I'm sure it's crazy on weekends but I came here on a Saturday in April 2026 and not a single employee asked me if I needed help (which I did). All the supplies for sampling were bare bones everywhere I looked and every section of products I attempted to sample were either almost completely empty or dirty, disgusting and unkempt. It was so packed and hard to navigate aisles that it was very overwhelming so I only stayed for about 15 minutes, didn't bother trying to buy anything and left. Horrible experience at Sephora. There's a lady named Anitricia or something and I asked her a simple question about makeup and how to do it. She nearly bit my head off by telling me it wouldn't suit my skin tone and belittling me the whole time. I was in shock..even the coworkers looked like they hated her. She has no real skill at all because she will just say it doesn't suit you (cop out) instead of telling you how to do something. This Sephora is in the Galleria area, but it's not actually in the mall. It is around the other nicer stores and has its own parking lot. It's really tight in the parking lot, so it's really annoying to get in and out. The inside smells so strongly of perfume. I hated it. Employees were nice when I asked questions. read more

I came to Sephora on a Sunday morning inside the mall while it was a very slow morning. Miss Alissa at the mall was so unprofessional, she walked up to me as I was trying to put makeup on and asked if I needed a color match, I told her no thank you and I proceeded to test out make up. Immediately after that she continues to say "we usually don't allow people to do the testing in this area..." (I'm standing by the sink which is in the middle of the store with MIRRORS) I proceeded to say oh I guess you want me to leave then, I will just then... The associates response was "okay!" So I leave Sephora without purchasing anything! Mind you, it is early in the morning and nobody is inside of the store shopping, my experience as a buyer simply trying to test make up on at a make up store that was empty was very annoying. Countless of available sales people who couldn't help me because they had to "stay in their zone" and couldn't walk over to the area I needed help in. Sephora has great products. But the staffs at this location are known for bad performance in customer service, and we all experienced that today. Most of them rather stand around chit chat with their own staffs, than help out customers. When you do ask for a quick question, they stood in their own chit chat circle with other employees, but they don't want to help out. So they just fake it and point with their fingers and tell customers to go look for products somewhere else by themselves in the store, this happened twice with 2 different staffs at different aisles, while we were at this store location. On a side note, please have some of your employees follow the Guidelines of Sephora employee's Dress Code at this location. I am sure the Sephora head quarters wants to keep place of business meeting the standard requirements for a family friendly setting, with age appropriate entertainment for all customers to enjoy. read more

All of the staff was extremely helpful as they always are when I visit this location. Came yesterday for new make-up brushes. They were sold out of their deluxe kit that includes all of the makeup brushes . But I got some other really good stuff anyway. All the products I got helps with more detail and definition. I got a Charlotte Tilbury Brow Cheat eye brow pencil that fills in a brow with precision like no other , a lip stick pen made by Hour Glass called, "I Can't Wait", and Kiehl's clearly corrective dark spot solution. My cousin swears by Kiehl's products. She has smooth skin so I had to listen . Employees are down to earth yet full of energy, very informative and friendly. read more

Talk about made to feel special! I casually popped in to buy a bottle of Marc Jacobs nail polish. Little did I know that I would be educated on the ins and outs of the nail business. The sales associate who assisted me, Keidra, was extremely friendly and outgoing without being fake. She took her time, showed me various colors from the line that she liked for my skin tone and even used a device to find the best lipstick colors for my skin tone. Sweet! But, the real treat came at checkout when the cashier Dee told me about the best products to make a manicure last and why! Frequently, associates tell you to get this or that but rarely do they explain why. This lady knew nails, nail polish and techniques inside and out. And of course, her nails were super fly. If you want to learn what to and what not to buy with regards to your nail care needs, you'll need to visit Sephora ASAP. But since you're reading this today, I'll leave you with one tip. I am a Rouge status: I like Sephora and enjoy shopping there BUT I was in Sephora today at the galleria location while browsing a saleswoman came up to me who appeared to be working exclusively for KAYALI (HUDA Beauty) Fragrances and gave me a slip of paper to smell one of the KAYALI scents on. She then told me something about the KAYALI fragrances being on sale (or something like that) I politely smelled the scent, listened, and immediately threw the slip of paper away. There was a KAYALI table set up in the back of the store in the fragrance area as well which is strange because I have never seen that before. Sephora must be having a hard time selling KAYALI and are trying to push it now. I have never and will never buy anything owned by Huda Kattan- so no HUDA beauty, KAYALI, skincare- wishful, and any other thing she has touched...... Sephora needs to get all of Huda Kattan's junk out of their stores.... I also do not want to go into Sephora and be approached by a saleswoman who is supporting and trying to sell me a product that supports a brand that is anti Semitic.... The lack of transparency sephora has shown about the desires of Huda beauty and every brand owned by Huda Kattan (kAYALI) is very unsettling.....Sephora keeping Huda kattans products in their stores is saying and supporting the same anti Semitic message Huda Kattan has made which is "I don't want blood money" (from Israeli- Jewish customers) so Sephora- you keeping Huda Kattans products in your store means you support her sentiments.... read more

