I debated writing this review because I genuinely enjoy supporting local businesses, but unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing salon experiences I've had. On May 21st, I came in for a full set and a pedicure before leaving for a trip. During my appointment, I noticed the shape of my nails looked uneven and mentioned it several times. I was told they looked fine, despite the fact that each nail appeared to be a different shape and size. I also requested regular polish on my toes but gel polish was started instead. When I pointed out my concerns again, I was told only one nail was an issue and that there wasn't enough time to fix the rest. I decided to leave and move on, but the very next day my pinky nail snapped in half while I was simply cooking and opening a cabinet. Because I was leaving town that day, I returned right when the salon opened. I was initially told to come back the next day, which wasn't possible, and then was asked to return an hour later. When I came back, the broken nail was repaired, but it was noticeably thicker than the others. I also pointed out again that several nails were uneven and that one thumb wasn't fully painted. I was told the manager was on vacation, but that when I returned from my trip the set would be redone at no cost since the issues were the salon's mistake. After returning from vacation, I called to schedule the promised correction. Unfortunately, I was met with a rude response, was told there was nothing they could do, and that I should have had the nails fixed before leaving--even though I had already attempted to do exactly that and had been assured they would be redone when I returned. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What disappointed me most was not the initial service, but the lack of consistency, accountability, and customer service after I repeatedly tried to address the issues. I truly wanted to give the salon the opportunity to make things right, but unfortunately that never happened. read more

Prices are nice but quality is too inconsistent. You can get a great service one time & a crap one the next. I'm upset I just paid $80 for my pedi/fill & my nails aren't even & are lumpy. My pedicure was the most quick lackluster pedicure I've ever had but it was the best part of my visit today. I'm sitting in the parking lot trying not to cry that I spent 4 hours worth of pay for my nails to look like complete crap. I asked her to fix them & felt embarrassed doing so, so when they still weren't right I just wanted to pay & leave. Ann is the best there is! I've been coming to Ann for about 6 1/2 years now. Her attention to detail for both my pedicure and acrylic fill are second to none. She is extremely talented and has been able to create any design I've asked her to create as far as nail designs go. My first experience was nice got what I wanted which was a French tip acrylic and a soak off . My second visit was honestly not the best , I came in to do a soak off of my previous set to give my self a break the person doing my nails started with the soak off 25 mins in he try's to put a acrylic nail under the nail he was soaking to try and remove it AND RIPPED MY WHOLE NAIL it was bleeding and I was watching the tv they had there and when I felt the pain and what he was doing I told him to stop because it hurt so bad ! If I wanted to pop them off I could have done that at home and not waste 15$ . I expressed to another employee that claimed to be the manager and she just rubbed it off like it's something they sometimes do to make it come off but it's like 1. My pain was not acknowledged 2. My nail ripped in half ! 3. She tried to glue it after words and I was just so annoyed at that point because I have my baby shower coming up and now I have to wait for the nail to heal to be able to use acrylic . Upon entering the door has a station like as soon as you walk in through the door, which I found a bit oddly placed if you were to be sat there, it might be too close to the door as others repeatedly enter on a busier time of the day. I wouldn't want to sit there as everyone enters. It was so odd usually it's the reception counter first when you enter a soon. This was my first time here after it was recommended by my cousins, we stopped by here with our moms and myself got our nails done manicure and pedicures, my cousin set up the appointments and it was a nicely booked group of 5, you'd imagine they'd want to make a good impression on a larger booking for returning business.... For the most part everything came out nicely except for two of my cousins acrylic nails were placed noticeably crooked, her nails went in a complete different direction than her finger and other nails, she didn't want to say anything, bc she was probably embarrassed... to be fair my nail polish doesn't look bad but it was not the color I wanted at all... when I showed the nail tech the nail polish design I wanted, I asked her if she could do the detailing on my nails as is without acrylic and she said yes "for you I'll do it" so when I was sitting there as my nails were painted I noticed they looked slightly different, I thought maybe they would eventually look more blue thinking maybe I just needed to trust their application process. Towards the end of the polish application she asked me if I still wanted the detailing and it seemed like bc the rest of the girls in the shop had left she didn't want to do it anymore and started to tell me it wouldn't be possible, basically she changed her mind about it, which I could understand wanting to leave fine...What upset me the most was when I mentioned the color was not as I had asked, they showed me a different nail swatch and tried to pass it off as if that was the nail I chose, it literally had a different number, showed me the color She mixed it up with, trying to pass it off by blocking the number with her finger, yes she placed her finger over the number as if I wouldn't notice or call it out... while hiding the other sample swatches so I wouldn't show it to them again, granted it was similar in design detail but I know the color I chose, because it was blue not green. When I showed her, she specifically mentioned oh you like blue and asked if I wanted to match my nails to my hair bc my hair is currently blue. I can understand if she got it mixed up when she grabbed the color, but I was disappointed at the fact they straight up lied to me and didn't take fault at the mix up. They made up excuses and told me the nail example I chose was an "old" nail example that had "changed color"... and that after two weeks it would look like that laughing. I could tell they were full of sh*t by then and weren't going to take accountability, but ok if that were the case then why tf would they keep it on the sample swatches if it is not an accurate representation of the nail color anymore?? Or if they knew that it wasn't accurate why would they not mention that when I chose it after commenting that I wanted to match my blue hair to my blue nail polish?? I understand she mixed up the color and it wasn't intentional but what disappointed me the most is the way they handled it. I didn't get her name unfortunately, but I won't be returning to this salon. The nails don't look bad, the color I wanted was a cat eye although the magnet details are hardly noticeable, granted it doesn't look awful, the service provided making it seem like it was not a mistake on the techs end, and lying to me as if I was a complete gullible idiot who wouldn't know the difference, is not acceptable. To be honest I doubt they'll care about my review here, but I wanted to share this so others can be sure they don't have this happen to them if/when they come to this salon. However next time I'll just go around to the other side of the Lowe's in the same plaza near the 99 cent store and you'll find another salon within minutes next to Dottys. read more

I walked in and was greeted and asked what service I needed. Nancy came out to do my fill and she did not disappoint. She was gentle and paid attention to detail. I got gel x nails for the first time. I got a full set that costed $95. 1st nail "popped off" after 4 days. I went back and they fixed it. A second nail popped off after 1.5 weeks (they fixed it) and finally... and 3rd nail popped off at 2 weeks. Not going back to fix as this is an inconvenience to my time. Don't know if they don't know how to apply gel x nails to last or if this is just the nature of gel x. ​Don't waste your time or money on nails that come off like press on nails. read more

The ladies are consistently awesome- it doesn't matter who you get to help you. The pedicure is thorough, and my feet look fantastic afterwards until my next trip in.
