Hubby & I stopped here on our way to Yosemite to take a break from driving and cool down. Glad we did! We only got a flight but would definitely be willing to stop by again. Super cool vibe, good prices, nice staff, and plenty of beers (mostly theirs and Tioga-Sequoia) on tap. Love how they decorated the place! Downsides: Dogs aren't allowed on the patio. Bummer for us bc ours had to stay in the Jeep (hence the quick tasters). I felt the need to share this because I felt completely disrespected by an employee named "Peter" at this establishment. The day of the Tower District Pooch Parade 2019, I walked in with a friend, my son, and my SERVICE DOG and I asked for a table indoors so that I could see highlights of the game (and eat) that had aired just before I walked in. I made it a point to wait until the majority of people had left. I was told that only the patio is available to us and I looked around to see that there were plenty of tables without patrons. I specifically asked for an indoor seat once again and Peter, shook his head and said, "No, let's go sit you guys outside" I asked why I could not have an indoor seat and he exclaimed that it was because of the "dog hair" and that the owner requests no animals at all. I told him that my "animal" was by law exempt and that what he was saying was in fact discrimination. He walked away from me while I was talking to seat us outside and I followed to ask if he was a manager at which point a manager was walking out of the kitchen area we were passing and she said "no, he's not, I am". I followed her up back to the front and explained to her that he was being completely disrespectful by ignoring my request and ignoring me and that fact that I had a service animal. She said the owner requires proof of this. I told her I had proof in my wallet and I asked if the owner knew that asking to provide proof of a service animal is against the law as form of discrimination to my disability. She said he didn't know that herself and wasn't sure if the owner knew. I decided then an there, I wasn't going to bother because I was just not going to spend my money there. I'm sure the owner knows her laws and refuses to abide by them until it gets her in trouble, otherwise, how does she run her business? Nonetheless, I am handling it by contacting the proper government agency so that they can teach her a thing or two about how train Peter and any other employee, herself included, in hopes that they do not do this to anyone else. read more

The best way to go is appetizers and drinks. best two appetizers, according to all the people i have gone with are the Pretzels "they are like delicious deep fried donuts with salt" and the fried green beans There are tons of beer options of course. Live band nights, are a great opportunity to enjoy music and the company of your friends. Parking: Parking can be a problem since it is in the tower district. It has a large parking lot that is shared with Me and eds, and a few other establishments. Depending on the time you may have to search for a long while. People will often use that parking lot to go anywhere in tower. Friday nights are PACKED so be prepared. Lighting, it is easy to see but has a darker atmosphere. We tried to go tonight. There was a wait and the hostess shared it would be around 35 minutes. They don't take numbers and we were told we had to wait outside in 108 degree heat. Not being from the area, we opted to drive around downtown to see what was to be seen. We came back in 25 minutes and was told they called our name and we weren't there so they gave our table away and took us off the list. Sensing our frustration, the host said they would put us next on the list. After three names were called I checked in again with the host and was told they didn't know when we might get a table. With today's technology for texting when tables are ready, to expect patrons to stand outside in sweltering heat for extended periods of time with flies buzzing around is just ridiculous. Ordered the grizzly giant burger. Best tasting meat patty ive had in so long!!!! Full of flavor and was so good that I could've eaten it without adding mayo and or mustard. We were passing through town headed toward Yosemite and we did the typical Yelp search for dinner. The first thing that caught my eye was the pictures of the The Yetee burger! So we stop by this place and everything was amazing! They served their very own craft beer that were amazing with fun sequoia/Yosemite names. We got the General Sherman, Sequoia, and the Half done! For dinner we tried the Yetee burger and some fish and chips! Both were delicious :) We left there so stuffed and happy! The service was good. Our waiter was very nice and attentive! Just wondering how when I called ahead and was told it was ok to bring a cake the owner was so abrasive. Later we went to the bar area and evidently it's okay to place a coaster over your beer and save your seat for over an hour.I think they really need to think about their priorities. My Husband and I went here for dinner before a concert at Tower theatre. I "was" super excited for their garlic fries, because they "were" always phenomenal. The tri tip sandwich was good. The garlic fries I ordered from my waiter who had an irritating look on his face, were not garlic at all. Even though the female hostess said it was warm, the patio was actually freezing. I do not believe the waiter could handle his tables as he helped others who were there way after us, and watched us just sit and wait. Sadly we won't be back to either location. read more