The service here keeps getting worse. I stood in there forever waiting for service and was completely ignored. I stopped someone and asked for service. She said she would send someone. I continued to stand there looking like an idiot. I see the same woman I asked for help assisting someone else. She then comes over to me and says, "The other person is busy, I guess I can help you," like she was doing me a favor. I told her I didn't feel like I was receiving any service and I'd prefer to spend my money elsewhere and left. I spend thousands each year at Sephora as a V.I.B. (and was spending hundreds today at several stores) but I have decided as of today to stop shopping at Sephora altogether. They have been missing the mark on service for years. I've decided to start shopping directly at the Nars store and visit other makeup counters to buy the brands I need. These stores don't even care about reviews. After going to the Times Blvd. location and not getting help my daughter and I went to this location. Hoping for better luck. Of course they were BUSY. The ladies were looking at all the great products and the men were hanging out at the front of the store playing in their phones. Lol The associates were very friendly. Several of them asked if we were finding everything ok & did we need any help etc.... The associates were in "sections" to work that area & they could not leave that area to help you in another "section." That was kinda different but I know why they do that. After finding what my daughter was looking for an associate, Michelle came to help her. Michelle has tons of helping information for my daughter and had her try a new stick foundation. My daughter hates stick foundation. But, after she put it on my daughter it looked amazing. Flawless and just beautiful. Her also tried something else(?) on her and of course my daughter loved that too. My daughter originally came in for a different foundation but with the info. Michelle gave her she ending up buying the stick and the other product. And is coming back for another item later on. Thanks Michelle for knowing what you are selling and passing it on. Some of the colors they carry I can not find anywhere else! Last Christmas my sister purchased a kit with a lot of different eyeshadows, lipstick colors and even blush. I immediately drove one mile to the Galleria and was sadden to learn they were sold out. I looked for that kit everywhere until in Vegas one of the ladies told me they usually sell them during the holidays. When easter came around I was sure to be one of the first to buy mine! And I adore my color kit! YES I DO! I paid $50 for that kit, which to me is a great value, worth every penny! read more

I don't know if the day I was going it was QA (quality assurance) or if they're trying to re-brand of something but I liked it! The associates that day were super friendly, I had several asking me if I needed any help. Usually I get the glares or the "KLEPTOMANIAC" look but nope, not that certain day! The lady at the register gave me A TON of samples. 12 to be exact! I was super excited and happy over this because this was the first time I have ever received samples from Sephora (And I go to Sephora almost WEEKLY). As I was leaving, they were even asking me how everything was and my experience. For once, Sephora felt welcoming to me and even hospitable. Why did I dock one star? Because I have never been to a Sephora where their Testers were up to par. Even here the Testers need to be looked at. Most of the time, there's a Tester that's missing, clunky, or just plain nasty. I was very pleasantly surprised to hear an employee not take the opportunity just to constantly peddle more and more products, especially in the beauty industry which can be notorious for doing that. Store is well stocked and looks neat. But all most employees care about is up-selling to you. I went in to restock on my Sephora translucent setting powder. I asked the lady (didn't catch her name) for her to show me where it is. Her response immediately was "Oh look, let me show you this one. It's more like expensive than what you're looking for but it's better for your skin because it doesn't contain talc."- I trusted her suggestion and when I'm ready to put my makeup on the next day, the very first ingredient on the setting powder said "TALC". This Sephora is not the nearest store to me but my sister and I came here for the Flawless Foundations class. This store is HUGE! It is the biggest Sephora I have seen and I love it! When I'm browsing for make-up, I want to have a wide range of selections to compare. I know it may be overwhelming with too many options, but I love to be overwhelmed at a make-up store! The class was on a Saturday from 10 am -noon. We first sat down and one of the facilitator took a scan of our skin to determine our skin "color" to color match a foundation. We were given some handouts with make-up terminologies and definitions. They discussed the different types of foundations that work best with specific skin type. They also demo'ed on a model on how to apply foundation and showcase the different products they have in the store that will help with applying foundation, such as moisturizers, primers, concealers, and makeup setting products. I quickly caught on that this was a sales class. While it's a sales class, they did provide very useful information that will help me better select a foundation in the future. The facilitators were knowledgeable, attentive, patient and nice. I still have a bunch of makeup at home so I didn't buy anything after the class, but my sister bought almost $300 worth of products. Overall, I would definitely recommend taking the Flawless Foundations class at least once just to get an overview of different products in the market. I also recommend visiting the Galleria store due to its enormity and the customer service. I deducted one star just because the class extended until 12:45 pm instead of the scheduled time at noon. read more

