I have only ever gone on bus trips as a passenger with other groups. I didn't have a clue what to do so I just searched online and started calling places. I figured in my head, hey I get the cheapest price and the guys will be happy. The first couple companies I called were nice enough, and gave me prices, but certainly did not go out of their way to make me feel that comfortable or make this any easier on an old guy like me. Honestly, Werner Coach was the last place I called. I'm so glad I made that one last call to Werner! The woman who answered the phone transferred me to the sales manager, Lynsey. What a blessing! I apologized that I didn't really know what I was doing, but I needed a rate for a bunch of us guys to go to DC. She was so nice and knew exactly what questions to ask about what we wanted to do. Things the other companies didn't ask about rest stops, itinerary, she suggested places we could stop to eat and was just a joy. She was so accommodating even until the day before the trip when she called to confirm all the details. When our bus arrived earlier than expected I breathed a sigh of relief. The bus was clean, the AC worked, and it was comfortable. The driver pulled up, got out and introduced himself and shook my hand. His name was Jason. He went over the itinerary with me to make sure there were no last minute changes. Everyone loaded and we were on our way. Jason's driving was excellent. He was very cautious and safe. Even in Washington, DC. There was so much traffic and some of the streets are narrow and he handled it like a pro. Throughout the day he was on time and ready even when we were running late a few times. He pointed out sights to us as we drove by which was appreciated. We got home a little late due to traffic, but it was an awesome trip thanks to Werner. From the first call, to the time Jason dropped us off, they were first class. I am definitely recommending them to everyone I know!

But at least once or twice a month, maybe if there's been train delays or especially bad weather, you might find yourself having to stand. Sometimes there is a staff member near the ticket gates yelling out when the next train is coming, which is helpful. Sometimes it smells a bit pissy near the entrances. The downside is that if it rains, the 12th St. south entrance floods and unless you are wearing waterproof shoes, it's really not accessible. For up to 2 days! The staff really should do something about that. Otherwise you have to cross the street to access PATCO.

I was taking PATCO alone for the second time ever and meeting a friend nearby. I was so nervous that I somehow bypassed the 13th Street exit and kept walking. Hardly anyone was around but eventually I emerged at 15th Street...and had to run back a few blocks to meet my friend. It never occurred to me to turn back around. Times have changed and over the years I've used PATCO quite a bit. No matter, I still often double-check my steps when I leave this specific platform, which is probably silly and paranoid at this point. This is the second to last stop westbound, and it's conveniently situated in Washington Square West. You can also link up to the BSL here. I recommend having a Freedom Card if you frequent the city at all. I tend to see long lines purchasing tickets at the kiosks...but especially at this station.

Same as it ever was…read more That's the kind of the feeling that I get every time I catch a train at this station as I've been doing it since 198???, a very long time. Sure over the years things have been fixed up, upgraded and improved but at the core it's still the same old, now, 113 year old building. The future looks bright for Lansdale with a new parking structure coming that will increase the amount of available spaces by over 300 to around 900 and Septa is going to replace the area's traction power system which they inherited from the Pennsylvania Railroad that dates back to the '30's. What this type of investment means is that both SEPTA service and the station are going to be around for many years to come which is something that I look forward to as anytime I need to go to Center City this is my preferred way of doing it.

Set up an account, filled in all of the info, and ATTEMPTED to pay online with a credit card. A window popped up which I had never seen before. I was supposed to try to pay with a FAKE credit card number, which was provided. I ignored that, and filled in my own credit card info. For some strange reason, the card was declined. I was instructed to call for assistance. Which I did. After about a ten-minute discussion, she said she would text me a confirmation code, and then I could pay. She called me back within two minutes. It seems the price quoted online was a MISTAKE. The correct price should have been around $157. But they would give me a discounted price of $145!!!. When I protested that this all sounded a bit shady, she protested and said she'd send me a screen shot of the correct price. Well I could have sent HER a screenshot AND a copy of my confirmation email with the price of $85, but I did not. Told her it was absolutely ridiculous, I'll get an Uber, and never go on their website again. You know the adage...if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

My guests were left confused since their bus broke down and they had to call another one. This led to my guests arriving late to our wedding. After months of going back and forth with their CFO, they were not accommodating with a refund. We traveled from PHL airport to Warminster upon arrival, rode to 30th Street station (from Warminster) to visit the Mutter Museum, took Septa to Fern Rock then the Broadway subway to the stadium for an Eagles Game (GO BIRDS!) and finally Warminster back to PHL to fly home. Each ride was SPECTACULAR! Friendly and knowledgeable conductors, clean cars, and a smooth (cost effective) ride. It was extremely easy, safe and an enjoyable experience all around!
