I wanted to like Lush Nail Bar Grant Park soooo bad, but NO. I always end up remembering why I stopped coming. The work is inconsistent and they charge whatever they want, so ask the price before they begin. How inconsistent? This is my third review. My initial one was after a couple of bad experiences. Found another salon, but a couple of years later after my nail tech moved, I gave them another shot. Two visits in on that go-round, gave them four stars, but my time with Lush Nail Bar Grant Park was short lived because I had to come in (on three different occasions) to have a nail repaired within a week of service. Fast forward a year, I pop in and here we are... I requested a gel overlay and also needed to soak off dip powder. When checking out, the total originally showed: $65 + $10 Soak off = $75 It went to the tip screen, but before I could add the tip and close it out, the screen flashed, and the total changed. I briefly saw it say $75 + $10 Soak off = $85 before showing the tip screen again. Noticing this, I asked her to go back to the itemized view to explain why the price just changed. She really didn't, or it wasn't very clear to me, but I did not want to be that girl, so I just paid (and tipped as usual). I get to the car and notice on my receipt that she had rang me up for an acrylic FULL SET and soak off. That was the change. I did not get a full set as these are my natural nails. I go back inside and the young lady who works the front desk tries to re-ring it up to confirm what the price should be, but she could not figure out the discrepancy. Note: This is not the same person who originally checked me out; the nail tech did. At this point, she asks Vinh what did she ring up. When the totals still did not match - Vinh just starts adding things in to make it match. "Oh, extra $5 for shape. $5 for nail length." In the end I now have a receipt that now says $54 for the main service + 10 soak off + $10 mani w service + $5 shape + $5 length. *Also, so I paid extra for shape, but were they really? I already had almond nails. She asked if i wanted them cut down. I said, yes, you can cut them down so they're all even (since this thumb is shorter). They were not all cut down and that thumb is still shorter! So, if you're going to charge extra for it, make sure you do it right! Also, the ring finger was to be white and gold as on the nail polish card (used to pick colors). It came out just gold flakes. Looks like this should have been a coat of white, and then the coat of gold flakes. I didn't really make her change it for the sake of time because it was already on my nail and still looked ok.. but in hindsight, with as much as I paid (for white nails, no designs) I would've been making sure we got the details right. The nails are cute. I just didn't appreciate the price changing after we've already totaled it - and to realize it wasn't a glitch, but her trying to slip things in. read more

I needed an emergency nail appointment before a trip, and I called Lush to get penciled in. Luckily, I only had to wait about 15-20 minutes. I love the decor, it's super glam, with good lighting and bright but ambient light. Jenny, the manager, promptly greets everyone, and Patrick did my nails. He even helped me pick my color out. I had to be at another appointment by 4:30, and I finished right at 4:15pm, and made it to my appointment on time. It's not far from my office, and parking is super easy (I always do street right in front, but there's also a lot). read more

This is my favorite nail spot! I've been searching for a place that doesn't misrepresent their prices or heavily overcharge while still providing great quality. I can't believe I've found what I was looking for so close to home. I get SNS nails (usually something pretty simple), and it always takes an hour or less to remove my old nails and get my new ones looking perfect. The music here is always great - no cheesy, weird 90s love songs that I hear in other Atlanta salons - and there is usually something interesting on one of the TVs (today it was Top Chef). The nail technicians are friendly and helpful, and they always let me bring the color options to the seat with me when I'm having trouble picking. No one has made my cuticles bleed or been too rough on my nails. I'll update this review with more photos as I continue to give this nail salon my business! Great job, Lush. read more

I've been to this location at least 10 times and every time I go I'm disappointed in one way or another. The nail technicians either don't pay attention to detail, ie: mismatched filing of nails, not cutting dead skin around nail, etc. or they rush through services. The straw that broke the camel's back happened today. I paid $77 for one of their luxury pedicures that lasted about as long as a regular pedicure that is about half the price, even though there were extra steps and supposed to be an additional massage. Not only that, but the tech didn't wipe away excess gel polish that pooled on the edge of the nails before curing, so my pedicure looks sloppy. Save your time and money and go elsewhere people. read more

