Unfortunately, the one thing that consistently frustrates me is the customer service at checkout. Too often, employees seem unhelpful or even annoyed when I ask for assistance with my app, discount codes, rewards or questioning odd policies, like requiring photo id at curbside pickup when I have a pickup receipt. It can leave me feeling like I'm inconveniencing and or annoying them. I understand that it's impossible to please everyone, and I know working with the public isn't always easy--I've worked in the customer service industry myself. But good old-fashioned customer service really does matter. Smiling, being friendly, and making a customer feel welcome are basic customer service skills, and unfortunately, those basics seem to be missing too often.

I want to be clear--I have absolutely no problem with employees taking a lunch break. They absolutely should. My issue is that there are no lunch closure hours posted on their website, Yelp, or anywhere else I could find. As a busy mom with work, kids, and a schedule to manage, I plan my day around a business's posted hours. It takes me about 20 minutes to drive there and another 20 minutes home, so showing up to a locked door is extremely frustrating. The first time it happened, I let it go because I understand that things come up. But after it happened a second time, I spoke with the manager at the front desk and was told that sometimes they are short-staffed, so they have to close for lunch. I completely understand staffing issues, but if lunchtime closures may happen because of staffing, I think the professional solution is simple: establish a regular lunch closure and post it everywhere your business hours are listed. That gives the staff the break and buffer they need while allowing clients to plan their schedules accordingly. What made the situation even more frustrating was being outside a locked door while I could see several employees inside. I also want to mention that I genuinely enjoy coming here once a week for my injection. It helps keep me accountable, and there are two staff members in particular who are always very nice and who I really enjoy seeing. That's part of the reason this is so disappointing. Unfortunately, after this happening twice, I feel like my only option is to purchase my injections and take them all home with me rather than continuing my weekly visits. I simply don't want to make another 40-minute round trip only to be surprised by a locked door. This isn't about expecting employees to skip lunch. It's simply about respecting your clients' time and communicating accurate business hours. I really hope management addresses this as I know I'm not the only one that this has happened to, we respect your working hours please respect our time too.

I'm not sure if my body simply metabolizes filler quickly, but I didn't feel the results justified the significant price tag. That said, I completely understand how difficult it is for clinicians to find that perfect balance... not doing too little, but also not overdoing it.
