I had a really good experience with Xoom. I purchased my sectional from a catalog on their website and had never seen it in person. Mo was able to answer all my questions and keep me updated through the process. The financing process was smooth and delivery was smooth as well. My boyfriend was interviewing from home at the time of delivery and they removed packaging and set up in the hall to keep the noise down. They were so considerate! I really like the sectional and it seems to be good quality. Also, one of the best parts was that I ordered and had my sectional delivered in less than a week! Comparable sectionals at other companies were quoting at least 5 weeks for delivery on the low end, some were saying several months, right now due to the pandemic I assume. Also Mo checked on me after delivery to make sure everything went okay. Happy customer read more

Stay Away! After seeing an amazing price on a furniture set on Craigslist we called to confirm the price because at $699 it sounded like a great deal having been quoted $1000 from a different store. We didn't want to waste our time, and that is exactly what they did. After arriving we were told the item was back ordered and the best price they could do was $1250. So you know the saying if it sounds to good to be true it probably is... Totally applies at Xoom furniture. It's the classic old bait and switch. Be warned the great prices will seem to entice you to drive like we did... But you'll remember my warning once you get there and are disappointed! read more

I really wanted to like this place. I reviewed the recent comments and they were all mostly 5 stars so we headed that way. When we arrived on 2/21, Angela was very friendly and had great customer service. We looked at several dining room tables and the one we wanted was unfortunately on back order so we continued to look through their catalogs. I found a beautiful dining room table and chairs set but was way out of our budget. Of course there were plenty of furniture stores in the area and we could have easily walked away to continue searching for a dining table. Angela was flat out honest with us and stated she did not want us to leave to buy somewhere else. She said she wanted to work out a deal and see if she could knock some of the price down with the owner. So a hundred dollars was knocked off... From 2100 to 2000..? Ok fine. Whatever I wanted the product because I liked it and paid cash for it along with a huge standing mirror. The total was a little over 2600. Including 150 for delivery. We were told our furniture would be delivered within at the next 2 business days. We were told as we were leaving that after we get our furniture that if we left a review we could come back and pick up our "gift". Maybe that's why the recent 5 stars? But after we paid our money it went downhill from there: 2/23- we received a call from Angela stating the furniture we paid for was on back order and won't be available until the first week of March. Really? But we were told the original table I wanted was on back order while we were in the store (which was much cheaper btw) why weren't we told about the one we paid for being on back order?? TIME IS MONEY First week of March went by... No furniture... No one called to update on status. We called after a week had past and Angela answered but was not able to provide a status update and asked to call back tomorrow to speak with a manager.. I found that weird. The next day we called and spoke with Yvonne, she said our table had arrived and that it could be delivered tomorrow between 4-7pm. Now the next day at about noon I get a call from the delivery driver with windy noise in background saying he was on his way and will be to my home within the hour. I told him I was not home and that I was told delivery time would be between 4-7pm. He said ok that was fine and will deliver between those times. At 255p he texts me to say he will be at my home at 330p to deliver. Before I could respond to text within 5 minutes he calls and say they are there at my home! .. I said again, I am not there yet! He then asks me if they could jst leave our furniture in my neighbors garage.. Ok now I'm heated.. I said NO YOU CAN NOT! And stated I would be there within 15min.. When I got home all of my furniture was sitting outside in my driveway! When they saw me pull up they started preparing to pick up the items to bring them in.. I didn't notice until after they left, mud was also tracked on my carpet from their shoes!! I called the furniture store the next day to report this horrible experience and was told no one was available and that I would get a call back that same day... No one called back. Till this day.. No one has follow up with the whole experience. After my cash was taken customer service ended.. I would not recommend this store to anyone! read more

