What a great local spa, tucked away into a small shopping center. I love coming when I need a little pick me up for sore tight muscles. The staff is super friendly, the facilities are clean, warm and inviting. I came in today after a long much needed relaxation day. I was able to get an appointment online, same day, for a deep tissue massage with Terron. She's a great massage therapist that works magic on your body. My muscles were tight all over from overworking them and by the time I left I was as loose as a goose. Terron takes her time and adjusts her pressure based on how your body feels and what your body needs. I feel centered and energized after my massage. So happy and highly recommend Terron and the staff here at Serenity. They have a whole host of spa services to fit your needs and will look to try some of their other offerings. They have a small store front with Aveda & Obagi products which I have purchased from. Note: they are not affiliated with the Aveda rewards program despite selling Aveda products. Decided to come here on a last minute trip to Fort Lauderdale. I chose this Spa because they use AVEDA products. I personally love AVEDA products. I got the Head-to-Toe package. It was an amazing experience! I was so relaxed during and afterword, I believe I feel asleep multiple times! At first I was underwhelmed by the look of the place but it is a different world when inside. The staff were all super sweet, and helpful. The place was super clean, and tranquil. Another selling point to this Spa is the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of the treatments. I wish we had a place like this in NYC. read more

I only write reviews for really horrible or really amazing experiences... and this was one of those rare amazing ones! I was greeted kindly and quickly and taken to the cute little tea room. I didn't wait long before Carlos took me to the room. I told him I was suffering from tension headaches and wanted my neck and shoulders addressed. I booked a 90 min deep tissue and he spent a good amount of time working my head, neck and shoulders. I, in fact, did shed some tears of relief. I appreciate that he wasn't soft handed or hesitant. I've been getting massages for 20 years... this is top 5. Carlos had skill, experience and healer's intuition. He got into spots that other therapists just glossed over despite my requests. My boyfriend and I tried out this spa on a vacation to Fort Lauderdale. After reviewing Yelp, this was the spot we settled on since we weren't familiar with the area. Neither of us frequent spas, but I used to work reception at a small highly rated spa, so I had relatively high expectations. I booked online via the contact form since I had a few special requests/general questions, and the receptionist promptly called back not too long after I sent the message. She was very friendly and sweet although she explained that the spa could only accommodate 1 pedicure at a time, which I thought was a little odd since it's common for pairs to get pedis together. We ended up needing to arrange our appointments so that he got a pedicure while I got a body wrap and then he got a massage while I got my pedicure. Not ideal, but it worked timing-wise. One thing that I would definitely recommend is for the clients to be asked if they've ever had a service before and also to briefly explain the process that we'd be going through. Especially for something that requires getting completely undressed. The technicians and the receptionist were all very polite and sweet. They brought us water and made the experience comfortable. My body wrap was very relaxing and calming and my boyfriend enjoyed his massage as well. The pedicure was a little awkward I have to say. The technician was very sweet although quiet but the atmosphere was just a little odd. The pedicure room is a very small room with nothing else really inside except a chair (not an actual pedicure chair) and the technician brought in a tub of water and hot rocks to put your feet in. She did a great job and the pedicure still looks great almost one month later but it would have been a more enjoyable experience had they been able to perform two pedis at once (I'm not sure if it's lack of staff or equipment). There really wasn't much to say so I felt like I just needed to read the magazines that were set off to the side. I would definitely recommend this spa for the customer service and the quality of the services but may recommend going elsewhere for a pedicure experience. read more

The spa smelled wonderful; bold aromatherapy scents that prepares you for a zen experience. Serenity is very clean and practices social distance measures during COVID-19. Communication with both masseurs were spot on. As and LGBT couple, they made our experience very comfortable and enjoyable. My wife needed specific areas to be worked on. Terron exceeded my wife's expectations, she's strong!! Ray was excellent, he stretched my limbs to that perfect point of pain and pleasure. His technique of massage and stretching was enjoyable. Took my mom for an early Mother's Day treat. So I didn't get any service myself. But I was told to shhhh when I was reviewing the services I ordered. How rude. She also asked me to pay before my mom was done with her services which was fine too. But then she asked me how much I wanted to leave as a tip. I told her that it depends on how my me liked the services she got. How annoying.. It's not like I am going to run off... My mother was still inside getting work done. After my mom came out, I found out that the masseuse gave her a 60 minute rather than the 90 I booked, but after a few minutes, she realized it was a 90 min massage and continued to work. But the girl at the front irked me. Which is too bad since my mom was rather happy with the service she got. May or may not be bringing my mom back. read more
