My sister wanted to test out a product on display, as she was…read moretesting it out, she sat her car keys on the stand and because the stand had a giant ass hole in the middle of it, the keys fell into the hole. A young lady who worked there approached us and asked us if we needed help. She kindly went to get her manager (I'm assuming) the manager walked up to us and asked my sister "what were you doing?" To which my sister responded and explained that the keys fell into the stand and we couldn't get to them. The younger lady was very kind about the entire thing. They had to use a screwdriver to open up the stand and retrieve the keys. After we got them back my sister thanked them and also apologized for the inconvenience. The younger lady was sweet and said no problem but the older lady (the manager) rolled her eyes and didn't say a word. Next time just give us the damn screw driver and we will get them ourselves. It's one thing to be annoyed but another to be rude. Maybe fix the displays so stuff like that doesn't happen in the future thanks.

Inside shop: spacious, fairly clean, did not see too many staff in the shop, well stocked on most of the shelves, has one of the largest Styling Tools section. Service: we did not need any customer service on this trip, but when in line to check out, there was only 1 staff behind the counter while 3-4 customers were waiting in line. Wait was not long, so we didn't mind. It was a weekday afternoon, so not as busy as the weekend, not sure if that's why staffing was low, or some were happened to be on break at that time frame. For context I have been a regular at this store since it opened. Lived in Odenton for years and the store was definitely needed. It's unfortunate what bad management can do. Another employee was busy servicing another customer, so I approached the empty register and politely asked if he could check me out at the empty register. This man looks at me with the most disgusting look I've ever had directed at me and turns around without a word. Another kind employee stepped in and helped me. To be treated with such disdain as a patron is appalling. I won't be coming back here. If you're in the Odenton/Crofton area and can spare an extra drive, there's nicer beauty supply stores a bit down Rt 3.

Rollers, satin caps, pumice stones, oil sheen, curling irons...you name it, they have it. Certain items I just can't find at other beauty supply stores. The customer service is usually spot on and everyone here is very helpful. The ladies here are more than willing and able to assist you with whatever you're looking for. I do wish they would update their system so they don't have to punch in every single sku number, instead of having a scanner to scan each sku. Seems much easier to me. Sally's is a bit on the pricey side, so make sure you get a Sally's Card to get coupons and check their weekly ads for discounted items.

However today, I purchased some OPI nail polish. But when I went to the register, the sales person rang up the nail polish and then asked if I wanted a bag. Of course I said yes, but then the sales rep rang the bag up and add $0.15 to my bill. $0.15 for a bag, really. Of course I questioned the charge and was told that Sally's decided to go green. I told her that I was not shopping there again, because $0.15 for a bag was absolutely ridiculous. I am not happy with Sally Beauty Supply!

I like the variety of products available, including the costume jewelry. However, I have been to…read morethis store on two separate occasions and purchased small earrings in addition to large items, and both times, when I got home, the earrings were not in the bag. If the family store owners were ringing up my purchases with the small items included, they would never be issues. Unfortunately, I have only experienced this scenario with their outside-hired cashiers. There are cameras in the store, but I am sure the staff all know where they are strategically placed in position. SMH...... Also, the lead cashier, who wasn't a family member of this business, wanted me to walk behind the counter to view their cameras. However, it remained unclear; it looked like the receipt, not the item. I didn't ask the cashier to zoom in on the camera. So, I chalked it up as a loss for the second time as a mistake on my part. I will be more mindful to ensure no more repeats. I will check my bags before leaving the store to avoid further incidents. Nevertheless, the owners need to be cautious about who they hire. This beauty supply store is jam packed with every little thing your heart desires for all of your beauty care needs. Everything from wigs and bundles, to nail polish and earrings, to hats and flip flops, to oil sheen and hair grease....name it, they have it. Friendly operated by employees that don't ever mind helping you find any item you're searching for and they always do it with a smile. Some of the prices can be a little on the steep side, but I rarely go to a beauty supply store that isn't costly. It's conveniently located and it has a wide selection of items. Everything is always neatly organized on the shelves/aisles and the shelves are always fully stocked. The Beauty House never fails me, that's why I'm a repeat customer. So now that my secret is out, stop through and see what they have to offer. You won't be disappointed.
