A Promise and excellent work says it all! A friends family had been in the baking business for 66 years and recently closed as everyone was ready to retire. I went by once the shop closed and found and old rusty very long slicing knife that was missing part of the handle. I found these guys on line and sent them the knife. These guys took the rotten handles off cleaned and polished the blade, shortened it ( as the Dad of my friend that started the shop. used the knife to slice through large cakes for special fillings), by 3". OMG!!!!!! it looks like a brand new knife. It is not cheap but total quality work. They give you a choice of wood or even bone for the handle, use brass rivets, polished and sharpened the blade. They respond to emails and phone calls and I got the knife in time to send it off for Christmas 2019. read more

Nice guys I paid $30 for a double edged boot knife but Daniel unfortunately ruined the tip I wouldn't say completely ruined but it's not as well formed as it once was on top of that the knife feels only slightly sharper than what it originally was they're good dudes but I don't think I would go back to them. I wish I didn't go at all that knife was special to me. On top of that I thought some of the knives on the wall they weren't razor sharp if I'm paying over $100 for a knife I want it to be hairsplitting sharp. I first found Serenity Knives/Russell while visiting Oxheart's website. His knives are truly beautiful. I again found Russell here on yelp, while searching for knife sharpening. I was very happy to find out he did knife sharpening. I brought my knives, a set of Zwilling J.A. Henckels Professional S, that have been lovingly cared for over the last 5 years, until the past month when my in-laws abused them. Russell looked at every edge and knew what to do. I thought I had ruined my wonderful Kramer/Zwilling kitchen knife by using it to cut into one of those impossible to open plastic clamshell packages. I seriously damaged the blade and took about a quarter inch divot out of the middle of the blade. I came within 5 minutes of tossing it as damaged beyond repair, but thought I'd look online for a knife repair shop. Luckily, I found Serenity Knives in the Heights. The are located in the garage behind the house at the address on Harvard. They repaired my knife and now it is good as new (if not a bit smaller). The work was done in about two hours, and the fee for the repair was very reasonable. They've even got a little knife and knife accessory shop on the premises if you want to buy something new. These guys are the best and I'll definitely use their services again. read more

Got all my kitchen knives sharpened here, plus an extremely dulled hunting blade, and i'm not kidding these things are sharp. The two guys who own Serenity knives are really cool and easy to talk to. My wife and I later brought in our favorite kitchen knife to have a custom one made in a similar shape. The balance, edge, and beauty (see pic) of our new knife is spectacular!!!
