What likely happened was they saved the overcooked meat till the end of the day (we went 20 minutes before closing) and we were the schmucks that got it. What really pissed me off though is that the manager had veins popping out of his neck. The way he was talking to my elderly mother was inappropriate. Thankfully he cooled down when I walked up to the conversation. All she wanted was to replace our 4 tritip sandwiches with another. As someone who follows mostly a plant-based diet, I was overjoyed to discover such tasty options. The Date Night Brussels Sprouts were absolutely amazing; roasted to perfection with a crispy exterior and tender interior, coated in a sweet-savory glaze that had just the right balance of flavor and texture. They were so delicious that I couldn't get them out of my mind! The plant-based dumplings were just as scrumptious, and we even savored the leftovers for breakfast at the hotel the next day. The restaurant boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, the service was top-notch, and the location is incredibly convenient, only a short drive from the airport to our hotel. We will certainly make Colton's Social House a regular stop whenever we fly into FAT. Since the Bloody Mary was voted Best in Fresno, I had to give it a try. It wasn't bad, but it was pretty average and didn't stand out from countless others I've had.
