Our 2.75 year old champion sleeper started randomly taking 2+ hours to go to sleep with delay tactics and hysterics and/or waking up at 5-6am complaining of darkness or "scary dreams." She also went from super calm and easygoing to very fussy and cranky most days. It took us about three weeks to realize my going back to the office and no longer working from home/being able to see her in the morning before preschool was likely affecting her. We got Lorraine's contact info from a friend and we are so, so, so glad we decided to work with her. Our initial Zoom call was so reassuring and with no pressure - Lorraine let us know we had likely hit a bump in the road and that things could get back on track with a 1-week package of unlimited texting/Trello support. Lifesaver! I was going out of my mind with my three kids (6, 4, and 2 1/2). The 2 1/2 year old was waking up around 4:30 most mornings and it was killing my time to do work, exercise, and most of all, my sanity. The tricky thing was that all of my kids sleep in close proximity (2 and 4 year old share a room), so she was able to help me modify all of their behaviors. When I first connected with Lorraine I was 6.5 months pregnant and we had been having sleep issues with our 2 year old for months and with a baby coming we knew we needed to get it under control. Lorainne was amazing to work with. After one consultation, our toddler was sleeping through the night. She gave us lots of tips and tools to use to get our 2.5 year old sleeping on his own. Our toddler was pretty good at sleeping, but he would wake up at least 1-2 times per night asking to be re-tucked into bed. After teaching him how to tuck himself in, and some tough love, he learned to do it on his own. The best part of working with Lorainne was the text message support each night to provide real-time tips when our toddler was melting down and crying at the door to his room. I know she can't be available in real-time for everyone and for every night, but when it worked out it was really helpful. We only really needed to work with her for 1 week.
