    Chicken Taco Side of Fries
    Kaleigh M.

Consistently so good. Definitely gets crowded but kind of worth it every one and a while, I prefer getting a full service table to avoid the crowd. Love their chicken taco and fries, that's my go to. Forever a Fresno staple :)

The tri tip sandwiches are the best on the Valley, the service is order from the register & pick up when you here your # called, & it's an amazing sports atmosphere in the Dog House Grill!

Look I ain't even gonna waste y'all's time. There is a reason they are ALWAYS BUSY! It's always gonna be hard to find a parking spot from M-F open to close. They don't miss. Not one time...Neva...Neva Neva? Neva Neva!

Been going here for many years and finally getting to that long awaited review. If you're looking for a good tri-tip sandwich, look no further! Dog House Grill has the BEST tri-tip sandwiches ever! Trust me, I have tried others and nothing compares. Upon arrival, parking is always full. If you have some time to wait, it will start to clear slowly. Entrance always has a long line to order food. Another way to order is inside where you find a table by the bar area and be served by a waiter/waitress. The ambiance is sports related so you'll see big screen TVs everywhere with all kind of sports playing and sports decor on the walls. Seating can be a bit of a wait since it's always busy so you kinda have to stand around and wait for tables to clear out or you might even get lucky and find one right away. Ordering is easy, big screens for menus upon entering and cashiers waiting to take your order. Once you order your food, it's a bit of a wait until they call your number. Our order today was 2 tri tip sandwiches and a side of fries. Totaling out $40. - Tri-tip sandwiches are $17 each. Worth it every single time. 1000/10 - Side of fries is actually a pretty large order. Seasoned a bit and for the size and taste 8/10 All in all, a great place to eat. I crave this often and it's located near the Savemart Center/Fresno State area which you can't miss. You can even smell it from a close distance. But in all seriousness, go try it. You won't regret it.

we love the tri-tip sandwiches from dog house. It's a very popular because it's amazing portion sizes good pricing and friendly employees. They have TVs all around and it gets a little loud but you you enjoy the ambience. They have a great soda selection, especially if you like cherry Pepsi or other flavors.

I'm surprised I've never reviewed dog house, but I guess it's time. Been coming here since they've opened, they never disappoint. Everything is always fresh, fast, and delicious. The service is good, the staff is nice, quick and ready to serve you. Wet lime sitting at the bar area so we can get service and drinks from the bar. They do have another side where you can get your own food order and drinks. Dog house is huge inside, with plenty of seating when it's not the weekend or an event. They also have outside tables as well. They have happy hour from 3-6pm bar area only.

The best, I mean the best Tri Tip sandwich I have ever had. Want to go back and try other things but don't know if I will be able to order something other than the Tri Tip sandwich. Oh and their waiters are attentive, they have a full bar and lots of tvs with various games on. Don't miss this place if you're here in Fresno.

The most popular sports grill of Fresno! Busy and buzzing especially on big game days for major sports, Fresno state games or concerts at save mart center as it's right across the street! Parking can get full. You can either have table service or self service where you order at the counter and find your own table. Can never go wrong with a basket of fries, they're seasoned and go amazing with ranch! I got the southwest salad and it was a great amount of food and healthy! It had avocado, black beans, corn, chicken, and onions. The sauce was good too. Drink cups are pretty good size too, you can fill those up at the fountain. Very loud environment since it's a big space and a sports grill, a lot going on!

Dog House is always busy, and for good reason. The lines can get long, but service moves quickly. Seating can be hard to find during peak hours, though tables are cleaned and turned over fast. The tri-tip is solid, and the tri-tip salad is also very good, a small size can easily feed two people. The onion rings ordered extra crispy are absolutely fantastic. Although I wasn't a big fan of the pulled pork, my husband really enjoys it. Portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. Overall, great food and efficient service, just be prepared for the crowds.

Everything was great! Counter service was quick and friendly, also patient with my indecisive ordering. Dining area for wait service (basically the bar section) was full, but we easily found a booth in the back. I actually prefer getting my drink refills and extra napkins myself. The bussers are very on top of things, and if I need any extra sauces or boxes, the staff is very helpful. Place was crowded on a Monday night, but not packed like it is on the weekends. Food is ready pretty fast and everything was served nice and hot. Calamari 10/10 Tri tip sando 8/10 Onion rings 10/10 French fries 7/10 Pork ribs 8/10 BBQ sauce 7/10 Sriracha mayo (aioli) 9/10 ABC Burger (was good, per my niece) Dog House Grill is a Fresno State and Fresno-must go to spot!