So I agree to go to this Sephora Play Date thingy with the gf because at the last one in memorial they gave out freebies she said... Goodie bags.... Well, we sat there for 2 hours watching them demo products and test them on your hand, we got no freebies. Okay we got like two sample packets from one brand, seriously. You had to buy something to get a free selfie light thingy, they say FREE! Ummm, not really. Anyways, I guess I learn a little about facial moisturizer, but still NO freebies is such a waste of time. I could of easily just went into the store and ask about products instead of sit there for 2 hours and got nothing. I could walk around and test the products myself too. I'm not very pleased with my experience. I mean the staff there were friendly but still. You only attract customers to such events when you give out free samples and show them that it's worth buying from Sephora. Also, I could easily buy those products at other stores so in my opinion, they need to step it up a notch at these events!! read more

This is the absolute WORST Sephora store I have ever been to. The "beauty consultants" have obviously never been trained in actual customer service. They walk around loudly bad mouthing customers and would rather follow customers around making nasty snide comments than actually helping customers. The worst is some lady named Cici who would rather be anywhere than at Sephora. If you see her, turn the other way so you don't have to deal with her trashy behavior. COVID-19 review: I went around 11am on a Saturday to restock on makeup. When entering, they give you hand sanitizer and check your temperature. They also ask what you are looking for and instantly page an employee to grab all the items that you need. They then direct you to an area and an employee meets you with all of your items and you are ready to go! It was super quick and easy. They also stated they are not allowing any try on samples. read more

I found the mascara display with all of the different brands, but needed the waterproof version of the Better Than Sex mascara. A sales rep told me to go to the Too Faced round something, which makes no sense because the brand-specific displays are more like mini counters that don't resemble anything round. At the very least I found the mascara and had a much better experience at the checkout counter on the side. Interestingly, they have people who are willing to check you out at the front of the store and in the back aside from the main counter, but some employees will get upset if you get in line at one of them. Probably because the store was so packed that it messed with the flow of the store. read more

This was definitely the best Sephora visit I've ever had. Eric was so helpful, knowledgeable on different products & how to apply them, and PATIENT. Long story short I went in needing a bronzer, but I didn't want a very orange based or pink undertoned product. I'm a medium-brown skin tone but I have yellow undertones, so a lot of bronzers & foundations tend to turn orange on me once they oxidize. I didn't have a brand or price in mind, I just wanted a powder formula, true brown "bronzer". Eric was very patient and listened to me rant about different brands, my undertones, how I wanna look natural in outdoor lighting, how I didn't wanna use anything cream-based, etc. He listened to every detail, took everything I said into consideration, and showed me MULTIPLE options from brands that weren't even in his section, APPLIED them on my hand for me, and then tried the top two shades on my face. He also showed me applications with different brushes so that I can tone up or down how harsh my bronzer looks, and how the products would look in different lighting. I had a lot of questions and he answered in detail every last one. All of this took place in a matter of 6 minutes. Eric, I really appreciate you & I hope I wasn't too tough on you.