I liked this place for the craft beer and their beer only. Their food is bland, and their customer service is horrible. Example, never in my life have I been told I couldn't bring a bottle of water which was factory SEALED into the restaurant with me. On top of that, the guy at the door said another member of my party couldn't bring a hydro flask into the restaurant even though it was EMPTY because it didn't say "sequoia brewing company" on it. First time trying out this restaurant here in the Tower District, when I walked in it kind of smelled a little funny so I decided to get some fresh air and sit outside. My friend and I ordered an appetizer and we got two chicken tacos. Nothing too special to be honest. I was pleased and surprised to see they had a salmon BLT which I've never heard of before! The beers are good, but tonight I walked in with my girlfriend and they turned us away at the door . My girlfriend asked the female at the door where the restroom was located as I was headed to the bar . The female (older Caucasian women ) told her she couldn't use the restroom and it was only for customers. She informed her that I was going to the bar and she was going to the restroom. The female worker then told us we needed to first buy a beer then she could use the restroom. I understand that they they're trying to control unwanted people from using their restrooms but to be so rude as to tell us "you have to buy a beer first then you can use the restroom" that's a bit petty. Came here for lunch with coworkers. Our service was friendly and quick. They have a well rounded menu with with burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and appetizers. I can't speak for the beer, but based on the food I'd come back. My shrimp tacos were huge and the shrimp was hearty and filling. Taco soup was not my favorite, consistency was thicker and almost paste like. We've been here many times and have always loved it. This time it was different, we looked at the menu and our waitress stood over us without introducing herself or saying hello and she awkwardly stated "do you need some more time?".We ordered 2 drinks, steak bites, mozzarella sticks and the "May Special" jalapeño poppers. Steak bites are always consistent in taste, meat was chewy, jalapeño poppers tasted like they sat in hot oil for an hour and no one paid attention. We ate our steak bites and put the fried food to the side. We asked our waitress for the check and we let her know our concern with the food, all she said was "yuck" and went on to give us our check and continued on. I've been going to this place for awhile now and yesterday I had the most horrible experience that made me decide that, that was the last time I'll be going to that place. The customer service was so horrible I walked inside to pick up my food and was waiting for about 25 min just for them to help me while my food was just sitting on the counter getting cold. mind you I was the only one in the building at the time, there was two workers there that I didn't get to catch there names, a skinny bald guy and a taller guy just talking and going out the the patio helping other people they proceeded to ignore me without telling me they'll be right with me or anything. Then a guy walks in right behind me and they decide to help him and not me. The manager (lady in her mid-to-late 30s, early 40s) is an outspoken complainer. When we left, she said to herself and loud enough for me to hear: "Wait, aren't you guys going to clean up? I'm not a great fan of this place. Other than last week, anytime I've been there at night it's hella crazy loud with people, TVs and the bands they sometimes have. I don't drink beer, so this limits me to the food. The food is okay, sort of regular bar/brewery food. I wasn't crazy about the quesadilla I ordered. I have bumped this up to 4 stars because like most places in Fresno, the service makes up for it. The server couldn't have been nicer, came by often, made sure we were okay. I don't know what happened to my original review, but here's a new one. I used to frequent this place regularly before they decided to stop making and selling their Blossom Trail Ale. The last time I was there the waitress gave me a sample of a beer she said was "almost the same thing." Well, Blossom Trail Ale never tasted like a mixture of Bud Light and iced tea, so I opted for a pint of their stout. I've never been served flat, warm stout before. I returned the first pint, and the replacement also was flat and warm. When I told the waitress, she had a talk with the bartender and returned to tell me that this stout wasn't supposed to have a head on it. I have reviewed the location on Champlain & Perrin, but I went to this location over the weekend. I have made my opinion known about what I feel to be sub-par beer and food, but now we can add to the list of things I hate about this place, terrible service. I walked in with a few people, and there seemed to be no there who was working, despite being pretty busy. We went over to a table being bussed and were going to take a seat, the busser without even looking up just said "DON'T SIT GO UP FRONT FIRST!" I was a little surprised by how rude he was, but we went up front to the host station and waited for someone to come and help us. Eventually a lady came and looked like she would rather do anything in the world that didn't involve getting us a table. She then asked if we were eating or just drinking. We wern't sure so we said we were just going to have a few drinks, and maybe get some appetizers. She then proceeded to tell us, in tones that exceeded the rudeness of the busser, that if we wern't going to eat a meal we couldn't have a table, and that we could get a drink from the bar. The same bar that was packed to the gills, and looked like it had a 15 minute wait at the minimum just to get a drink. I am not even mad so much that they couldn't give us a table, the employees don't have any control over the policy of the restaurant. What irritated me was the exceptionally rude tone that every employee seemed to take with us. Yes it was busy, but being confrontational with people who are essentially there to GIVE THE RESTAURANT THEIR MONEY, doesn't seem like the best way to earn repeat business.