I had been avoiding this place because of the hype and horrible parking lot. We came tonight thinking it might be less busy on a Monday. Nope, not really haha But the tri tip sandwich is really good, making the parking hassle worth it. I had to take a star off for the cold hard fries sold separately for $4 or $5. The onion rings were great. It's not very often I eat tri tip better than my husband's, but this one is haha. I will definitely be back, parking lot be damned!

We came here with 4 people during lunch on Sunday and I heard this place is a very popular so I was worried it was gonna be busy. Surprisingly, we didn't wait that long in line. You first order what you want at the front cashier. I got the tri-tip steak sandwich ($17.00) and fries. After you order, you can get your drink and sit at any open table. We were able to find a table. I think we waited about 10-15 mins for the food to come out. The place was huge and had plenty of seating. Food was really good and it came with a lot of fries. I definitely think they made the bbq meat good for what it's worth in price. I would definitely come back to try the other bbq too.

Best chicken caesar salad hands down. My go to is always the poke nachos. Especially when it's happy hour (; Outside seating with heaters are actually not bad at all even in the cold. Waiters are always attentive.

Not because I didn't like the place, but because I hate Shaw traffic and I don't like being around people if I have a choice lol but when I'm feeling social and have the right people around me? Yes, please. Main thing we've gone for, obvi, are their Red Beers. I was never (still not) a beer drinker but the only thing that can make me drink beer?... these guys (Micheladas in general). They make a mean Miche! It may be frowned upon but I like mine with ice-- lots of it! Don't worry, with all the drinking you do, they also have fooooood-- and it's pretty darn good. The one thing I remember from years ago was their Chile Verde Quesadilla... it was bomb! Fast forward probably a decade+ later? Still bomb! On top of that-- my friend ordered their Nachos to share... yup, you guessed it! Bomb! My other friend ordered their Torta as well. I did not try it off her but I will take her word for it-- she said it was bomb. Duh. For a bar tucked away in the alley they're in (that's what it feels like to me)-- it's a decent size with significant space (parking can be tricky). Plenty of seating available and space to move around. It's exactly how you'd expect a bar to look and feel. The staff has always been quick to take our orders, super friendly, serving up quality, and they keep the place clean. I don't know what took me so long to come back but I'll try not to let my next visit go as long. This past visit happened to be a Karaoke night which was an added bonus. I can't sing like I wish I did in my head but hey-- I love to sing anyway (if I'm not shy). Enough liquid courage will do it. My friends and I took a few rounds on the mics together and it was a blast! If I remember correctly... Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays are when Karaoke nights are held. DJ was very entertaining + excellent taste in music. Very versatile ( A+). Yes, I recommend.

Yes it's soup but beyond that the experience in the presentation is completely different. It was a little quieter and more laid-back it felt a little bit more upper class. I feel like I would have to come here two or three times to fully find what my favorite things are. I tried the spicy miso broth. But if I come back, I'll get something different and I'll probably have to try a few before I end up finding my exact favorite. The experience here was more about timing and what you're cooking instead of making a soup with everything in it and then eating it. I would have to say that everything that I had was good. Not really big on tofu and their money bags tasted OK a little bit sweet in the end. The corn was really sweet to me. I like both of the mushroom types that they had their my wife only liked one of the two. My broth came out amazing. I added cilantro, green onion, and their hoisin sauce along with some lime. We also got Ramen noodle. It didn't seem like it was gonna be a lot of food. I felt like we were gonna be hungry by the time we got done eating everything. But it turned out in the end we were both full and not needing anymore. I would say this is a little bit more expensive than JPot. But I think this would be a nicer place to bring a date to overall experiences and presentation is better. I would say the service here was really good. We were well taken care of. I always say that you should make reservations if you're gonna come. We walked in when it didn't look like it was full or busy, but we still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. At least there's a little bit to walk around and do around here so you have other shops and places to see if you have to wait. Overall, I would give this a five star review. But my honest opinion is I would rather eat at JPot. But I might only be saying that because I have my favorites over there and I didn't leave here creating a favorite in my mind. I left here thinking next time I come back. I'm gonna try different stuff. Again everything is good
