This is Serenitea's new(er) location - with a clear lounge feel compared to their cafe on Marquette University's campus. Certainly gives a vibe that you can come and unwind here with R&B playing lightly in the background. Tables have a good amount of space between them, making for a good spot to cowork or study (it's nearby to UW-Milwaukee's campus). Oh, the drinks? It is a boba tea spot after all. On point. They come in fancy glasses - making the experience more upscale and fit the lounge setting. This may be my new go-to spot for boba, especially if I have time to sit there and enjoy it.

I live quite close to this lovely, lovely post, and have repeated to myself over and over since they opened- "I need to stop by!". I finally did yesterday! Yay me! I met up with a friend and had the best time. We both had this delightful oolong infused (?) smoky whiskey cocktail. It's fantastic with a beautiful smoke presentation. Not sure how to explain it better than that. Which means you need to experience it for yourself! The bartender was so incredibly friendly and kind. I appreciate the wonderful job he did with our drinks as well. The lounge is so intimate, spacious, and welcoming. Amazing attention to detail with the bar setup and seating. Minimalist but still interesting and eye catching. They have so many varieties of brewed teas, bubble teas, boba teas, and smoothies. Likely more. Highly recommend checking out the cocktail menu. You should really go visit right NOW!

Very cool bubble tea inspired cafe/bar, with a wide variety of tea, bubble tea/smoothie and cocktail drinks to choose from. It's a cool hybrid concept that I'd like to see more of, if there was one near me I'd go often. I got a blind tiger, which is basically an espresso martini, and the Mr. Taro frozen cocktail, essentially a taro tea smoothie with booze added, but both were very good. It's quieter like a cafe instead of a bar, so it can be a place to read and relax and sip a drink or 2. It's nice to see different concept places like this. If I'm back in town I'd stop in again.

My friend and I dropped by Two recently for a birthday drink. This place has a great classic…read morecocktail list and fun ice cream drinks. Since we'd just had a disappointing dinner, we opted for ice cream drinks as a treat. They were both very good and picture perfect. The bartender was polite and service was good. We were in early and the place was quite empty, but it filled as the night went on. Two is not big, but it's cute as hell with retro decor and intimate booths, perfect for a a date night. Mid-century mod and kitty cat decor for the win. I may well make this a regular haunt.

Hubsy gushed about this bar enough that I resisted until Saturday night when I felt restless. Inside, Two is a low-lit neighborhood bar. There's a fair number of large tables for groups and the booths noted by other reviewers behind bead curtains. Two glows like the inside of a supernatural heart. Warm, red, and playing some solid music -- some I recognized (Death Cab for Cutie) and others I didn't (the bluesy tune). There's a jukebox. The location: Located next to its flashier cousin, Art Bar, it's easy to miss Two. About 3-4 blocks west of Humboldt on Burleigh, use Art Bar as your landmark. There's plenty of unmetered street parking on Burleigh or the residential streets. The service: When we walked in, we were greeted immediately by the bartender. She also asked if we had ever been there before. Based on the people who came in after us, my guess is that she knows the regulars. Very cool. The drinks: My first sip of Dark and Stormy was all rum. I didn't mind, so when I stirred, it was perfectly balanced. Good ginger beer, good rum. The Moscow Mule Hubsy got was sweeter than my drink which was surprising but delightful. Each of our drinks were $8.50. I didn't pay attention to the beer specials, but maybe next time. Next time: I'll probably stay longer to do some people-watching and writing. Maybe I'll check out the beer.

From the outside it is so bland and you are truly unsure if you are walking into an abandoned building or a crappy towny bar. Once you enter, it may take your eyes a moment to adjust if you are coming in from a bright sunny day. Foundation Bar has super low lighting, very moody. There is ample seating and a few different seating options; bar stools, booths, high top tables. Seat yourself. To order drinks you walk up to the bar. There is not table service. The decorations here are great! There are some really incredible pieces and collections! Some I would love to have if I could find them. This is a very laid back atmosphere, very chill not loud or overbearing so relax and enjoy the ambiance. I believe my drink was called El Diablo and was very good. My boyfriend chose a Zombie which is always strong! He preferred my drink!

I could've stayed here for hours! Drinks were strong, authentic, and very reasonably priced. I loved the mystery rum mixes and how every drink is so different. We tried the volcano bowl, Mai tai, and zombie. Volcano bowl was obviously a fun drink, but the zombie was my favorite! Can't wait to go back!
