Not very inviting when you arrive. They just ask if you have an appointment. Then your ushered into a room. We were doing a couples massage so we waited and they told us to uundress and get under sheets. They come back again no greetings so I had to tell them to go easy. When they were massaging they are very talented, but the music is nice until the commercials comes on and my massage was interrupted twice because someone came to the front door. Our massage was 45 minutes and they didn't even finish my partners massage. No notice that it's over they just turn light on and exit quickly. When we were leaving no one in front to leave a tip or say goodbye or come again. Will never be back. read more

Went last night for a 60 minute Swedish massage. You really do get what you pay for. The bed squeaked the entire time, the headrest was awful. To top it off I was given a student who was interning. I understand everyone has to start somewhere but you should be notified and given the option to have someone licensed. The massage was also not 60 minutes, more like 45. Decided to treat myself to a massage for my birthday. After some failed attempts to book other places, I figured I would give them a try. They were able to fit me in the same day (within 30 minutes actually). The place is clean, has ambient lighting and relaxing music. It looked like each room has a locking cabinet for you to store your clothes and personal items as well. My massage with great. Just the right pressure and not too soft. I think it's perfectly fine to let your masseuse know what you like. The only thing kind of weird is that the walls to each room don't go all the way up to the ceiling so you can kinda hear if anything is going on out in the hall or lobby. I would say this place is right in the middle of communal massage rooms and high end day spa. read more

WAY too light - not real Swedish Massage would go from feet to leg/body etc with the oil and even when wiping off with the towel. Unsanitary Booked a 2 hour couples massage. Called ahead to confirm. Arrived on time and waited 10 minutes without a soul in sight wondering if they were even open. They rushed us back and I never got to ask for the two add ons we wanted. They accommodated me being pregnant but I figured the masseuse's light hands was because she was being gentle because I was pregnant but then found my husband had as bad of a time. (Actually worse since his masseuse kept kicking the table and wacking his head alongside the light oil rub down ) We are in our 30's not 90's! We don't bruise easy, give a little pressure! DANG My masseuse's touch was lighter than how I put on lotion! I get Swedish massage uses light touches but this was like tickling and not an ounce of pressure was used anywhere. There was ZERO attention to my hands, feet or face when other Swedish massages have. So disappointed I was on my side the whole time so she would move the oils around the upper arm and awkwardly the lower arm. Nothing was symmetrical as far as attention to body parts and similar movements etc. All I could think the whole time was this masseuse makes my amateur massages seem like I'm the trained professional! Also you can hear other people walking around with grippy shoes and creaking floor boards. Next time we'll just go to a $40 hour Thai massage where you keep your clothes on. Booked a massage with Towngate Massage yesterday evening. I arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment and within a few minutes I was shown to a massage room. As it was my first experience with this business, I elected to receive the 45 minute massage with no add ons. The masseuse did a really thorough job with the full body massage. My back back and my feet are forever grateful. It would have been nice to have a quick consultation before the massage, so I could have explained what my issues were and they could determine what type of massage would be the most beneficial for me. I will patronize them again, but next time I'll let them know what my problem areas are and hopefully those areas ( shoulder and neck) will get more attention. read more

My husband booked me a massage here on my birthday so I decided to book him one as an early Father's Day gift for the same time. We arrived on time and were taken to the couples massage room. When we laid down we both discovered the head rests were wobbly and moved constantly. When the massage therapists came into the room neither of us were asked about what pressure we liked and there was no confirmation as to the style of massage we wanted or what areas we may want them to focus on. I am a light to medium pressure person and have been getting swedish massages at many places over the years but I was never asked. 5 minutes into the massage my husband's therapist walked out, she stayed gone for 10 minutes before a male walked in and told my husband his therapist would be unavailable for about 30 minutes because he had a family emergency so she was going to be busy. This is completely unacceptable. My husband told him he would just cancel and he left while I was still getting my massage. To say that my massage was anything but relaxing would be an understatement, so much pressure was being used that I had tears in my eyes, my therapist climbed on top of me multiple times and dug her knees into me. This was unlike any massage I have ever had in my life and I am in a huge amount of pain now. I laid there with tears in my eyes writing this review in my head almost the entire massage. I was never checked on, I was never asked how the pressure was. My husband paid for the hot stone add on for my massage and that wasn't done, no discount was given for the inconvenience of his massage being interrupted and stopped 5 minutes in. I will never be back and will share my experience with others. This was a birthday gift and I'm now going to be spending the rest of my birthday in pain. Please don't spend money here. read more

We show up a little before 9 but wait until 9 to go in. The door is locked. We call them and, what I assume is the owner, sleepily answers. I let her know we are here and she says "who?". She makes it clear she isn't here and instead of apologizing, she just keeps saying "oh oh oh". After a minute, she actually tries to say "let me see if I can get someone here." At that point, I hang up. Get "someone" here to do a couple's massage? Like 1 hand per person? It is hard to believe this place has a 4 star review after that.
