I asked for an estimate for the job and was given a quote in the amount of $370; a cost I was OK with. I agreed to that cost and requested notification of ETA. I received a text message indicating the service person was on their way. The service person took a look at the faucet and almost doubled the price of the job.('$651.20). I was mortified. I questioned the cost increase and was provided a terse explanation. Realistically, no amount of explaining could justify the unreasonable inflation of cost. The guy was in and out of my house within 20 minutes. I won't ever use 5 Star Plumbing again. I will not recommend 5 Star Plumbing to anyone. The reason for the 2 stars - same-day service, notification of ETA, and he cleaned up after completion of the job. That's it. The absence of the other 3 stars - ridiculous inflated cost. The review process asks the question... What could improve? The best answer I have for that question...I should improve. I need to pay closer attention to the content of the negative reviews.
