I booked a full set of acrylics with regular polish for 2 of my daughters, and I booked a deluxe pedicure. Once there, i upgraded my pedicure to a seashell pedicure for the paraffin wax and extra 3 minutes of massage. The soaking water was lukewarm/almost cold, definitely not relaxing. The massage shouldn't be called a massage at all. She slid her hands and seashells up and down my legs without applying any pressure whatsoever. No foot massage, which I definitely could've used because I am on my feet constantly throughout the day. She even stopped her "massage" about a minute before the 13 minute timer was up. The polish on my toenails is horrible. There is polish on my skin, lumps, and the color is way too far away from my cuticles, making it look crazy. My toenails are cut extremely short to where it's painful, and they are all uneven. I will not be wearing sandals until they grow out and I can get back into my usual salon to fix them. For the first set of acrylics with regular polish, i was charged for a set of gel x nails. Obviously I didn't book that nor want that. The nails ended up being absolutely atrocious and do not look professionally done in the slightest. They are lumpy, have many jagged, unsmooth edges, and there are multiple spots where there is no polish, or the glitter does not cover the base color. The second set was booked as the same, but i was charged for an acrylic set with gel polish. These are the best looking nails out of the bunch, but there are still a few jagged edges and a completely different glitter was used than in the inspiration photo that my daughter showed her tech. Both my girls left extremely disappointed as this was their first set of "fake nails" for back to school, but they are sweet and didn't want to complain or upset their nail techs. I would've mentioned being charged for things I didn't book when checking out, but the only thing I was shown was the total, and the receipt didn't get delivered to my phone until we were already almost home, and we live close to an hour away.

She has already lost so much, and one of the very few things that still gives her joy and dignity is having her nails done. This nail tech rescheduled three times in June, three times in July, and four times in August and after all that, she never came. That's not a mistake, that's a pattern. It shows she is completely inconsistent, unreliable, and unprofessional. But the worst part wasn't even her failure to show up, it was her response. When I explained the impact this had on my wife, she didn't apologize, she didn't acknowledge it, she didn't even try to make it right. Instead, she got defensive and dismissive, actually telling me she "doesn't owe" me anything. Think about that: knowing she let down a disabled neurological patient, her answer was basically too bad, not my problem. That's not just bad business, it's heartless. It shows a total lack of compassion, empathy, and basic human decency. If you can treat someone in my wife's position this way, you are not fit to be in business serving people at all. If you value kindness, professionalism, or dependability, do yourself a favor and stay far away. There are plenty of nail techs who will gladly take your money and treat you like a human being. This one will do neither.

I had surgery and had gone to another local physical therapy center before and after my surgery and…read morehad gotten frustrated with them because when I kept telling them that the therapy was aggravating another part of my body their attitude was so do it anyway. I ended up stopping early and found out I actually needed surgery on the other body part the therapy was hurting. After that surgery I went to Valir and wow was I impressed! Trey and Tammy are awesome. Trey takes the time to listen and each time I go in I'm not just doing the same thing day after day. He adjusts my therapy each session so that when I walk out I may be sore but I can actually tell I'm getting better. I also appreciate that he is my therapist and it's pretty much been 1-1 or on occasion there has been another patient but it's staggered so that either the other person is ending when I'm beginning or opposite. Trey wants you to get better so you may do the same exercises but he increases the intensity so that you get stronger. If an exercise hurts or your having a bad pain day he listens and adjusts what your doing or changes the work out completely so that you still get a good work out but you don't leave in frustration because your hurting worse because it was too aggravating. If you have another concern, like for me it's balance, he has adjusted my therapy so that I am still getting the strengthening but he's added things to help get my balance back unlike the other place where it was the same exercises at the same intensity time after time. He also explains what your doing, watches to make sure you have the correct body position and explains each exercise and why your doing it so you have a good understanding of how it works and why. This may sound stupid but Trey and Tammy have been a blessing after all that I have been through and I feel confident after my next surgery, which will probably be soon, that once I finish my therapy after that surgery I will have the best chance at returning to work and home life almost like before.
