After talking to Trenchless; I received an email confirmation for an appointment on the same day (Saturday) which was within a few hours. I later received another email of a name (Joseph Johnson) and picture of the technician to arrive. I did receive a call asking if the tech could arrive earlier since he most likely finished his previous appointment and I accepted. Joseph arrived and we discussed the problem. I previously tried to resolve the sewer clog but was unsuccessful. I already had pulled the toilet so it was easy for him to start his rooter/snake machine and he was able to unclog the sewer line easily within an hour or less. Joseph was very nice and professional and cares about his customers and the service he provides. We chatted briefly and thanked him for the great work. I did ask him if they could camera the line so I can find the cleanout right in the front of the house (not near sidewalk) and he scheduled someone to come over on Monday. I gave one star because they responded quickly and were able to schedule us promptly for an inspection at no charge. I gave another star because Gabe was friendly, professional, and did a thorough inspection using cameras to show us exactly what was happening in our pipes. Unfortunately, the experience changed when additional personnel became involved. The conversation quickly felt more like a high-pressure sales presentation than a service call. We were quoted nearly $50,000 for a complete home replumb, which was a major shock. What was most frustrating was that no temporary solution was offered to get our plumbing functioning again to allow us time to look at our finances and plan for such a high dollar long-term repair option. After sharing the quote with friends, we were referred to another local plumber. He came out the very next day, cleared the roots, fixed the shower, identified the exact location of the damaged pipes, and scheduled the necessary repairs for the following weeks. I found this business on Yelp because of their excellent reviews and they came out the same day to fix the leak. Alfonso, the technician who came to fix the leak said my plumbing pipes had been recalled several years ago because the lines failed and were substandard and not worth fixing. He did a temporary fix on the leak but couldn't guarantee it wouldn't fail. He said my plumbing needed to be completely replaced and called his boss to get pricing. They gave me their best discount and I accepted the price. It was a shock to me to find I had to replace everything but there was no other option and I made an appointment for Monday. I want to commend Alfonso and his partner Benny for their kindness towards me. Alfonso even helped my park maintenance man install a new meter because mine was cracked and leaking gas! Alfonso went above and beyond for helping me with my emergency situations! I also want to commend the workers who are installing my new plumbing and water heater, JT and Eddy. They are excellent and efficient and sensitive to a senior citizen's needs and are very kind as well. I highly recommend this business and their wonderful staff!

There was a smell emanating from our guest bath. Googling the cause of the smell put me in panic…read moremode. I called Draintech to inquire about a possible sewer leak. Kaelin answered the phone. (on a Sunday) I was expecting to get the answering machine. I described the problem and he calmly walked me through the possible causes. He gave me step-by-step instructions on what might be causing the smell. I wasn't confident that I could fix it myself, so I booked the scheduled visit that following Wednesday anyway. But after hanging up, I tried his instructions. And sure enough it fixed the problem. Long story short, if you have a spare bath that is unused. Not running the flush or shower can cause a ?vacuum? where the sewer smell could escape... (something like that, but don't quote me). I haven't written a review here in years, but wanted to let everyone know that Kaelin (Draintech) is a good and honest business. He could have kept our appointment and I would have happily paid for his visit. But instead gave me the instructions to fix it myself. That's amazing. He didn't get a payment from me this time around, but he earned a faithful customer for any future plumbing issues I might encounter.
