Golden Mango Bliss Smoothie: 5/5, it was just a perfect blend of mango and sweet without it feeling overwhelming. Ancient Brown Sugar Milk Tea: 5/5, just as amazing as the smoothie, in its own way! Again might've been the fresh tapioca pearls :) Inside is so clean and roomy, great for getting some work done. Parking available.

The place is small, and nicely furnished, with some natural light coming through the front and rear entrances. The server was friendly and did a great job to answer my questions. (thanks Emily). This is not your typical coffee shop or cafe. There are some very interesting drinks and food items, that you will not find anywhere else. I typically get a hot Tea Latte (London Fog or Chai Latte), but they don't offer those. I was initially disappointed but I quickly got over it. I ended up getting the Creme Brulee Croissant, and a Ancient Brown Sugar Tea. Let's first talk about the Croissant, truly amazing. Like a Creme Brulee (which I love) it has a layer of caramelized sugar on top. The taste and texture was amazing. The Brown Sugar Tea, was very good, but very sweet. I skipped the boba part (tapioca pearls), but might try it next time. The place was quiet and cozy. Some other customers came in and were either working or having quiet conversations. Great environment to bring a book and read. I'll be back, and this time with a friend.

From ordering to pickup, the entire process only took a few minutes, and my drink came out perfect. It's impressive how efficient and accurate the system is while still making high-quality coffee. The convenience alone makes me want to come back regularly, especially on busy mornings. Super clean setup, easy ordering, and unbelievably quick service. Definitely one of the most unique and futuristic coffee experiences I've had!

There's a lot to like about Octane. I think it's a great idea. I was driving by and decided to give…read moreit a try. I realize this is a completely automated concept and that it may not meet the standards of a shop with an actual barista, but I was willing to give it a go. You don't know unless you try. I needed to install the app before placing my order, and it was incredibly easy to get started. Within a couple of minutes I had an account set up and was able to order and pay. The entire ordering process was very smooth. I love the idea that the system uses geolocation to put your drink in the queue at the right time so it is at the proper temperature when you arrive. Since I was already there, I pulled up to the kiosk and could see the progress of my order. I was briefly confused by some of the language and symbols on the kiosk, but I was lucky that the owner happened to be on site. He came over to chat, as I was the only one there, and confirmed my understanding. Thanks Adrian. When the kiosk indicated my drink was ready, I pulled up to the small building. There are a few essentials available before the beverage window, including trays, stoppers, and straws for anyone who needs them. At the window, a camera reads the QR code from your phone. A small door opens and your drink appears. Each cup is printed with the specific recipe, which is a nice touch. My issue was with the actual drink, a chai latte. It was nicely made. The foam was good, although the texture the drink could have been more "frothy". The temperature was right, and the flavor was mostly there. The problem for me was the sweetness. It was too sweet. I also wondered if the chai mix or concentrate contains an artificial sweetener. I am sensitive to those, and it seemed possible. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into this concept. Aside from the drink itself, which is of course the whole point, the experience was essentially flawless. Other customers with different preferences may find it to be a great fit. If I came back again, I would probably try the matcha tea latte. PS - after responding to the follow message for my order, and giving a less than perfect rating, I was immediately contacted with a text message. I was able to provide some of this feedback directly. I thought that was a very proactive thing. Speaks a lot to their interest in understanding any gaps or misses.

Stopped in again for another try…read more We are not currently into many of the standard health foods or drinks that this place has to offer (perhaps someday), but we do like the atmosphere and the friendly customer service. Ordered a simple chai latte, and what I ended up getting was something else, likely one of their collagen mixes. I brought it back, and after a little discussion, we decided they could steep a chai bag, steam and froth the milk, and make a latte out of it. And it worked. However, the vanilla and hazelnut sweeteners they use are sugar free, and for me those tend to have an unpleasant aftertaste and can even make me a little nauseous. Not a huge issue, but I did mention it as I was leaving, and the barista understood right away. They don't offer alternative flavored syrups, but they do have honey, which I'd definitely ask for next time. Split a Power Bar with my friend, and that was filling and delicious. Lots of tasty ingredients and just the right texture. Super friendly service by everyone who works there.

It's in a good neighborhood with accessible parking and includes an up & downstairs for enjoying your coffee, doing work, reading, etc. (You can even reserve the larger tables...) I really enjoyed their aesthetic & was able to focus on what I needed to get done upstairs (picture included). I liked the variety of beverages & the açaí bowls seem amazing, so I will have to come back to get a taste of one of those! One of the baristas was kind enough to offer me the remainder of the drink I ordered in a to-go cup from the blender (it was a $10 drink after all). If you have the time (& money, depending on what you're getting) check it out for yourself and enjoy!
