The Press Box is a perfect corner bar for those last minute hang out sessions and catching some sports on TV. Before I came here, I was told that the chicken fingers are, "a must order" so I got them along with two orders of bone-in wings. One tossed in BBQ sauce and the other tossed in a sweet thai chili sauce. The bone-in wings come six to an order and is a mix of flats and drum sticks. These were tasty, had a good amount of meat on the bone and sauced nicely. The chicken fingers here are trying to do too much; stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon, coated in breadcrumbs, and then deep fried. Sounds great in theory, but the chicken gets lost in all of the extra strong flavors and all you really taste is cheese and a tiny bit of bacon. Also, be careful biting into them while still hot. The grease can shoot out of the back of the finger and spray your hand. This happened to me, but luckily the grease wasn't too hot and didn't burn my hand. The staff here is awesome and the drinks were delish. Minus my chicken finger issue, I liked this small "kind of" sports dive bar. I'll be back! read more

Worst espresso martini I've ever had, went here for my friend's birthday bc she wanted to watch the game, they stuck us in the back corner where it was impossible to watch even though the place was empty, gave our large group the most awkward L shaped table configuration. Bruschetta was okay but the fries tasted frozen & my total was close to $40 for one drink & lame apps. My husband and I have tried this place twice. Both times the service was horrible. No fault of the server but the management understaffs! One person to work the bar AND take orders. When we went for lunch the food was decent so we decided to give it another try for dinner. Same horrible service duty to one server and this time the food was not good. The salad had been under the warmer and was wilted, warm, and drenched in dressing. When we told the server we couldn't eat it because it was not good, he apologized it still charged us for it. Service is terrible. They won't be busy and never check on you. Empty plates will be at your table and they won't clear them. I have a family member that does not eat pork and we got the spicy quesadilla. Bacon was not listed as an ingredient on the menu and we received a quesadilla with bacon. When we told the server she didn't believe us and grabbed the menu at our table and then said they mislabeled it. I have tried to get a drink three times once before 9pm, twice after 9 pm way before 10pm which is closing time according to your hours posted. I've been here twice so far. Great spot to hangout out and watch sports with a large number of TVs all over. The Avo Smash burger was flavorful, grilled with a nice crispy on the outer edge. i can't stand this place. to crowded to loud the service sucks and i guess they tell sum people no reservations while others get tables reserved. my wife & i sat at a table with no names or anything on it. while we were trying to settle cause we got kicked off a different table already, sum big foot looking f00l comes up and says this table is reserved. i told him there's no name on it and wen we called was told that no reservations were available. he demanded for us to move i told him no. he rudely said that this table is for people to watch the band. i told him what do u think were doing. were here for the band. he said u need to leave. i told him is this is how he treats his customers and he said, yup. sure do. we left and hating this place even more. pure garbage won't b going there ever again read more

Neighborhood friendly: It's located at the end of a strip mall, it's not dank, unkempt, or seedy clientele. Its Clovis, I know I know! It's clean and has a welcoming vibe. The staff was attentive & happily experienced in customer service. I am a Gen X'er, so hearing original rock n roll music from the 60's & 70's was a pleasant surprise. Not that modern pop music and college kids aren't appreciated, just be prepared for a 25yr + crowd. There are booths along one wall, the bar is just as long on the other side. There are also tables & chairs, many tv screens, a mechanical dart board, so many brews on tap and a HUGE list of hard liquor & mixed drinks. Food: Very rare to find both good food AND drink in a bar/grill. Many other bar/grills claim to be, but alas they fall short. The menu is simple and nothing foo foo or complicated. I have never enjoyed any meal from a bar/grill over a restaurant before. A typical club sandwich on white bread & sweet potato fries have never tasted so good. At first I was disappointed my only bread options were just white & wheat, my bad. But not just white bread but TOASTED white bread. Toasting bread sounds so simple but it really makes the sandwich. Seriously good luck in finding better sweet potato fries anywhere else. Their MOAB (mother of all burgers) burger is so thick, I felt like I had to unhinge my jaw just to take first bite. And the tater tots. Ohhh we were fighting over the tater tots. I intended to finish my lunch with a cocktail. But I made a pig of myself with tots and 'tato fries. We love coming here every Friday night. It's our go to spot. The food is always great and the atmosphere. My son loves the pepperoni pizza & chicken quesadilla, my daughter loves the bbq chicken salad and the jukebox, mine are the avocado smash burger with extra creamy velveeta cheese and the pork chop with the raviolis in a white cream sauce. You have to get the hot chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. You will dream about it!!! Haley is the absolute best server! You never have to ask for a refill or supplies. First time here on a Saturday afternoon and it was a great experience! The atmosphere is lively and fun with really good music, plenty of TV's with various games on and friendly service from the staff. It had a great vibe of people who looked to be having enjoyable conversations and smiling and having a good time, really a positive vibe. We had the Italian meatballs for an appetizer and they were fantastic, very flavorful. I had the bacon cheeseburger and my husband had the Philly steak sandwich. Both were delicious!!! Amazing place! We were visiting from San Diego and wanted to watch a little Sunday football. Not really sure why there are mediocre reviews, this place does it right. They play the actual TV football audio and have a lot of seating options. Our waitress Hayley was on point, she was the only server on the floor in a very busy place but she was on top of it. She provided better service than the vast majority of establishments with multiple team members. Very impressed with her, she's an asset to this place. Pizza was fantastic, steak bites were incredible. Ranch is delicious! Drinks strong! Come here! Now for the details: My coworker and I came in on a Monday after two strikeouts of places that for whatever reason are closed on Monday.... When we walked in, it was fairly dead (I attribute that to COVID). But, greeted and seated promptly. There was a temperature scanning device at the door ! Megan was our bartender/server and I looooooved her!!! She was so personable and attentive in all the right ways (I'm so critical of service)!
