Worst customer service ever don't recommend buying from here. Overall one of the worst experiences

did a Buy online pick up in store spent $140 among many other purchases I made that month, and one of my items was missing. the associate that helped me disappeared into the back for 30 minutes and was checking the cameras and came back all casual saying that she counted all six items were picked and there's no extra inventory so basically I'm the one lying. She couldn't care less. She told me it was my responsibility to check my bags before I leave and that I could go through customer service but they'll say the same thing. Customer service took me at my word and immediately gave me a refund. The management in this location sucks. I spend a lot of money at Sephora. They were really shitty about it. It hurt my feelings. I had to come to do an exchange on a foundation I picked up at the galleria. I did not check to see if it was the correct foundation in the right spot, and of course it wasn't. I didn't notice until I opened it up and got about a half pump out and immediately knew it was wrong. Fortunately for me, they take back opened product! Just another reason to love Sephora. Lo and behold, they did not have my desired color in stock. Because sometimes that is just my luck. But again, Sephora customer service to the rescue! They took my open foundation, ordered my desired shade, shipped it to my house, and asked me if I would like to use my points for a free gift. No charge for the shipping, it will be on my doorstep in three days. I have eczema and rosacea and have to use good products, and for the amount of money I spend on makeup, I won't shop where I don't get good service. I LOVE Sephora. Though when I am shopping I put a timer on my Fitbit and only allow 15 minutes or my debit card starts smoking. Lol read more

This was make-up porn for me. Horrible analogy, but so the truth. I had never been here before, I always took my lazy behind to Ulta for makeup, which is great, HOWEVER there is a vast difference in the way these two operate. My BF got me a giftcard here for Xmas, and I thought "how sweet", I'll go get some perfume....that's it. I don't wear a lot of make-up. Mascara, eye shadow, liner, bronzer, lipgloss. Done. But when I saw all the different things that could actually try....I think I lost it. I was a trying on fool up there. The fact that I can TRY make-up safely and sanitarily kinda made me excited. That is the main reason I never buy different things, I never know how they are going to look on me. But with EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT they have out for you to try with access to q-tips, makeup remover, sanitzer, disposable eye lash combs...and helpful staff to assist in all of that....it was 'gasm time in my world of beauty. I ended up purchasing WAY more than perfume, which btw, my Armani Code was only 39.50 there....as opposed to $50 elsewhere, and I found myself not only pledging my loyalty by becoming a beauty insider, but making an oath in the middle of the store that I will no longer buy make-up just because it's cheap, but because it's safe for my sensitive skin and I don't have to settle for just one shade of eyeshadow...I can look good in high pigment colors too! I don't have to buy just covergirl and l'oreal....it's okay to like Clinique and Benefit even though they cost a little more.....and by george it's ok to use blush as an eyeshadow sometimes!!!! **drops megaphone and steps off soapbox** :) read more

Today, I stopped in to get a new foundation but was unsure what to get as I wanted to try something new. I spoke with Lisa who was friends knowledgeable and efficient color matching me. She took into account my needs based on skin type as well as what I personally wanted out of the product. Next time I need help I will be going directly to her. She was fantastic! read more

I went in with my mother today to ask a specific question regarding setting sprays the store carries, and I walked away feeling very put out and upset. We were treated as if we weren't good enough to shop there and received service straight out of a scene in Selena or Pretty Woman. The associate acted like I didn't know what I was talking about when I asked questions about a specific type of setting spray. She then showed me one of the most expensive brands in the store, along with a slightly less expensive option. I told her that I'm not interested in purchasing from a brand that sells eye shadow palettes for $120 a piece, and when my mom brought up that she used to enjoy Urban Decay palettes but had to stop purchasing them years ago when she had less money, the associate had had enough. We clearly weren't worth her time since we weren't buying from an ultra expensive brand, so she dismissed me to the other side of the store to look at minis (which I never asked for), ignored my mother when she tried to ask questions about eye creams, and walked away without another word. There was only one other customer in the store and two other associates, so there was no reason for her to leave. She made us both feel very unwelcomed, like we were too poor to shop there, when we had every intention of walking out with a purchase. We left soon after and won't be returning. read more

Holy Batman! I love this place. If I can't die in the arms of my lover (Paul H. of nyc) then I would love to kick the bucket here. I love make-up. Granted I don't doll up every day (sleep is higher on the priority list than blush and lipstick) but when I need to look drop dead sexy, this is where I buy my arsenal of goods. I went here the other day with my girlfriend and we were in search of a lot of goodies. The first chick we talked to kind of bullied us around so we hid from her and searched for a nicer lady. We stumbled upon Opal who was a God send. Honestly this chick can make your skin look flawless in about 30 seconds. We learned how to use a bronzer correctly, the purpose of an eyeshadow base and how to shrink our pores! I love that this place isn't just for the ladies. There's a wall of cologne and a section dedicated to men's face care. Every saleslady has a specialty so pay attention to their little tags. It indicates where their expertise lie. Stuff can be expensive here so ask for FREE SAMPLES!!! Try on the make up. Play with the lip glosses and perfume. You don't know what it'll be like until you give things a try. :D read more

