When I spoke with Rose, she told me there was no other artist available to cover on the day of! No warning, no solution, no effort to make it right! I booked a full glam makeup appointment to attend a graduation and Marie dolled me up so perfectly! I was a few minutes early for my appt. but right when I walked in, she was already prepared and waiting for me while greeting me at the door. Based on my history of makeup appts at Sephora, she had everything prepared already and I was impressed big time! I really appreciated Marie making the extra effort to keep the experience fun for the both of us. If she needed to grab more things throughout the store for me, she made the effort. She also explained every step along the way, so that I also learned something new. My favorite part of my look was the eyeliner on my lower waterline, followed by eyeliner setting powder. I had never seen a technique like that and I absolutely loved it! Normally my eyeliner wears off quickly but the way Marie did it, I didn't even have to touch it up later. They have an extensive amount of products for your skin and hair and of course makeup to make you beautiful! This place is well stocked, very clean and offers services like full face makeup for $60. I always had the impression that Sephora was focused more on makeup products but they have an impressive collection of skincare, haircare, and fragrances as well. Since skincare is my weakness, I had a great time coming by just to peruse what they had and choosing some things to take home. Tiffany and Ariel were really helpful when I came to stock up on my skin and hair products this morning! I asked Tiffany where the Ole Henriksen products were while she was replenishing the shelves. She was really kind and quickly finished up what she was doing then showed me over. She realized some of the products were out so she helped stock up on the colors I needed. I didn't know that we could ask if there were more products underneath but she let me know we could always ask the staff to check if a product is out and proceeded to help me find the hair products I needed. When I was checking out, Ariel was really nice and saw the products I was buying then recommended another good hair product that's hydrating for thick, curly hair. In the same area as Nordstrom Rack. Close to 280, not in the main mall. Had a great time here. The store is clean and well laid out, most importantly, the staff is so helpful. I like to ask questions about products, try them out and look at other similar items.... I can do that all here! You can also schedule in-store beauty treatments. I'd like to try out adding semi-permanent eyelashes rather than use mascara. Sounds glamorous! Lots of new and "Beaty insider" products. Hint: Parking is tight, best to park in the larger lot across the street and carefully cross in the crosswalk IF it's a weekend! read more

This review is for Sara, one of their sales associates. My daughter and I surprised my mother with dinner and a birthday trip to Sephora. I said the words every beauty lover wants to hear at the store, "Get whatever you want!" That's my mama, she deserves the world and more. My mom, elated with joy, immediately said, "I would like to try a new foundation." Upon viewing the various beauty brands as well as foundation coverages and finishes, I could tell she was overwhelmed. I reached out to the nearest sales associate, Sara, and she did a foundation assessment based on her skintone and type. My mom's English is good, but when Sara began speaking to her in Spanish, my mom immediately felt comfortable in asking Sara questions like what brushes to use and what primers would she would recommend. Meeting their customers where they're at can make all the difference, and at the end, my mom walked away feeling understood, with tons of beauty tips, and looking like a million bucks! ISTFG coming to Sephora is so overwhelming. I'm not a typical makeup girlie so every single time I walk in, I need to make sure I have screenshots of the things I want because I would just get so lost! I've been coming to this location mostly for Tower 28 Beauty (mascara & lipgloss) + Charlotte Tilbury (lipstick). Lately, I've been wanting to try some foundation, however, I had no clue what my shade is. Upon arrival, the store was visibly busy, all staff was helping customers, I was about to walk out-- until BRANDY approached us & assisted. She was so quick at finding a match for my skin tone, literally just picked up a product and voila! She also helped us pick up more items & even gave me some tips on how to use them. I'm so thankful to have an actual staff assist me. She was so friendly unlike the others who seem annoyed all the freaking time. Brandy, if you are seeing this, you are amazing at what you do & I hope I come across you on my next Sephora run. CONS: This place is almost ALWAYS packed, it's very tight, and just so many things all over so if that is something triggering to you, I highly suggest ordering ahead. Also, the lines for checkout is always so so long. There are some staff who approached us, try to pull us out of the line for CARD PAYMENTS but I tend to refuse because the last time that happened-- the process took longer. DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THIS STORE IT IS A SCAM. Bought a $100 gift card from them and turns out there was no money in it. Called the number on the back of the card, with the store managers present, and was told card was activated but never loaded. The manager Rasha refused to refund me my money. I contacted Sephora customer service and they said the store should be able to resolve the issue. Well, they are not taking responsibility, the manager probably just wants her sales to look good. Rasha also said a customer came in earlier in the day with the same issue, blank gift card. Why are they selling gifts cards with no money in it, this is fraud. read more

