For just $11 plus tip (only $1 more than most places charge) I got my best brow wax ever. She followed my instructions to "clean them up but not make them thin" perfectly. They use a cream-based wax instead of a honey-based one so it doesn't pull off unnecessary skin and barely hurts at all. They also did a great job trimming them shorter, which is an art that few have mastered. To top it all off, they had fresh cookies all around and offered both my boyfriend and myself water or coffee even though they knew they weren't going to make big bucks off of us. (He just sat in the nice waiting area.) This place is tucked away in an awkward corner surrounded by medical and real estate offices, but it is worth the search. The owner later left a voicemail explaining that my stylist had an opportunity to take a color guest and that they decided to cancel my wash/haircut appointment because I had not confirmed. I understand businesses need policies, but I was disappointed by the inconsistency in how the policy was applied. As a long-term client with only one missed appointment on record, I felt my history with the salon was not taken into consideration.

There was alot of what seemed like working on different pressure points throughout the body, I don't know if that's the way to word it but it definitely wasn't a massage like I have experienced with past therapists. Also, there was conversation the ENTIRE time. I couldn't be rude and not respond but a relaxing massage to me is one with no talking unless I am signaling pain or the therapist asks about the level of pressure.