I asked for a soak off but the nail tech decided to try to rip the acrylic from my nails using a finger nail clipper because she was rushing. I was overcharged for "deep" French. I was also charged for the length when I asked for short nails. The nail tech couldn't complete the design that I initially wanted so I had to settle for simple nails. I was told the bow accessory I wanted would fall off in 3 days. My friend also received a service and her nails were also over charged. She showed them a color, they brought back chrome and charged her $100 for her nails, which included no designs... they rush the service for certain customers. . By far the worst nail experience I ever had and it was my birthday. Patrick was very rude and condescending during my whole experience. He actually made me cry because I was so upset. Every request I made he made an excuse why he can't do it, it was clear he wanted me to be in and out and didn't want to do any extra request. The long pauses for him to smoke his vape or inability to do my request was not my breaking point. What really inclined me to write this review was when I asked him to fix a nail that appeared crooked TO ME. He proceeded to tell me its not crooked and its the way my nail grows; however I just wanted him to file one side down for the appearance. This man proceeds to aggressively file my nail to the point it's lopsided (after I told him to stop filing) and laugh in my face saying thats what I asked for. It's the gaslighting of a customer for me. I had to have the receptionist for assistance. What a terrible experience at LUSH nails. My birthday nails are ugly and what a terrible way to end my day. It's pretty inside but expensive for the service they provide. Wait times are not accurate. Appointments are not honored. Theres no compassion for their customers. The other day I came in requesting 3 pedicures. We all came in together. They did two other pedicures while i sat there and watched. Then tried to start on mine..like uhhh we all came together so you can just cancel my pedicure at this point . & I was the one that was paying! Lol (as im typing this someone just got up and left because they sat them at the table an hour ago and never began her service). Lisa does GREAT pedicures but everything else sucks. Nice shop and very accommodating. This nail bar is great, the staff are professional and super friendly plus their regulations are up to par with the COVID regulations. My nail tech Kaylee was very detailed, accurate, and quick with her work. You have to tip toe around the personalities and provide customer service to them - not the other way around. Some make you feel guilty for being there. Just had the absolute worst pedicure experience here. I have been here before and the guy that usually does my ped does an amazing job using the callous remover and my feet are smooth as butter. However, the young lady that did my nails was rude and refused to give me the callous remover until I called the manager over. She then applied the callous remover with an attitude and did a horrible job. She didn't massage my legs or feet that is part of the service. My feet still has callouses. Worst experience ever! I rarely leave reviews, especially bad ones, but this was the worst pedicure I have ever had! I have been going here for almost 6 years and it has slowly declined in service and quality. It seems as though the ownership has changed quite a few times. The regular nail polish selection is so scarce. I opted for the basic pedicure which took about 25 minutes from start to finish. That time is including waiting for the water to fill up and paying. The nail technician was on his phone half of the time. He clipped my toe nails down to the quick with cuticle trimmers and then attempted to use a file which basically was sawing my skin. He did a light scrub with the pumice stone avoiding the heels and big toes which needed it the most. The polish job was decent followed up by a quick 10 second application of lotion to my legs with zero effort. I debated on complaining to the manager but was not even asked how the service was. She was actually in the middle of having her nails done and did not acknowledge me at all! Won't be going here ever again. read more

Unfortunately, they were not able to execute my design accurately, I'm still satisfied for the most part. Definitely recommend Rachel for the Pedicure, she's great and friendly. Since I started going the service has declined and the amount of patrons has revved up. I started making appointments and even then I am waiting over 30 minutes before any one starts on my services (normally SNS & a pedicure). I have had to had my pedicure polish redone by someone else before I left because there is an older woman there who tries her best but can not polish toes without it being messy. The last I went, I knew it would be my last time as I was there for close to 3 hours on a TUESDAY. My services (SNS & pedi) were not complete until almost 9pm. read more

The customer service here was non existent. I picked a SNS nail color and asked for the matching color for my toes. A pretty light purple w sparkles was the color I picked. The color in my toes was pretty, not the same as the color on the nail swatch but whatever. I sat through a pedicure that was just okay. She scrubbed the side of my big toe on so hard that she broke the skin. Then came the leg scrub. Except, I was wondering when she was going to do the other leg and she said she already did both. I thought I must be crazy but I don't recall her shifting to my other leg w the sugar scrub. After an hour long pedicure I was moved the a seat where my manicure would be done. With SNS powder you can't really tell what the color is going to look like until almost finished. After the 3rd coating of powder I asked if the color was right. It was like a brick red. I said that the colors look nothing alike and the nail tech said they use the regular polish to paint the nail swatch and "I don't know why they never match" and she looked at the bottom of the container and said she was confused because the shade numbers matched. I mean, this is common and you don't pull the product from your inventory?! I told her how unhappy I was with the color and she offered to add a coat of a darker color to my toes to make it match. I wanted a pretty light purple, NOT BRICK RED!!!! So there's no way the fix the Nails on my fingers unless we remove the SNS entirely. That would require soaking it off and starting all over. By now, and hour and 30 minutes I spent in that salon and I did not have any more time to sit there. I asked if I could come back the next day to have her fix it and she said yes and proceeded to charge me full price. She didn't even offer the Yelp 20% off discount to make up for the faulty color. She went to tell someone else (a male) the problem, and he simply yelled over from his nail station "There's nothing we can do, it's not our fault that the colors don't match. That's how they give them to us" You've got to be freaking kidding me! So yeah, I'll never go here again. I returned here after new management reached out to me letting me know that person wasn't working there anymore. I had very friendly, efficient (both hand and feet worked on at the same time) and overall great experience. It's at least three weeks later and only one Nail has chipped (I have tips) But the other night and have their polish perfectly intact. During that same visit my friend didn't have such a great experience, since her technician kept cutting weight too deep on her toe nail, causing it to bleed. She complained 3 times to the nail technician that she was hurting her. She ended up getting an infection. I return this past Saturday with a friend to get pedicures. It was about noon and I had expected the place to be packed but luckily it wasn't. There might have been 10 clients there. We got right in to the pedicure chairs and were offered drinks, but other than that we had no interaction for 20 minutes after that when we decided to leave.
