I booked my first Brazilian sugar appointment through their online booking service in April 2019 at the RH location. Jasmyne was my aesthetician, she made me feel comfortable and walked me through the process of my service. I left not knowing what the results should look and feel like, but now that I've gotten a bunch of Brazilian sugars done (with another business), I can confirm that my experience with Sugar Me Spa was not great. I still had a lot of hair that hadn't been "pulled" out by the sugar, but I thought that's how Brazilian waxes were as it was my first time receiving one. It looked like I had shaved quickly and didn't bother to go over a second time to get all the remaining hairs. It didn't bother me as I trusted the process and was planning to book with Sugar Me Spa again once time came. Their online booking was extremely inaccurate in regards to the times and/or dates available for services. I booked my second appointment, only to be texted that the establishment was closed during the time slot I had chosen and I had reschedule. I wasn't able to reschedule, so I cancelled it instead. I booked another appointment 1 month later (with Jasmyne as I already dealt with her my first time around), through the same online system. I received another text a week before my appointment stating Jasmyne was not working during the date and time I had chosen. I was offered different dates and times to reschedule, however, time was too tight to reschedule. I asked if another aesthetician could provide the service, to no avail. I rescheduled my appointment 1 month later (with Jasmyne) in August 2019, only to be texted that Jasmyne couldn't make it to work and was asked to reschedule again... Overall, over a span of 4 months, I went once with mediocre results. Their appointment booking service is extremely hectic and inconsistent.

I find all the packages are expensive for example the monthly unlimited package for the "super" beds is $67.99+tax so $76.83 now that gives you 30 days of tanning. Well in fact it does NOT in the summer they are closed 2 out of 7 days and the winter they are closed 1 out of 7 days, that's not including holiday closings that's just their regular hours of operation, so add on holidays for some months and you lose even more. So for example let's say you sign up for July 1st 2015 for a monthly unlimited super bed package for 30 days, well the 1st is a holiday so it's closed so that's 1 day out of 30 gone :( it's summer so they are closed Sunday's & Monday's & there's 4 weekends that month so you lose another 8 days. So in total for the month of July you lose 9 of your 30 tanning days, so technically you're paying $76.83 to tan for 21 days out of the 30 you're supposed to get. With that being said they have no member reward programs or incentives for long time customers or new and I think that any customer service based companies would want to do things to keep there customers happy & coming back. So because it's the only tanning salon in the area and they own the next closest one around we are caught between a rock and a hard place, tan close to home and pay out your a$$ or drive out of town and pay decent prices but use up the gas that costs a fortune. So it's a dilemma but I think I may start going out of town for better prices, hours & open 7 days a week. The only reason I gave 1 star is because of the staff that work there, they are why I go back.
