Since I had been a customer there previously, I expected to pay more, but I certainly wasn't expecting what came next. I received a text message informing me that my one-time massage would cost $180. I was then told I could receive the $89.99 rate if I signed up for a 12-month membership. I informed the business that I was not interested in a membership. They then offered a shorter 3-month membership for $109 per month. At that point, I canceled my appointment. The enormous gap between the advertised price and the price I was actually quoted created a deceptive and misleading customer experience. For a company built around wellness, relaxation, and self-care, the pricing experience felt surprisingly stressful. Customers should know what they're likely to pay before investing time in scheduling an appointment. Because I felt the pricing practices were misleading, I submitted a complaint to the FTC for review.

Unfortunately, I have to give a bad review for this company. I was going to this location for about…read morea year and loved my aesthetician and was using her over and over again. In December 2023 I purchased packages because I was going so often to get waxed it sounded like a great deal pay for your waxes ahead of time and just get waxed for the next 12 months with having to pay every time. It was great until my aesthetician was let go in the month of June 2024 and she opened her own shop so of course I followed. I called EWC to request a refund and was unaware of the 30-day package purchase policy and now I can't get refunded for the remaining packages it can only be used as store credit now. I am no longer going back to EWC for product or waxing and now this money is just sitting at this company not being used. I understand policies are implemented for a reason but when I have no control over my aesthetician get fired and not wanting to go to some random person to wax my lady bits the company should respect that and refund the money and not try to keep the money a make me use them or their products.

I was not told that tte door would be locked or was given a # to text. This location was 45 minutes from my house but it took longer because of the work on 25. Then I waited in the 90 degree heat. When I got the text, I pounded on the door and Jenna came to the door and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I complained about wasting 2.5 hours round trip and then she said that I was not nice and she could not work with me. Sure, she sat in air conditioning and could not bother to check to see if I was at the door while I melted in the heat. To make it worse, she never apologized. I cannot recommend anyone who is so lazy and unable to take responsibility for her part in the trouble she caused for me. I can't speak for others here, but I recommend you don't book with Jenna.
