A great time to grab a gyro and enjoy the pleasant outside atmosphere during the spring and summer. Not much interaction while ordering as I knew what I wanted. No issues with service. Ordered the Lamb Gyro ($10.99) which has lamb slices, lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles, feta, and tzatziki sauce on top. The gyro slices were cut fairly thin. Plus I recall only two small bites of pickle lacking any cruch. The pita bread held up well, but it ended a bit wet near the end. To me this was just an average gyro at best. Nothing stood out because the slices needed more flavor. I'll be back to try their shawarma or falafel, but probably not any time soon. The search for the best gyro in Hillsboro continues...

The menu isn't too expansive, but definitely has something for everyone. I LOVE their pho, it's currently #1 on my list. The broth is delicious, and the steak is very yummy. I will eventually try something else I'm sure but don't sleep on the pho! Service is always polite and swift. We've already been back twice since our first visit.

We arrived just before the dinner rush and were promptly seated. The menu is quite varied and includes some non-Vietnamese choices. Unfortunately, they did not serve my favorite, banh xeo. We ordered the lobster wontons, but quite honestly, I could not tell there was lobster in them because the cream cheese dominated. The broken rice pork chop plate was delicious, especially with the crispy fried egg on top of the rice. The combo bun was substantial with pork, chicken, char siu and shrimp and was quickly polished off by the man in our party. The $3 Asahi and Obsidian stout beers were a bonus. The dragon mural is compelling as you walk in to the restaurant. I did find some of the lighting rather garish, particularly around the front counter, but otherwise it was pleasant. Service was friendly and attentive. One of my companions really enjoyed the pho broth so I will have to go back to try that. Overall, a solid edition to the Hillsboro/Aloha neighborhood.

The menu is a bit challenging to navigate the first time through, but the staff is lovely and will help direct you. I'll say that the printed direction to order 4-7 dishes per person would be crazy. We did not need 35 dishes! Some of the dishes are very small, and some are enormous, so ask if you don't know to strike the perfect balance. Some are offered on a range of 1-5 spiciness, and it definitely leans on the spicy side, so you may want to stick with 1-3. The flavors here are fabulous! I was so impressed that with all vegan ingredients, each dish was fully differentiated and had its own unique flavor profile. The dining area reminded me so much of the street cafes throughout Asia. They nailed that fun, casual feel

So very glad we went here! Our first time trying Sri Lankan food and it was awesome…read more We got Polos cutlets 5/5 (served with green chilli chutney when requested to be made spicy) - had a nice stuffing of spiced potatoes and raw jackfruit. Somewhat like a samosa filling but still quite unique. Wasn't spicy but was very flavorful. Combination plate with Seeni Sambal (caramelised onion tamarind chutney), Polos (jackfruit curry), Deviled pineapple (daily special; the best of the lot!), Radish salad, Mustard Greens salad, and chickpea curry. Served with rice and papadum. The seeni sambal was the only mediocre thing on the platter. Loved the deviled pineapple where pineapple was stewed in a spicy sauce. The pineapple pieces had absorbed the sauce really well and were very juicy with a nice bite to them. The polos is also a must try - raw jackfruit really absorbs spices well and the fleshy and stringy / fibrous texture made it extra delicious. The mustard green and radish salad were also very moist and lightly seasoned, while the chickpea curry was only mildly spiced but balanced the rest of the dishes well. Mango ice tea (4/5) - we got it unsweetened so the mango flavor did not really come through all that well. Very friendly staff/owners. Parking can be a little had to find - we parked at a spot about a 5 min walk away. Gender neutral restroom located past the kitchen so they ask you to wear a mask while walking to the restroom. Outdoor and patio seating with very beautiful decor. Love the ambience and the whole vibe.