This place is definitely a hit or miss. Today I came in to get a color match for foundation. A young Asian girl help me. Instead of color matching on my face. She dig into a empty bottle and match it to the back of my hand and told me that was the right color. I asked for a sample and she told me to try the travel size one. She walks and tell me they don't have the color but I can buy the travel size one that wasn't my color and if I don't like it. I can return it. Amazing customer service. I decided to walk around and look at other foundations. A young Hispanic girl ( Maria) asked if I needed help. I told her yes I would like to get color match for a foundation. This young lady did the exact right thing and pulled out her device and scanned it on my face and matched my color. Not only she did that. She applied the foundation on my actual face to make sure it match, instead the back of my hand. Like the other girl did. Btw I did end up buying the product that was applied to my face :) Sephora please retrain your staff. Applying foundation from a empty bottle and telling the consumer it matches their face is just pure laziness!! read more

The parking at this shopping center is also very tough. Good luck trying to find parking. I'm not an expert at makeup and barely have any idea what I'm doing half of the time and I went in yesterday afternoon needing a good and reliable concealer. Worst Sephora I've ever gone to. The security guard was the only person who even looked my way and greeted me. There were workers arranging since it was 45 minutes until closing, but none of them helped even if I just stood there on my phone comparing products. Went during Friends and Family week to get some new foundation. I asked a a young sales woman for help with the color match. She definitely gave off 'in-training, new employee' vibes....and that should have been my clue to find a someone else. Anyways, I told her what brand I wanted and asked to do color match. She did it. I'm horrible at these things, so I took her advice. And thought it looked fine. Paid and left I got home and realized under different light it was way to light. No biggie, figured it would be an easy exchange for a better matched shade. Nope. I was told that I would have to REBUY the correct foundation at the FULL. PRICE. They refused to honor an even exchange. I also mentioned that that a Sephora employee helped me and it was not the right shade. Nope, they refused to simply do an even exchange. I returned and left. After dealing with such a terrible customer service I now just shop at Nordstroms or Ulta for my makeup. I'm guessing that like with most retail these days, the turnover at Sephora is relatively high, so I don't blame the sales person that incorrectly color matched me....but at least own up to the mistakes of the employees and make it right with the customer. (And provide better training with color match). I did give 2-stars b/c I did enjoy the Perk Facial I received. Super easy, super fast and great results. read more

Was told there is men's fragrance so decided to see what they had and was greeted by 3 staff members. All were busy but i felt welcomed. Abby was very helpful and even told me about their holiday promotion for 20% off my purchase. I had no clue as i barely ever go into sephora for men's fragrance, mainly neiman marcus or Macy's but Sephora does have alot of new popular men's fragrances. No inventory and really bad customer service. There are so many employees walking around but no one is actually there to help you. You have to literally chase someone down and when you finally do, they begrudgingly help. I finally got someone to help me and asked to help shade match and she told me to play around with the colors myself to see which would match and walked away. Inconsistent. I haven't been inside a Sephora in long time since I buy everything online but today I remembered why. I walked in and a bunch of employees were socializing up front and no one greeted myself or the people behind me. I was looking for Laneige and an employee corrected my pronunciation in the most passive way which I found hilarious and rude all at the same time. I grabbed what I needed and the friendly employee with long hair and blue contacts saved my experience. She offered great customer service with a friendly demeanor and charisma. This is for the company not the employees!!! I came in to do a simple return and then get some more things. I used to work at a makeup store so I know a power hour push for credit cards. I had 3 different employees in the 10 minutes I walked in try and sell me a credit card. I had my headphones in , they would come up behind me and then sell me the rewards program.
