make sure everyone is well taken care of! Appetizers served followed by dinner and lastly with fruit.And the cake of course which they do cut for you and serve to everyone.  The amount of food is a big quantity and feels never ending in a good way because everything they serve is so delicious! All of my guests were blown away by the food, They loved everything that was served. Everyone loved the staff and how well taken care of they felt. I couldn't be happier with the choice we made picking this venue. Arman the owner was wonderful too, he made it very easy!  This place is truly one of a kind I am so happy I have no complaints. Also, I thought this was really sweet, Since there was some food leftover, they packaged it into trays and loaded it into our car, I mean how thoughtful is that! One more thing, we had a whole cake leftover and the staff let us leave it there in the fridge since we didn't have space to take it, they covered it and let is pick it up the following morning. I emailed them yesterday to get pricing info for an upcoming event. In my email, I included the date and time of our event. The owner, Arman, responded back confirming availability and provided pricing. After a few emails back and forth, he suggested we come in person to check out the venue. I confirmed to come by today and again confirmed an hour before my arrival. I drove for 50 minutes in LA traffic to get there. When we walked in, before he even showed us the hall, he asked to come to his office. In the back of my mind, I realized something was fishy as other hall owners usually give you a tour of the venue first. He sat down at his desk and asked me for the date of my event, then started shuffling through papers and told me that the venue wasn't available for that date. UNBELIEVABLE & UNACCEPTABLE. I asked him why he didn't communicate that via email, as he could of saved me a 2-hour roundtrip on a work day. He said he didn't realize it was booked and that he isn't the only person managing bookings. He also said I didn't mention the date in my latest email to him, but I had provided all the info to him initially. It's not my responsibility to remind you of the date over and over again. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

We were guests at a baby shower held at the Sepan Banquet Hall so I can only review this place as a guest, I'm not sure about price, etc. What I do know is that our server was extremely sick (not like "Woah, dude, look at that guy's cool outfit, he's sooo SICK!" but like "Woah, dude, that guy's hacking up a lung in our food and sneezing into his hand and putting his fingers in the cake, he's sooo sick!") I was surprised that Sean didn't mention anything, in fact, I almost thought he didn't notice. We've walked right out of restaraunts before if he even suspects that someone sitting at a table nearby is sniffling let alone the person bringing us our food. Sneezing, coughing and germs in general really disturb him - and it has rubbed off on me a little bit. Fortunately, we're rarely sick... Unfortunately, I'm even more nuerotic than before. Anyway, this waiter coughed a lot, he did sneeze into his hand, squeeze his snotty nose with his fingers and when he and the other server carried the cake "in back" (who knows what happened back there), I saw his finger accidentally go right into the frosting (and oh, how I love frosting!!!) Bleh. So I think they should've given him a sick day or sent him home or something because that sick guy cost them three stars in my book. He actually cost them five, but I put two back for being a good size hall for the shower and having interesting ethnic food that I'd never had before (I'll have to update this bad boy when I can remember what it was). On third thought, I'm taking away another star because the place was REALLY difficult to find AND they don't provide free parking. (Not that they should, but I hate paying for parking.) read more
