Do not recommend & will not return. I made an appointment for 4:30 and was not seen until 5:15. The nail techs had a difficult time selecting a basic light pink color for my toes. But worst of all, my gel nails started peeling just THREE days after getting them done. Not to mention the two TVs in the salon were showing gross episodes of fisherman chopping and sawing massive fishes heads etc (not exactly relaxing). read more

I went with my 14 yrs old daughter whose pedicure was an additional service to mine. they started with her, and I noticed the lady working on her was very very good. i asked them if they can switch to allow her to do my pedicure and my lady would go do hers? i was told it is not possible. how come? I am the one paying for both services, I needed more work to be done on me but my lady could not even hold the tools. I thought it was a joke, the manager refused to acknowledge my dissatisfaction. I declined the warm stones portion of the service, paid and left. there is something we call Customer Service, if you miss it, you miss the purpose of doing business with human being. I have gotten my nails done here off and on for over 20 years. Decided to get a pedicure & my nails done because I was in the area. It had been at least 5 years at this point. The salon is just trashy & filthy. The towels and nail brushes look like they were 20 years old. After one week I had to return because one of my nails was lifting. When Tom took that nail off there was mold. I ask him to just take them all off. There was a total of 3 of my nails with mold! They charged me an additional fee of $12 to take them all off. I don't care about that I just wanted to get out of there. I knew I would never return there. Since that visit I also developed a toenail fungus that I have dealt with for about a year! My doctor gave me a prescription for it but this is hard to deal with. I always like Tom and his wife but I think it is time for this place to be closed down. It is UNSAFE!! read more

Fastest gel nails of my life. They got chipped the next day but remained fairly intact a month later. Tom himself did them, and he is quite a charming character. Okay, so I got a new job n gels are a no-no. The chick then attempted to scrape them off! I requeted that she use acetone, as my nails were peeling, breaking, and my fingers even bled at one point. I also wouldn't go there for a pedicure. They act like they're scared to touch your feet. I think the only thing they're good at is the eyebrow waxing. Got a pedi here today and it was a good experience. I had the callus package pedi for $35 and it was so worth it! he scrubbed all the dead skin off and I even got the wax to dip my feet in. Makes my feet so smooth! I intended to get just the delux pedi when I came in but saw the package for just $7 more I had to get it. Prices are reasonable and affordable! about $28 for a normal pedi. They are very nice and they dont talk about you while you're there. Trust me, I'm Viet myself and I understand Vietnamese. I paid close attention. I'm definitely coming back! read more

This place is great! The prices are awesome and they are such a sweet team of people. The shop is pristine, clean and welcoming. If you really want to pamper yourself, get one of their pedicures! I loved my lavender one. I also got my first powder nails done there and LOVE them. They worked with me since I wanted some specific color work done and even helped me file them down to a more manageable size the next day since I am super clumsy. Today I came in after slamming my finger in a cabinet, breaking my nail clear in half (I told you I am klutz!), and they were able to patch me up like new and give me the cutest filler to my nails. Very very unhappy with my nails. They were very poorly done. I got gel polish, very quick and easy and my nails are chipping within a week which has never happened at any other place. The nail technician just rushed through them and they weren't even busy. I have streaks so noticeable, so thin looks like regular polish. This place is a joke and a waste of money. read more

After reading stellar reviews on Tom Nail, my mom, sister and I went to check it out. Overall, the service was very friendly, and they did pay a lot of attention to detail. I am concerned about the sanitation of the salon, however. They just had the tools in a plastic box, with no evidence that they had been cleaned. This bothered me because I called before I came in to ask if they had the tools in those plastic packages that they rip open to show they had been sanitized, and they said yes. When I mentioned this, they came out of the back with the tools in the plastic packages, but they didn't even rip them open, they were just able to dump them out! Which to me means they took the unclean tools and stuck them in the package to trick me. Couple other beefs: Very little color selection, and it is clear a lot of the polishes had been diluted to make them last longer. They also advertise on their window "$19.99 pedicures" which aren't on their "menu," you have to specially request it (which means no sugar scrub, etc.) Somewhat deceitful. They do a great callus removal, and my nails look good - but I still won't be back. read more

My friend and I had made an appointment to get pedicures. I don't think making an appointment helps much, for we had to wait until 20 minutes after the time of appointment to be seated. The nail color selection was a bit limited as well. My friend wanted chocolate brown and they did not have anything near that color. Now with those glitches out of the way, the service was good. We got deluxe pedicures ($28/person) and the foot massages were relaxing and our toe nails looked great. They were pretty busy (granted it may be because it was Saturday) and had to ask some people to come back in an hour or hour and a half (better than having them just wait). I had a conflict with one of the girls. I went in for a pedicure and fill. I picked out the polish and they asked if I wanted the same color on my toes. I said yes. After my toes were done and I had moved to the manicure seat she started to paint my nails. I stopped her and told her that's not the same color as my toes. She said"Yes it is" and continued painting. After my nails were dry I stood up and looked at my toes. The were definently a different color. Toes were a red color, nails were orange. I told the girl and she said "Oh no, they r the same."She discussed it in her language with the pedicure lady. She came back to me and tryed to tell me that because my fingernails had more surface that's why they look different. I had already paid for both services. I left shaking my head. Thru out the rest of the day I asked several people what the thought and everyone said they were a different color. To make a already long post short, I went back the next day, after calling 3 different times to talk to the manager, and asked for the manager, explained what happened and after much discussion, in their language, they finally repainted my nails. Went here with my niece a week ago for a "back to school" mani/pedi and we had a great experience. The customer service was wonderful! The man who did my niece's mani/pedi made her feel very special (she's 8) and was very good with her, he even surprised her at the end of her pedicure by doing designs on her big toes (and, no, he didn't charge me for it). My sister and I were given seats next to my niece's chair and offered drinks a couple of times. Her nails looked great and have held up well.
