I was skeptical on whether a food truck would make their food REALLY spicy as some Thai places go crazy with their spiciness while others not so much. They pop up at other miscellaneous places around town with the BFM being their most regular location. However, now that they have a food cart, I think we might start seeing them in other places and won't have to wait for our weekly hit of their loving goodness! Xiao Tong and Taylor run a tight operation. Amazing, creative dumplings made with homemade wrappers dyed with natural colors and flavors (spinach=green, carrots=orange, squid ink=black) and filled with locally sourced meats and vegetables! As a heavily leaning carnivore, I have to admit their vegetarian options are legit! Absolutely amazing! So much flavor! Then there is the creativity of the Black Pearl: Squid Ink dough, with pork and a big chunk of shrimp, and asparagus!
