I thought maybe i picked up the sample but called the store and was told it was fine to come back and exchange. When I went to the pick up another edge control i made sure to check and guess what? MOST (6 jars) of the edge controls looked like that. I usually buy that brand and i know what new unopened edge control looks like. The person assisting me told me these edge controls must be dehydrated and to keep checking for a fresh one. I finally found one but what through me off was... He kept all the dehydrated and half filled edge controls on the shelf...Please check your products before purchasing!

Years later, when I became a professional makeup artist, this is where I bought my very first kit, a huge haul of products to start my career. That was a full-circle moment for me. The salon I have been going to closed unexpectedly and it took me weeks to sift through the salons to find Princess. My hair was grown out by the time I got to her and unlike other people who pull and tug on your scalp until it hurts. Princess was gentle. My scalp did not hurt at all when she was finished. And just take a look at her crochet! I look beautiful. I highly recommend her with one caveat, Princess is very religious so you will have to watch a lot of gospel while you are there. Or you can do what I did and watch Netflix on your phone with ear plugs.

Appointment was at 2pm but asked to come in at 1:30pm, they didn't leave until after 7pm. The braids look nice but the experience isn't worth the price. My niece had an appointment and other people were seen during that time. It's really frustrating and not professional to have an appointment and paying so much money for kids braids but having to wait so long because over bookings just to make more money. If you have the time and don't care about waiting and your stylist doing multiple heads at once this is your place. They do nice work and charge $$$. Just not worth paying that for that type of customer service.
