I went there with a friend. I did not purchase anything. The fragrance aromas are overwhelming upon entering the store. Not something I like. They don't carry the brand of cosmetics I purchase so I just walked around while my friend shopped for what they wanted. It was nice for what it was, but I'm not impressed with the store chain. I do not always have a good experience when I shop here. However... Today, Lexi helped me and greatly improved my opinion of Sephora. She was friendly, knowledgeable and super patient with me as I expressed my skin concerns & what results I was looking for in cosmetics. She took the time to actually hear me and she was genuine in helping. Lexi was great at providing options with their pros and cons (for my needs) and for the first time in a long time, I am really happy with my purchases and excited to use them all. And even though I hadn't planned on spending the amount that I did when I first walked in, I feel good about it. One thing I wished was to be able to tip Lexi for all her time & help. Although she was super grateful, she said she couldn't accept. In this day where everyone is asking for a tip, even when they just grab something off a shelf & hand it to you, I was disappointed that I couldn't show my appreciation for true, quality service (time & effort) that was provided. I hope Lexi at least gets a commission. Now that I know she's there, I will go back for more since I want to re-do / update my cosmetic case. Hi. I stopped at the Kohl's and visited for the first time and was a horrible experience. The young lady at counter is horrible and was texting on phone the entire time. Never greeted me, never looked up, she has glasses and burgundy hair and name is Avery. I don't know if he is too young and immature to speak but I will never come back to the location. She is never in her section and always talking to another girl who works at Kohl's. I'm always spending money here and it was bad. read more

Honestly, I have been in that store quite a few times and it's not one of my favorites because I never really feel greeted or taken care of. I just feel helped. However, this time as I was going in for a return, Mary asked me if I needed help and was so amazing because I care about ingredients in products and was going around with my yuka app just to make sure I can find some excellent scoring products. Mary supported me every step of the way, made suggestions, and helped me to find products that were to par with my desired ratings. I can honestly say I have never experienced customer service such as I did with Mary, she was so kind, helpful, supportive, and did not make me feel like I was a burden because I had certain expectations. She is an example that I wish every person in customer service was. She made me feel appreciated not only as a customer, but as a human being. She completely changed my perception of any Sephora store I've ever gone to since I find most of those stores have similar status quo customer service reps. I hope that Mary is acknowledged and appreciated for who she is as an employee and as a person. She was God sent, and the most amazing customer service rep that I have ever dealt with. She is a very unique, genuine, loving, and amazing human being. I could not have had a better experience and I am beyond grateful for it. Head manager woman was so rude, upon check out.. I asked to have my items bagged in 3 separate bags because they were going to 3 different people. The sale associate shook her head and umm no I can't do that, but needed to ask permission if she could.. she asked the head manager who was standing right there checking customers out, she said they don't do that and all customers get is one bag. She also added the store was low on bags ( like I'm sorry how is that my fault) I said there is a box full of bags on the counter behind you. I came in looking for some new foundation that would work with my skin I walked in no one greeted me or asked if I needed help I had to go looking for someone to help me there were 3 ladies near the register and they looked at me like I was trash, first of all how dare they, they have no idea who I am, I then proceeded to ask for some help, I did tell them what I have tried and what has happened after trying the products then one of them said I'm not dealing with this and walked away another rolled her eyes and walked behind the register the last one made me feel like I was taking up her time from talking to her co-workers I shop at Sephora a lot online and In the store I will definitely never come back to this location!!!!!!! My daughter and I walked in last night at 7:02 and staff made us both feel stupid for walking in when they closed. We misread the hours from different location. Simple mistake. Being nice goes a long way. We were okay with not getting our stuff just not to the response. Staff member had lime green hair and we prob won't be back to this location. This is meant for positive criticism. Reviews to this store doesn't seem good. I am sure the manger would like to know. I would. Good customer service is starting to be rare these days. Wow. This is the most friendly and helpful Sephora ever. They were super rude in Cali where I'm From but not here. I was looking for a product and they were so kind. Then I got led to El and she was so amazing, kind and creative. She had all kind of ideas that were so creative and led me to my now favorite lipstick. She is the sweetest ever and I am so grateful. This is a newer location for Sephora and its so convenient!! Every time I've stopped in, the employees have been helpful (sometimes overly but hey-at least they are there when I do have questions!). I walked in to a relatively empty store (about 5 customers including myself) and was not greeted by even one of the four associates standing right at the front door chatting casually. I left after 10 minutes of standing at the Fenty Beauty section and still no employee having asked if I needed help or anything. Kind of a mixed review due to this being 2 separate trips. First time I visited was super smooth and the workers were friendly and even called another store when they didn't have the item I wanted. Second trip when I wanted to shop the vib sale was awful. I was checking out the backside of a palette to see if the name matched up to the price tag because the display was a little messed up and confusing, then one of the staff came up to me and told me I couldn't swatch anything in a nasty tone like she was scolding a child. Even before covid I'm not the type to swatch makeup other people have used or touched and told her I didn't want to swatch anything and asked if it was ok for me to just look at the back of it. She paused, looked me up and down then did a long drawn out "uhhhh.... no" and walked away. Didn't even offer to show me her self (which is what I believe they are supposed to do if you want to see something). After being brushed off like that I put everything I was going to purchase back- her energy totally turned me off from wanting to spend any money at that store. I wish I caught her name but she was a younger short blonde woman. Kind of sucks that I'm going to have to visit the mall sephoras from now on when this one is only 5 minutes away from me. read more
