This is the worst management team I have encountered down at union square Sephora. Kip, Kathy, and Luis are a 3 headed demon and will schedule you on days you have school, Dr. appointments or anything important so that you will most likely have to call out and get a write up. I have never seen such childish and immature behavior from management. Luis was getting ready to get fired from a location in times square and he called his friend (KIPTON) to give him a job. So Kipton saved an employee who was about to get fired(AFTER ALREADY BEING TRANSFERRED FROM ANOTHER STORE BECAUSE OF THE PROBLEMS HE CAUSES) HE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED IN SEPHORA UNION SQUARE PERIOD!! He was getting fired for a REASON. He has already caused drama and cast that knew him from previous stores(where he was about to get fired from) knew how much trouble he was and Kip(Union Sq Store manager) brought him in anyway. Kathy had to be moved from department to department because she couldn't get along with ANYONE. everyone hated her because of the sick and double crossing things she did. For one. Two of my co workers were pregnant and she would purposely schedule the girls to work on the days they had drys appointments. She also scheduled people to work on the days and exact times they had school and wouldn't change it in the schedule for them. She would just say "try to find a switch" and if we couldn't she would write us up. It got to the point where she would lie so much that Kip(after hearing complaints from EVERY department) she was not allowed to have one on one meetings. Especially after she got in the face of one of the employees. She has an anger problem that Kipton admits and has told cast that he has spoken with her in regards to dealing with situations more professionally. That is a major problem and a problem that hard working honest employees should not have to deal with. Working there was such torture. We formed a group to call HR, but one of us called and was told we could not be anonymous. This was important because we felt that if any of those three managers found out, they will try to get us out. We had no choice but to try and stick together and get some kind of justice without management knowing. Now there are many other things I can say about Kathy and Luis and how they do not embody any type of characteristics a good manager should have, but I must move on to the Head of the store. He came from the flat iron store. I spoke with a couple of employees who worked with him during his time there and they said they came to the location I was in because Kip kept on hiring gay men and they became uncomfortable(these are female coworkers). So he comes to our location,Brings in Luis(who was about to get fired by sephora) And month after month he started hiring guy after guy after guy. A lot of our best and hard working employees left and quit because of how much worse this team was making the store.Kip even denied a girl unemployment who couldn't make it to work because she lost her babysitter. He even fired her. He fires a girl who is trying to take care of herself and her daughter and THENN denies her the only financial help she can get?! Before Kip we had Erin as our Store manager and we would make bonus and goals almost EVERY month She knew how to manage a store and she NEVER allowed any little groups to form between management. There were never any favorites and everyone was treated equally. Its gotten so bad that coworkers, even brand reps(who know them a little more personally) was telling us about him being very very close to a member from management, everyone already knew though because they were ALWAYS together. He'd even take him out to lunch when he already had lunch or when it wasn't even his lunch hour. It was very obvious there was and still is something going on between them. There is just a lot of mess that goes on in that store and they really treat the employees there unfairly. While I was working there a client who shopped at our store for years wrote a complaint about management and it was swept under the rug. The unjust things that go on in the store are ridiculous and it really REALLY needs to stop before someone files a lawsuit. This needs to be out there and it needs to be seen by someone who can do something. People in there are suffering. Those 3 Do WHAT EVER THEY WANT and CONSTANTLY get away with it! read more

I've often struggled to find the right men's grooming products that suit my needs, but my experience at this Sephora location was fantastic! The staff was exceptionally knowledgeable and eager to assist me. They took the time to understand what I was looking for and guided me to some of the best brands tailored specifically for men. I really appreciated their personalized recommendations; it made the process feel so much less overwhelming. Additionally, the store's layout is very user-friendly, making it easy to find what I needed without any hassle. I walked away with several amazing products that I can't wait to try. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. Every single associate I encountered was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. I'm very disappointed and from here on out I refuse to ever shop or even walk into another sephora again. I come to sephora all the time and I have been a loyal customer to them and the attitude I was given is unacceptable. I am DISGUSTED by the way I was treated here. If I could I would give them no stars but unfortunately I am forced to give them one, which they completely do not deserve. Do not come here unless you enjoy being treated like trash. I love, love, love this store. It is perfect for any beauty obsessed gal like myself. You can go in there and spend hours and hours having fun with cosmetics, perfume and hair products. Most of the lines are pricey such as Nars, Givenchy, lancome, Frederic Fekkai, Rene Furterer, and Phyto.The sales people are very knowledgeable and will give you free makeovers or beauty advice if you ask. You can do an office look or do something wild and fun like glitter makeup from Urban Decay for a night out clubbing. They also have an in house sephora brand which is more reasonably priced. You definitely nust visit this store if you are in Union Square. read more

I spend a lot of money at Sephora. I will legit drop $100 on an eye cream, $150 on a serum, and $175 on a face cream because I love taking care of my skin. Sometimes I feel like Sephora could work on their customer service. But for the most part I usually have neutral/good experiences at Sephora. i only shop at sephora whennit comes to cosmetics. I have been to many different sephoras around ny, but this one is one of the best. Its huge and and in a great location. There are always so many employees around to help. The store is clean and organized and its huge so you can find almost anything there. Completely dissatisfied and disappointed with Sephora. I've had accumulated over 1500 reward points (1720 to be exact) and because I didn't keep spending money, my reward points were taken away.
