Everyone at Dolce Lusso is always incredibly nice and professional. Their excellent service is their saving grace. When it comes to any alternative cuts or hairstyles I haven't had much success. I requested short layers and showed a video of what I wanted and left with long layers to the point that it looked like a straight cut rather than the butterfly/wolf cut style I had wanted. After 3 hours (I had also gotten partial hair dye) and $150 I'd want my hair to be perfect. If you want a basic hair cut/dye with excellent service here's a great option, if you want anything trendier or alternative, I'm personally going to just do it myself and save the $150. read more

Got a massage at this spa which was great since my hotel was a 2 minute walk. The salon is huge and spa room was roomy.

Walked in to see if there was availability for a massage. I was fortunate to be paired with massage therapist Clarissa. Truly one of the best massages I have experienced in my lifetime. Not only was she fantastic but the spa portion of the location had a warm vibe. Next time visiting in the area I would absolutely visit again for a massage from Clarissa!!! read more

I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance with Gina and I showed up for my appointment and they did not have me down (ANYWHERE) and not a single apology, they actually made it seem like it was my fault. Very unprofessional, rude and could care less. I suggest that you save your money and go to a Hair Cuttery, you will get the same service. This place is supposed to be a high-end place and the receptionist had no idea how to handle this, train your folks, an apology would have gone a long way. read more

I now see Brianna regularly for my cut and color. WOW. What a treat! She is truly one of the best stylist I've come in contact with. She educates me on what I will need done when I show her the inspiration photos and my hair always comes out exactly how I want. I came across this salon after driving by it after work, and I am so glad I tried it out. I had an appointment yesterday for a cut with long layers, and I am so happy with my results. Caroline was my hair stylist and she did an amazing job. It was my first time getting my hair professionally cut, and she walked me through every step and made me feel so comfortable. She made great conversation and the time felt like it flew by!! She was so professional but still so personable and I cannot wait to book another appointment with her in the future! I went to get my hair done back in June. This was the first time in 3 years I have gone to a stylist because I normally just box dye. I am just now posting about this because it really was a messed up experience and so many people I share this story with tell me I need to write a review. I got a consult for a highlight and I was told by my stylist it would be $100ish. I said great and booked. I am a college student and balling on a budget. My appointment was 8 hours. I went to pay after being irritated it took so long and was told it was $400. I was appalled and asked to have a layout of the price. When my stylist came over to explain to me, she never told me during the session that certain things would cost more. Never once. Not at all. I had no idea what to do. So I paid (holding back tears, not knowing how I would pay for that) and left. I won't be going back sadly because of this experience. Super sad that this is what the world has come to. read more

In a pinch I decided to use box dye once...well it did not react well with my hair. I needed a fix immediately and my usual salon was booked out, as well as other salons in the area. They were the only salon that was able to get me in same day after work. I was scheduled at 3:30, which was tight as I am a teacher and school lets out at 3:10. I told the girl on the phone that I may run about 5-10 mins late, and she said that was fine and thanked me for the heads up. I rushed over there, and got there at 3:40. The employee told me I would have to reschedule since I was late. I explained that whoever I spoke to on the phone said it was ok, but this girl told me there is no exceptions for late appointments. I begged them to let me in, but they said no. I will not be coming to this salon for services ever again. read more

STAY FAR AWAY!!!! I am appauled at the horrific customer service and treatment at this salon. I will never return nor will I refer anyone to this salon. I had 2 appointments scheduled at this salon on Broadcloth St. in Kingsley, Fort Mill. The appointments were for myself and my daughter who is 12. I ran late, called to tell them I was running late. When I arrived, they told me there was a lateness grace period and I was 1 minute passed that and they couldn't accomodate me anymore. I was never told about any grace period when i booked the appointment or when I called to tell them I was running late. Then they said that they could only accomodate 1 of us. I said it's more important for my daughter to get a cut because she leaves for camp this weekend. They said okay. I thought to ask which stylist she'd have the appt with...the inexperienced stylist whos cost is $35 or the experienced stylist whos cost is $75. Interesting enough the only one that could cut my 12 year old daughters hair was the experienced stylist. $75 for a 12 year old hair cut....no thank you! So, I left. There was no trying to work with us. They could have said...we could cut her hair, but won't have the time to blow dry it or something of that nature. Will never return! Anyone looking for a new salon should stay away! When you are paying for a service, customer service should come along with it. Never again! read more

Disappointed. Website states that special occasion makeup starts at $35, I was charged $75. I feel that was very misleading. My daughter had her makeup done for prom and asked for a more natural look...not a lot of makeup. I was happy with her eye makeup but no foundation was applied, just concealer in a couple spots on her face. We didn't have time to ask staff to do more as she had a reservation for dinner. We had already waited 20 min. past her appointment time before she was seen. I feel that we were overcharged for the quality of service. The website prices are very misleading. She also had her hair curled (no wash or blow dry) at the salon in Stonecrest prior to having her makeup done here, and I feel we were overcharged there as well. The price listed for special occasion hair was starting at $50 and we were charged $60. All she had done was curls....no updo or anything else. Each appointment for hair and makeup took no more than 20-30 min. Very disappointed. Definitely feel like I was overcharged for the service we received. Will not be back. read more
