I consider myself an avid DIY-er, but I found myself facing what I assumed was out of my 'expertise'.. cast-iron plumbing that maybe would have to be cut out and replaced. I did some research looking around, decided to pick this company. Ricky & Kenny arrived (same day, luckily with a cancellation giving me a spot!) I was greeted with good etiquette, they covered their shoes and took a look at my problem. They saw I began to attempt the repair but was not confident in my ability; They tried to encourage me to attempt it. I really appreciated the good faith and honesty that this veteran-owned company displayed and decided to have them perform repairs. The job was finished in about 40 minutes. DIYing is great because you get to save a bunch of money, but the price to have professionals complete the job was actually less than I anticipated. This is possibly because they are a family-owned, local business which is always a plus. If you are currently looking for plumbing services, I suggest giving them a call and see what you think, the consultation was worth it, but having them complete the job was definitely a worthy decision. read more

I had a main line water leak, just past the water meter. Water was swamping the grass and filling the meter box. Excavating a three-foot long, twenty inch deep trench, took three hours...numerous rocks, boulders, plus electrical, telephone, internet/tv cables were in the same area. Searching internet for plumbers, I found Veterans Plumbing with a high recommendation. They promptly responded and carefully dug down to the water leak without disturbing the other utility lines; they repaired the leak; they backfilled with sand; they put the sod back in place. Not only did Ricky (owner) and crew do a good five-hour job, but the charge, as quoted, was great: 15% discount for law enforcement; 5% discount for my time and labor. He came our and did an estimate and cleared out the issue and replaced the shower within a week, easy! Also, we got a discount because my husband is a former Marine. Warranty company sent them. They came in with no tools. Ran water in kitchen sink, then filled sinks, then drained them. Said works fine. 30 minutes later when wife came home from work, floor is soaked. Drain is slow see? That's why it needs attention. I get it, it's just a service call. My kitchen lines were blocked and drained extremely slow. This also affected the clothes washer drain line which was backing up. In the process of clearing the lines, they hydro jetted the lines. While here they were very accommodating and replaced the filler valve on the bathroom toilet and replaced a 20+ year garbage disposal which contributed to the slow draining sink. One of our rentals with a concrete foundation had a kitchen sink drainage problem. It was covered under our home warranty policy but the vendor that they use was not available for another two weeks to take care of the problem. Great father and son team, came when they said they would and did what they said was wrong under kitchen. They showed us pictures of the leak under the house and the mess it had made. When they were done they showed us the pipe they cut out, the repair they did and the clean up. The homes in our area are old and not much craw space under the house, I would not want to craw under there so glad they could fix it. Father and Son came out to fix a difficult kitchen faucet issue, within a couple of hours of making a phone call to them. Rick (owner) took the time to explain some issues with the old water lines and the dangers/safety concerns. Other than the faucet replacement, I decided to have the water lines replaced.
