The following week I phoned again and a lady answered...finally! She apologies and states she will email me the following day with the details of the class. Another week goes by....still NO email or phone call back regarding the class. I emailed and phoned again but still nothing. Please DO NOT waste your time with this company I was thoroughly disappointed with the unavailable and lack of customer service they provided. I'm still trying to get my deposit back

Her course is 6 weeks long, with a 3-hour class once per week. This allows plenty of home study/practice time in between. All the materials are included in the class. In addition to learning skills which will make childbirth easier, at the end of each class she does a relaxing hypnosis, so I always leave feeling refreshed. As an added bonus, she even provides healthy snacks! While I only went for HypnoBabies classes, Stephanie also works as a doula and offers placenta encapsulation services. If you're not already familiar with these two services and you are pregnant, do some research. I had a doula present for my second child and that made a huge difference in my birthing experience. I wish I would've known all the benefits of placenta encapsulation back then too.

Covid hit, and in Atlanta they didn't allow a 2nd support person (in some hospitals they were not even allowing the partner), and I was furlough from my job. We asked if she can keep half of the payment, and refund us half back since she won't join us in the hospital. She has not responded to my asks for that, literally tried numerous times, and feel very much scammed. Terrible experience- especially since we approached this from a place of wanting support, she turned out to be anything but that and added significant stress during my pregnancy.

What do we do about this?) etc etc. And then when the Covid-19 pandemic made EVERYTHING unknown, having Rebecca's NO BS style, guidance, empowering energy and knowledge made us much more comfortable and confident with every new twist and turn. The hospital only allowed one guest (my partner) so Rebecca video chatted with us during the entire labor. She coached us through every step of the way. I had some unforeseen complications and Rebecca worked with us and our medical staff to make sure we understood everything before moving forward with next steps. We ended up with a healthy mama and baby. And even though our birth story ended up very differently from our birthing plan, I wouldn't have changed a thing. I feel so satisfied with how well everyone worked together to nurture and support our little family. We found Rebecca to be worth her weight in gold and will highly recommend her to friends and family.

Having her gentle but assertive presence helped us both stay grounded and focused. She gave me the confidence to trust my body, and him the confidence to best support me. Melissa also captured some memorable and cherished moments from birth. Which I was so thankful for as I really had wanted to hire a photographer originally! Stefanie was our doula and she went with us from the Atlanta Birth Center to the Medical Center. We had a 50 hour labor from start to finish and she was there for the entire labor. We had a great labor experience with Stefanie and I am looking forward to recommending her to everyone I know in the Atlanta area. I think I would have tapped out at around 24 hour mark if it was not for her comfort and support during labor. I highly recommend this doula team. Our midwife team was also impressed with their talent and professionalism.

Ashley was my Doula for my induction at Emory Johns Creek. I had planned on an epidural so i was…read morenot quite sure what all she could really do for me or what a Doula could offer. She answered many questions I had and provided documentation up until delivery day. Let me tell you how happy I am she was there. She was a trooper. From 12pm to 6:30a.m the next morning. she was by my side supporting me and my husband the entire time. My epidural left me with a hotspot across my lower abdomen that was not reached by the epidural. The pain for me was intense. She stayed by me offering breathing guidance,rubbing my back and offered peppermint oil as I kept becoming very nauseas from the pain. I had a very hard time and could not have done it without her. Eventually a c section had to be done as I stalled in dialating enough and could no longer take the pain. Ashley was there again after the c section checking up on me and baby. I appreciate her so much and will be forever grateful to her.

I used Labor of Love for sibling doula services during my recent home birth. I wanted my toddler…read moretaken care of so my partner could focus 100% on me. Leah was amazing. My toddler went to her immediately and loved hanging out with her. While I was laboring she tidied up my kitchen so everything was clean for the next day for my husband. She supervised my little one while he came in to see me, and took him to another room when things got intense. He even let her put him down for a nap which I was super surprised by! My husband was able to focus on me the entire time without having to worry about the little. My labor was fast and intense so I was really thankful he was there for support. I would definitely recommend having a sibling doula from labor of love at your home birth, or if you need someone to be with your kids while you're at the hospital.

She reminded my husband and I that the choices were ours and we should feel no pressure to do anything we were uncomfortable with during the birth of our second child. However, she fell sick after the first week and despite giving her options to make up for those missed days she opted to shorten the contract to 4 weeks. She is a sibling doula but did not want to look after my toddler who is 3. She refunded a partial amount only for the shorter contract. She was a "no show" one day and I received a phone call from an aunt an hour later who said she was in a car accident. Her phone was disconnected, her cell phone went straight to voicemail and so did her aunts number so I had no way of communicating with her. She owes me money for services not fulfilled per our contract (she was supposed to help me till April 15 2022 according to the new contract).She emailed me saying "The services that I am provided you is based off a flat rate so that's why there would be no refund" but she didn't fulfill the contract/service requirements. Do not waste your time, money and energy with her as your doula. Postpartum mothers deserve much more than her. I have already filed a grievance with her certification agency. I also sent her a legal letter through my lawyer. I have saved all the emails/correspondences as proof if you ever need them to decide about this doula. I also have recordings from my home cameras about her advising me for my baby's health out of her scope of practice. Feel free to reach out to me.

I thought maybe that was as good as it gets until I can have a regular massage again, but Ursula changed my mind - her prenatal massage was like night and day compared to my first one. She had a wedge/body pillow so I could actually relax instead of trying to hold myself up. And even better, she actually worked my problem areas - I felt like I was getting a regular massage, not one where the masseuse was afraid to use any pressure.