The employees are very helpful, and knowledgeable of all supplies. My lady pushed other products down my throat and all of which where crazy expensive! I need to go back to being a sugar baby to shop here for everything I want. $19 Kat von d eyeliner, $45 laura mercier powder. I love sephora and honestly i was torn between 3stars or 4. Nothing to do with the products or prices cause when you walk in a sephora you know what your paying for. My rating is based on the employees. these employees are not bad there just not very knowledgeable on the products. I will say if you need a certain product and all stores are sold out, this one might actually have it. Ive found so many items here. But when i need help regarding certain products and guidance they fall a bit short. They just tell me to buy it and i can return. But thats not the point. the honest truth is if i buy something i want to make sure it could work for me. Doesnt mean i wont come here the employees are nice and try to be helpful. I would have given this place zero stars if it were possible. I went in today trying to find sone makeup and needed help with matching. I stood around waiting for someone to come help me, when no one did I asked for help and was told a color specialist would be out shortly to help me. One came out but she sure didn't come over to me. I asked for help again and a few more came out but none came to me. I was getting visibly upset as I had been standing there waiting for awhile and the color specialist was super rude and told me to wait my turn. I will never go there again. I went to Ulta instead and they were super helpful and even hooked me up with done samples. read more

Worst experience ever! Very rude employees!! I went in looking for a product but before entering the store the associate at the front was forcing my 2 year old to wear a mask. Which was fine I told her he might not be able to keep it on being there he's still so young he doesn't understand. So she told me if he can't keep it on then I could shop from outside of the store? I wanted to look around... so Already I felt uncomfortable! My 2 year old doesn't wear a mask so he's not used to it and she told me that it's cooperate policy. Which I respect. But that can't be true because no where have I seen that a 2 year old has to wear a mask in Sephora. We have been plenty of times during this pandemic and never have they forced him to wear one. So he put his mask on and then takes it off of course. I'm looking around and another associate approaches me and tells me if he doesn't keep his mask on we would have to leave. We were the only ones in the store. I felt so rushed and uncomfortable because they were pushing the issue. He wasn't going to keep his mask on so I had to hurry up and leave. I will never go back to that Sephora that's just wrong in my opinion. I felt like they didn't want our business so I left! read more

I love Sephora, this location is one of the bigger ones I go to. The layout is good and the products are usually displayed great. The staff was really friendly and answered my questions. I've returned a couple of things and I haven't had any issues. This store gets a lot of people so there are times where they don't have what I'm looking for, but when that happens i usually go to the jcp in the mall and check. Sometimes they'll have it but it's a smaller store so it's all about luck. read more

I took one of my teenage daughters who has been getting picked on a little bit at school just to lift her spirits. We had Arie who was amazing. She was so nice and since my daughter is still pretty young, didn't over do it but just reassured her how pretty she was and the good things and then we bought a couple little fun things my daughter could use if she wanted to. It's just a fun date if you are trying to connect with your teenager. Highly recommend Arie who is as vibrant as can be and really, really good at makeup :) read more

Wow, great customer service here deserves 5 stars! Erykah spent a long time helping us try different perfumes and allowed us to take home a few samples before making a decision! She was friendly, sweet, and made sure to let us know of all of our options online and in their bundle perfume sets! I've really tried to like this Sephora. It's always clean and well stocked, for the most part. However, the few times I've asked for help (rarely ever offered), the employee doesn't know the product. I also typically spend no less than $70 each time I go in. Every. Single. Time. The individuals in front of me who are spending $30 or less are offered tons of samples. I've asked and been told no or that they were out. (Such a lie as a few moments later I watched samples handed to someone who had been behind me in line.) I actually try out and BUY sample products so I'm not just out for something free. From now on I'll just order online. At least there I can select my own, samples, will never have a rude customer service experience and I can spend my "points" without having to ask since it tells me what's available. Plus I'd rather google reviews than beg for attention from someone who doesn't know what they're talking about anyhow. So unless the other Sephora is out of something I absolutely need that day, I doubt I'll be back. read more

I love Sephora. I don't like that it's so expensive, but it's Sephora...you know what you're getting. It's not fair to rate that it's too expensive when you know that going in. The reason for my review is that I used to avoid this store because the employees were stuck up and too busy to help customers. I would intend to ask for product samples but would usually just leave without getting them because everyone seemed too busy. They seemed like you were personally putting them out if you asked them to help you. I felt like they were judging me and it was just a really unfriendly vibe. I'm not sure what happened. I don't know if they got all new employees or coaching from Sephora corporate or were replaced by pod people or what. But I like it! The most recent time I went in there it was a totally different experience. People were asking me if I needed help! They were approachable! I was shocked, really. I ended up spending $90 dollars which is a record for me. Keep it up Sephora...or maybe don't. My budget probably would prefer that went go back to the crappy service. But as of right now I'm already trying to think of when I can afford to go again. read more