I could just copy and paste the two earlier reviews as my own. OVER TWO AND ONE HALF MONTHS AND WE STILL DO NOT HAVE ALL OF OUR FURNITURE!!! There is absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at this place of business. They have no problem contacting a customer concerning money. However, they have never contacted me concerning my furniture and, its status. Moreover, anytime I called, any person I spoke to had no idea what was in stock, what I had already received or, when I could expect to receive it. FRUSTRATING BEYOND BELIEF!!! I'm writing this review prior to receiving all of my furniture. I wonder if there will be even more delays . XOOM FURNITURE HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING UNIQUE. They have cheap furniture at cheap prices. My bf and I were on the market for a new bed frame. After finding the perfect one at the Dump only to be told that they were sold out and that that frame had been discontinued, we were a bit let down, especially since it was such a great deal. That is, until we accidentally meandered into this place (we were attempting to go to a furniture store across the street from here, but made a wrong turn. Traffic made us give up on that other store and we were like, "What the hell, let's go into this blue building"). The staff was extremely helpful. The showroom is pretty small compared to the Dump and other furniture stores, but the sales lady offered us catalogs to browse through, which gave us nearly endless options. Turns out most furniture comes for the same manufacturer. We explained our situation about the bed frame we had seen at the Dump. She asked us a few questions about the color and style then was like, "Was it this one?" Then she pulls up the exact same set that we saw at the Dump on her phone. They ended up price matching the set for us (Frame, dresser, night stand for $699, retails at $1500 originally). They ordered it for us then had it delivered to our apartment and assembled for a reasonable price. The delivery guys were on time and efficient. They cleaned up after they were finished. We had a great experience with this flexible company and will gladly do business with them again. read more

I had a wonderful experience at this store. Mo and a lady ( sorry i don't have her name) were so helpful and attentive. I appreciate how I was acknowledged even though they were with other customers. I walked in with a budget and they were very knowledgeable and happy to assist. Mo took his time with me to make sure I had the perfect mattress to support my back issues. My bedroom and mattress set were delivered on-time and in perfect condition. I love my bed! I feel like I'm sleeping in a 5star hotel bed every night! This place gets an A+ for the following: -It had furniture I liked/wanted/needed -The price was definitely affordable -It was exactly what I expected and then some I have read all of the reviews about XOOM on this page, let me explain my experience. I did not purchase an entire bedroom set or wait for weeks for a headboard. I purchased 2 bar stools from XOOM, was helped by Angelica, who was very attentive and then met Mo, who was very personable. I expected to walk in, see cool stuff and leave with the 2 bar stools. I did exactly that. I don't know what to say about anyone else's experience, but if you're looking for a place to get some cool furniture, pick it up and go, I would strongly recommend coming to XOOM. Fantastic experience! I typically purchase furniture online since I can find unusual pieces and good deals, but something about the window display at XOOM told me to stop by before making my decision.... I'm so glad I did, because I immediately saw pieces that fit my taste from the eccentric red, white, and silver porter chairs, to luxuriously plush rugs across every floor, and even the outrageously tall accent chair. I saw a few beds that caught my eye, but then my friend told me there were more pieces in the back. Intrigued, I stepped in the room and was shocked how much bigger the place was than I'd expected. I walked down and saw several more items that would fit perfectly in my home, but weren't on the check-list for today. Then near the back I saw several dramatic beds that seemed perfect in pink, but were a little too ostentatious, even for me. I rounded the corner, and AHA! That same bed I'd liked in pink was available in a more demure pearlescent fabric, with a glorious high back that perfectly fit the seashell-look I sought, and pretty gems over every tuft. It was an absolute dream to see this piece on sale, and to hear it could be delivered and built at my home the next day! I bought it immediately, knowing my online list could never top this, and it now sits proudly in my bedroom as the perfect bed "fit for a queen." The staff at the store were very friendly, chatting and joking while we finalized the sale. When I called due to needing a heads up because I couldn't work at home after all the next day, they told me they always call an hour ahead anyway, so I'd have plenty of time to make it there. True to their word, they arrived at my place just before 3PM, and the deliverers quickly brought in all the pieces and assembled the bed in 15-20 minutes, with no complaints. I am just dazzled with the overall experience, and I will definitely be back soon to look at those plush rugs, and to start a new checklist for later upgrades.... ;) read more

DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM HERE EVER!!!!! I had the WORST experience at this location. I went in with the intention to purchase furniture but due to the unprofessional manner in which Kay handled the situation I declined to go through with the purchase. When I requested my money back which I was told I had to put down to lock the price in Kay tells me that she doesn't think they do refunds and that she would have to speak with her manager. She emails me at work on Saturday afternoon which of course I do not see until Monday morning to tell me the manager stated we can't give a refund but I can come and pick out a pillow with the money. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!! I contacted my bank and they contacted the store with me on the line to speak with Yvonne, manager (I think was her name) and she was rude, condescending, and ignorant when the representative from the bank was attempting to resolve the issue. The worst service I have experienced in MY LIFE!! I will be contacting the BBB regarding the way they conduct business. How do you take someone's money and not give any merchandise. I found the same furniture elsewhere $500 cheaper!!! Thank goodness I did not have to deal with them and still found what I wanted. read more

What a nightmare. The management is the problem. I had multiple deliveries and each delivery contained a broken piece. Management failed to do ANY follow up regarding the replacement pieces or additional deliveries and all the leg work was left up to me. I still have no resolution on my broken pieces and continue to follow up with management who apparently cannot return calls. Delivery - I was contacted just 10 minutes before one delivery (they are required to provide an hour's notice) only to rush home from work to wait over an hour for them to actually arrive!! The delivery man is polite but assembled my furniture in error and speaks zero English. I now have broken and improperly assembled furnuture with no future end in sight. Do not shop here! read more

This place has the worse service I have ever seen! Yes the furniture is much cheaper than other places, but because of the service (or lack there of) I will never go here again! I ordered a whole bedroom set from Xoom. They assured me that they had all the pieces in stock and that it would all be delivered the next day. When the delivery man came, there was a piece missing and he did not day anything about it. We had to call the store to ask about the missing head board. They explained that it was out of stock and they needed to order a new one and it would take two weeks. Four weeks after this, we called to ask about the piece and they informed us that they had not yet ordered it and that they would put the order in and we would receive it in one week. After another three weeks we had to call them again to ask about the headboard. They said they had it all ready for us..why wouldn't they call us to let us know then???! They said that it would be delivered in a couple hours, ten minutes later a man called to say he was there. We were not home yet because we weren't expecting the furniture that soon. We immediately left our lunch to get home, but the man called back five minutes later yelling at us and asking where we were! He was extremely rude and never apologized. To top everything off, he set it up wrong! I am pretty sure that if we didn't keep calling Xoom to ask about the headboard, we would never have gotten it and they would have kept our money. DO I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I had stopped in the store about a month ago and saw a mirror i fell in love with. I came back last weekend and luckily they still had it. I was working with Yvonne who is supposed to be the manager. We had a discussion about free delivery, i told HER that day my schedule is 10:30am to 7pm. She said no problem i can have delivered to you Tuesday by 10am (i only live 5 min away) & that she would give me a call on Monday to confirm. Monday comes no phone call. I start calling at 9 on Tuesday to confirm, i called about 5 times and the phone only rang ( online it says they are open from 9-7. I leave my home at 9:51am and get to the store at 9:57am and the door sign says they open at 10. I wait and Erica gets there and opens the store. I proceed to tell her the issue and she looks at me as if I'm bothering her and says "well what do you want us to do? We don't open till 10" At that point i lost it. She makes a few calls in front of me, calling some other person idk who she was talking to and calling Yvonne the manager. Whyyyyyyy would you tell a customer that you would deliver by 10 knowing that you don't open till 10??? They resolve the situation by offering to deliver at 7pm making a big deal about the process, i tell them repeatedly it will take me 20 minutes to get home from work. I get a call from the delivery drivers at 7:23 pm who say they won't be able to deliver until 8:30pm-9:30pm as they are far out, okay whatever smh. The delivery people were the only nice ones. They call at 9:08pm and say they are here. I let them in, the put the mirror against the wall and the mirror is DAMAGED on the side, i ask them about it & they tell me that's how it was given to them and i can call the company. This company is HORRIBLE, if i could give them zero stars i would and going through the trouble to deal with them anymore is not worth it, i hope they go out of business soon because this is no way to run a business. read more

I purchased a bed frame in early February 2017 that was originally priced at 700$, ended up paying $500. Price was fantastic and they said the bed frame would be available to pick up by the first week of March. It is now the end of April 2017 and I still have not received my bed. Xoom employees now say it will be available for pick up the first week of May. They also said they would deliver the bed frame to make up for the delay. Simply writing this review to warn people that the whole sellers that Xoom buys from apparently suck. I hope this review helps. read more
