Then he told me it would cost an extra $10 for another 10 minutes. That's when I realized he wasn't informing me about the time; he was trying to sell me more service while I was half asleep. This made me uncomfortable since I had clearly communicated what service I wanted beforehand. Why wake me up to pitch an upsell? This was my second visit; the first time, I had a pleasant experience with a female therapist who gave me a great massage, which is why I returned. After my strange encounter with Kevin, I shared my experience with my friend who recommended the place. She told me that during her last visit, she had him as well, and he tried to upsell her during her massage too, making her feel uncomfortable. My friend has been going there for over a year and has never had an issue with the other therapists, so this was a new and unusual experience for both of us. I'm glad she clarified that this wasn't the norm for the business and the other therapists did not have this practice. The best experience I ever had! It is clear from the 17+ negative comments and reviews, this all came from the same person. I even have a screen shot of their conversation on FB. This has been reported to Yelp! As it violates the TOS. We have also passed this on to our local police department for harassment. They are doing an investigation. I had made several attempts to call and schedule an appointment while I was in town. They did not answer until around the 15th to 20th time. Once they answered, they were completely rude and very unprofessional. They tried to say I never called. Let's just say I did not go through with scheduling an appointment. If they can be that unprofessional and rude over the phone, I can only imagine how bad the customer service would be if I actually went in for an appointment.
